Hampton Bay has 2 different manufactures from these doors and their pre-fabricated kitchen cabinets. The recessed style from these 2 different manufactures DONT MATCH. How can a home owner expect to know there is a difference when the brand and style are the same. Save your money, go somewhere else. None of the manufactures are willing to help make this right.

Waited weeks for these doors and disapointed the minute I opened them. I'm installing a stariway to a basement and the owner and I saw a beautiful woodgrained panels in the product page for these, but what we got is nothing close. They look like they're meant to be painted vs varnished.. With pressure on to be finished with this job or wait weeks for replacements, we felt presurred to use these. I think a factory worker reversed the panel by mistake and there was no quality control to catch it.

I ordered 2 of these doors for a couple of custom cabinets that were made to go with my Hampton Bay Unfinished wall cabinets. Both in Maple with the, stain grade center panel, 1/2" overlay and hinged. When they arrived I was shocked at how beautifully crafted they are. That being said, what is hard to see, in the picture, is the style of the routed edges on the rails. Both edges are slightly different than Hampton Bay unfinished cabinet doors and don't quite match the rest of my cabinets.

I just finished installing 11 Hampton Bay unfinished cabinets for a complete remodel of my kitchen. In general, these are well made, and easy to install by a single person with reasonable strength (though they recommend two people). But, as with any such thing, there are caveats. Several cabinets were received with black scuffs on the doors. I’d blame it on a conveyor belt, but they could also resulted from poor handling with hand trucks or other forms of conveyance between operations. Several were also received with oil stains on the finished faces. And, finally, one was received with clamp damage in one corner of the face panel - looked as if the soft clamp face had fallen off and some sorr of metal holder was pressed into the wood. Cabinets are shipped entirely encapsulated in cardboard, so these are all defects that the manufacturer saw fit to send on to the customer. Since these are unfinished, wood filler and a good primer before painting will take care of the issues. Unfortunateley, if you plan to stain, defects such as these may ruin your project. Be sure to open the cabinets and inspect them before installing.

We bought 4 of the cabinet doors with custom measurements. We had them bored for the soft close hinges and ordered the hinges as well. The cabinet construction was high quality with all measurements cut to exact requirements. The hinges are high quality and were easy to install. We painted them white to match our existing cabinets and added hardware. We had issues with the delivery (UPS fault) and Home Depot took complete ownership of the issue. I would order again from Home Depot.

Doors have arrived and are well made. Unfortunately they tried to send the hinges and screws ahead of the door delivery, but the box only contained a bag of screws. I have called about this order 4 times and have still not received my hinges. Not at all impressed with this sort of customer service.

I ordered 7 custom kitchen cabinet doors in maple. All were exactly the correct size and well made.

I built a window storage bench and my cabinet door router bits were too worn to make good cuts. Since I only needed 3 doors it was cheaper buying them already made than buying the router bit set. Doors arrived exactly the way I ordered them. I painted them and they have slow closing hinges that came with them in a separate package .

The cabinet are well made and finished but only outside are real wood, the interior is MDF. I paid more because I thought the whole door was wood. It is installed now so I am living with it. Also, although I measured correctly, they were a little wider and had to be cut down. They are well made and look fine otherwise.

The Hampton Bay Custom Unfinished Cabinet Doors are beautifully crafted, solid doors which allowed us to finish our built in bookcases next to our fireplace. They were easy to paint and provide the craftmanship, style and elegance we were looking for with a professional finish.

I just got one of the 42 paint grade door fronts I ordered and the middle is like thin cardboard . I really regret this purchase for the decorative doors on the very top of kitchen they are fine but if all are like this they will not last in a kitchen or bathroom environment. I am so disappointed in Home Depot . The door fronts were about $55 each they are not worth that

I had a space on each side of my fireplace where I wanted built in cabinets/ bookshelves and to make it work I needed some large cabinet doors. Home Depot made ordering a custom width and length easy. They were also delivered way before the estimate. At first I only received 2 out of 4 doors, but called Customer Service and they made it right.

I needed a single cabinet door for a dishwasher installation. I was able to match the existing design almost perfectly, and got exactly the size I needed. The door arrived quickly and well packaged. It's a solid, well made oak door. I stained it over the weekend using a stain/poly mix and installed the door this morning. Not sure I got *exactly* the correct color (this is honey pine, probably should ave gone with natural oak), but it passed the all-important SPOUSE test.

The middle of the cabinet doors were not the same. But don’t have time to return due to how how long it took to get them

We didnt want to replace cabinets, but needed to correct a flaw in the original installation from 30 years ago. We had to widen a cabinet door opening and matching drawer to fully access the contents in the cabinet. This purchased helped us do just that! Just need to paint!

I ordered 30 pieces, cabinet doors and drawer faces, for an entire kitchen. Every door was perfect, exactly sized to my measurements, expertly crafted, and safely delivered. Each piece was double boxed to avoid shipping mishaps. Great job Home Depot. This is an outstanding value and perhaps your best service in my 25 years as a customer.

Exactly what I was looking for.

I was very pleased with the results of this custom door program. Configuring and ordering the door was simple and intuitive, and the finished product met my expectations. You might want to hit the doors with some appropriate sandpaper to make sure that it takes finish like you expect, as I'm not entirely sure they're fully prep'd for stain when you receive them (though mine took stain well as-is, but I think they could have used a quick pass with some 200 grit).

The cabinet doors were made very quickly and the quality was excellent. The hinges and pilot holes were prepared for easy installation. We are very happy with the final result updating our old laundry room cabinets.

The doors were perfect for refinishing our bathroom cabinets. They came with a very smooth finish - minimum work for a great look.
