Stoney, we are unable to tell from your comments which of our acrylic white coatings that you applied to your roof. Jkristen, we are not sure which Henry acrylic white roof coating that you used so it is hard to comment on your review. All three of our white acrylic coatings, Solar-Flex with a 7 year warranty, Dura-Brite with a 10 year warranty or Enviro-White with a 12 year warranty are excellent coatings and offer the customer a good, better, best choice for their roof.

Dear Home Depot Customer, it is unfortunate that you are unhappy with one of our acrylic white coatings. From your comments it is very difficult to determine the nature of your issue. Without the benefit of knowing if the product did not perform according to standards or if there was an unrealized expectation that the product did not do something that the contractor promised, we are unable to guess what went wrong with your project. All of our acrylic white coatings, Henry Solar-Flex, Dura-Brite and Enviro-White are carefully performance formulated and tested to be highly reflective, protect against damaging UV rays from the sun and cool both the roof and the interior of the building. Periodically though, someone will apply an acrylic white coating with the expectation that it will be waterproof and stop roof leaks, which it is not designed to do. We strongly recommend that you reach out to us directly at jszymanski@henry.com or call our Product Support number at 800-523-0268 so that we can discuss the poor performance issue stated by your contractor.

Hans, it is great to see 5 stars that you awarded our acrylic white roof coating. We can't really tell from your comment which Henry acrylic coating your used. All Henry white acrylic coatings are good, better or best at emitting heat and reflecting the suns harmful UV rays that destroy a roof over time. Henry 287 Solar-Flex is warrantied for 7 years, Henry 587 Dura-Brite is warrantied for 10 years and Henry 687 Enviro-White is warrantied for 12 years and has dirt pick-up resistance so your roof coating will repell dust and dirt to stay whiter longer. Louie, thanks for the very high rating for our acrylic white coatings. If you want to coat your roof one more time and never coat it again you should look into applying Henry TropiCool 887 100% Hi-solids silicone. Henry TropiCool is waterproof and has a lifetime warranty. TropiCool is also rated for catchment systems. It has been tested and certified by NSF International in accordance with NSF ProtocolP151.
