I bought this Trimmer 4 1/2 years ago it just broke down, I`m going to buy another one this week. I figure it cost me $11.00 a year you can`t beat that. I see a lot of bad reviews people crying about this and that grow up people it`s an inexpensive trimmer if you want top of the line Spend $200.00 to $400.00 Hope this was useful to someone.

This light trimmer is working well for me, this is my second unit and it does very good work. I used my first unit until the motor brush is gone.

Nice Solid Trimmer. I bought the Homelite trimmer as a backup while I got my "regular" gas trimmer fixed in the shop. I may not go back. Note - I have a very small yard to trim - so it's easy. But one good fill of the spool gets the job done. It works well - and as soon as I get used to the edging tool, it would get an extra star from me. A very good unit for the price.

Good, light duty weed wackier

I recently purchased my third trimmer. The first one lasted 5 or 6 years. The second one didn't last as long but only because I left the string too long when I threaded it and it cracked the guard so that the trim knife doesn't cut the string the way it should. Still usable though. I am now on my third one. I have a corner lot and a good-sized back yard. I use this mostly for edging. It does a good job. The only concern I have is that the line snaps quite easily. A pebble can make the line snap. One tip is to let the line do the work and don't force it down into the edge of the sidewalk or edging. I have also found only a few times that the line can fuse inside, causing it to not automatically advance like it should. Not sure why that happens. I like the auto advance string as well as the manual button that can be used to advance the string. Overall, a good trimmer.

Purchase this summer just stopped working. Didn’t even last long enough to change out the string that came with it. What a piece of junk.

Very light weight and easy to use.

This thing is an absolute piece of trash that should not be for sale. The string comes out no matter how you wind it. I wound it the correct way btw. It's a piece of garbage, you've been warned.

This is the worst product !!The spool constantly breaks!!!!no matter which spool you use !If you want to get aggravated buy it !!!! The best electric trimmer is Black & Decker buy it you won’t be sorry !I would give it 10 Stars !!!!! Paul

OK for light trimming but bogs down in the rough stuff.

The cutting cords are sturdy, ie, they don’t wear down quickly. I am able to cut horizontally and vertically, which is great!

Decent value for the price. I bought this model to replace the same model trimmer which lasted 12 years before rusting out. It has sufficient power to take care of the weeds especially growing in driveway cracks and between pavers.

pros: very light weight, easy to assembleCons: String feeds toooooo fast; that was a tangly mess, not enough powerjust don't buy it!
