This supposed to be a bathroom fan, so it will be used in moisture environment, but 9 months later the vent holes where air is drawn into the fan is rusting. Second problem is when in shower and fan is running, Alexa can’t pickup your voice

Quite simply it doesn’t work. Worked ok for about a month now everytime you want to just use a button you have to hard reset it multiple times, better off just getting a reliable tan with a switch that works

In short, this unit failed within two years of installation, and during its operating life, we experienced a significant number of bugs with its operation. The Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity often interfered with the functionality of the fan and light, never mind the smart speaker. I would urge anyone who is considering this unit to stay away, and just get a lower-tech option without the "smart" features.

Had this for 1 year and we love it. The fan is so much quieter than a normal bathroom fan, but provides just as much venting. Some people complain about connection issues, and I can see how that may happen, but with a little technical skills, the average person should be able to work through their issues. We certainly did and we are not computer people. The speaker sounds good and gets just loud enough for our large master bath. Used it daily for a year and no issues.

We were sold these fans under the impression they would easily replace our existing, broken fans. They DO NOT. We now need to hire an electrician to climb around in our attic and will be returning one of them because it's not worth the hassle to install it. NOT what we were sold on when we placed the order at our local HD.

Installed by a professional. Went out in less than 2 years. Company replaced unit under warranty. I had to hire a professional to go into my attic to replace the unit at my cost. 2 years later went out again. Company said no longer there problem. Poor quality, would help if you could at least replace from inside the bathroom and not have to go back into the attic every time. Will not buy again.

I don’t feel like writing a extremely long review. long story short, I went through two of these fans in a 1.5 yr period. Lots of lost connection issues. One fan motor died, the wall switch is the worst electronic device on earth. Try having guests and kids over and they start pressing all the buttons. Also the white metal on the outside started to rust in just over a year. I could go on and on. I just threw it in the garbage and brought a non-smart fan this week. Much happier now.

It looks great, but the fan does not work with 5G internet. In order to get Alexa working you will need the internet; however it must be 2.4gHz so that the fan works. Do not install unless you have 2.4gHz. Waste of time and money paying to install and uninstall and then returning and buying a different model.

I purchased this unit for a bathroom remodel,went in fine ,was sketchy from the beginning when I first connected to the Alexa feature,the app is trash and now to the good part here we are 1 month after purchase,the wall switch took a dump !! Light up but none of the functions work 😡 tried to reach Homewreks customer support alway everyday “they are experiencing a high number of callers” send you to a voicemail service that I’m sure the don’t respond to. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!! WORTHLESS!!!!

If you read this review and still buy this, you have no one but yourself to blame when you end up replacing it two months later. We have had this fan about six months. A licensed electrician professionally installed it. It broke two days later. Customer service sent us a new part at no cost, but we paid the licensed electrician to again repair it. Two months later, it broke again. We are done with it and currently replacing it with a different product.

Doing my bathroom renovation my contractor suggested this Bluetooth speaker with fan . After having it installed exactly one week from today it suddenly stopped working.. This is horrible for $199 plus the cost of installation I’m pist!

I bought this light because I like the design and it had Alexa. I wish I would have read the reviews first. It loses wifi almost every day and usually when you need it. Then the touch buttons on the switch quit working. Great idea but just doesn't work.

Won’t connect to wifi… app SUCKS! Very disappointed.. thought would be a nice for a smart home.. HomeDepot should remove it from stores…

I purchased 2 of these units and had them professionally installed by my electrician. The first unit never functioned correctly. I was sent a replacement unit which cannot stay attached our home network. It isn't a network issue as every other device works fine in our home except this hunk of junk. The second unit stayed connected but muted itself and cannot be unmuted. Their customer service is pleasant enough, but they cannot fix a faulty design. Don't waste your time and money!

We bought it and everything was great. Fast forward to a year later. The entire thing started to rust, Alexa stopped working even after resets it still didn't work and the center plastic just fell off.

Two tiny speakers.Muted dull sound, and absolutely no base. A walgreens bluetooth speaker has better sound. On the bright side, it looks cool.

Purchased and installed with an electrician and it worked fine. A few days later the switch no longer would control the fan. I had to call the electrician back out to assess and he had to relook at all his wiring and make sure it was correct and it was. Only fix was holding power until it reset. This worked for only a few days again and this process happened 5 more times. The electrician deemed the switch to be the culprit. We bypassed the switch & use Alexa to control it.

The product is cool and the sound is ok, it required a number of irreversible changes to install. I have had it a week and it has needed to be reconnected to the app three times. Have reached out for a permanent fix or refund. Home Depot should REALLY monitor these posts and consider the customer experience they are providing by selling a product with OBVIOUS issues based on the reviews. Wish I would have seen these before I purchased. Bummed out, really wanted this to work!

Do not buy this product. The switch on the wall (which was installed by a professional, experienced electrician) controls the functions sometimes, randomly. You never know how many times you need to push the light, fan, or dim button before it does something. I've been trying to turn the light off all day today with varying degrees of pressure, it just won't respond. I can't wait to get this thing removed so I can take it back.

Excellent fan and features. Easy to pair with your phone, so you can get the party started in your bathroom. The best part is the 2 night lights options.

It periodically would disconnect from wifi and would have to reset with switch, the light kept reverting to nightlight mode, then the switch stopped working, and now the fan wont work, would not recommend

The fan lasted for 6-8 months or less before it completely stopped working. While it worked I enjoyed the Bluetooth and voice control for music however for the amount of money you pay ~$200 I expect a much higher quality fan to last years, not months. This is what happens when a company focuses more on technology vs functionality. I DONT recommend this product nor will I buy this brand ever again. I will be switching to a standard exhaust fan where I hope the quality of parts last much longer.

Works well. The Alexa in the fan is very handy for the shower.

Stay away from this exhaust fan its not for restrooms with showers it rust inside and electronics get damaged my light stop working within a month and alexa also stopped working not thought out product

I had this fan installed and it looks great, the fan worked well and it's quiet. It never, not even once, responded to Alexa. That would be okay, but then the fan stopped working completely after only 6 weeks. They replaced it. I paid to have it installed again. Worked for another 6 weeks (no Alexa) and then stopped working again. Homewerks doesn't make another fan that works manually that's the same size, so I now have to buy a different brand and have my contractor install and patch up the ceiling for a different size and shape fan. Buyer beware!
