Fan meets our needs but Alexa functions not so much

Please save yourself the headache and don't buy this junk. It always disconnects you, I did some research and I toggle something on the app, great it was good for about 3 months. It was disconnected again and now I did the whole works and now the LED ring light is on and will not turn off. This is horrible product has been a nightmare. Safe yourself the headache and the money! This issue has nothing to do with wiring. It's been 6 months with this product

Very easy to assembly, Always pay attention to instructions to installing. Looks to be very modern and relaxing while your doing ur bathroom hygiene/ and Cleaning, always good to listen to music during your cleaning duties.

Bought this and unfortunately, I had the same issues as some of the other negative reviews. The light/fan work great from the wall switch, but the Alexa portion only worked for about 2 days and then I had a blue spinning light that could not be resolved. Did all the troubleshooting and even called Homewerks twice, but nothing fixed it. This is going back to the store - so disappointing.

The exhaust fan works when you push the button, the lights work when you push the buttons, the music does play. However, the skill needs to be constantly re-enabled to get the fan or light to work with voice commands... Meaning if you are in the shower and ask Alexa to turn on the exhaust fan it doesn't work more often than it does work. It will tell you to re enable the skill again and again and again... It's not worth it.

Worked great the first day, 2nd day wall switch worked but voice commands did not. Factory reset and reconnected to wifi, worked for another two days. Now the Alexa portion works but the fan, light, and wall switch do not… biggest waste of money and time. Wish I listened to the other reviews.

We bought one and our remodeled installed it. Was working but never took the the time to set it up as the bathroom wasn’t completed yet and we were all living out of another bath. Two days later it doesn’t work at all. Box was already tossed. Ran to Depot to buy another for the contractor and that one doesn’t work at all. No light, no fan, no Alexa. Now I have two, with both receipts, but only one box, and I still need a fan. Hoping they will take back.

This item has been a problem since day one. I drops the network seens like every other day. I have ti factory reset every time ti get the unit ti recognize the network. Thought it was my wifi so I purchased extenders and it does the same thing. I am ready to pull it out of the ceiling and take it back. When it works it does well other than I literally have to yell at it and my ceilings are inly eight feet high. I would not purchase this unit.

Love the fan takes some getting use to the commands and how the buttons works on the wall switch. But once you get use to comands its a great product

Not very happy with the purchase. Would not recommend as Alexa disconnects constantly and not worth for the money spent in buying and getting it installed by an electrician. If I have the option of replacing it, I would do it without even giving a second thought.

Zero support Doesn’t work AT ALL, without Wifi and App to install. Switch went out twice in less than 2 days. ( two bad switches) Zero help from support. Pure trash product. In a pretty package. Worst purchase ever of this type of product.

Majority of the time the fan doesn’t work. Loses connection with the switch and it’s upper annoying to set up every time. I regret buying this garbage.

First of all you need the HomeNetwerks App. I tried for 1 month to connect and pair to Bluetooth and unsuccessful so returned my first fan. Bought a second fan. Finally discovered that the app listed in the manual was incorrect. When I finally paired it worked great for 2 weeks. Now only fan is working after pressing power button for a very long time. No Alexa or lights working after 2 weeks. Customer service hours are not helpful as those are also my working hours. Also trying to turn on fan takes forever, have to keep holding button and wait. Unable to reset and try to connect device again. Out of luck because already threw away receipt and box. Better to get a regular fan and have a Bluetooth speaker in restroom.

They are not kidding when it says it needs a dedicated circuit. Upgrade from standard fan required running a new romax from the switch to the fan. Follow the wire diagram in instructions. Programming is not straight forward but once connected it is great. Fan sound is low db and does not conflict with music. Initially 5g did not work - requires 2.4 so had to purchase new dual band router. At times Alexi conflicts with Frig and/or door lock. A bug yet to work out. AND YES - it does require ceiling access - no doubt about it!

Installed a year ago. It was a pain for our electrician to install. After many attempts to get the thing to work on a timer by asking Alexa, it still doesn't work (turns on fan with no timer or says "I don't understand"). Alexa would randomly turn on and say something (ie "ok I'll play Elvis" when no such request was made) so I have the microphone off which defeats the purpose of "easily tell your fan to be on a timer". The fan does not clear the room well, the speed at which it clears out steam or *smells is not much better better than just opening the door without the fan on. The lighting is nice, but we are getting a plain old fan with a timer switch ASAP.

I’m on number 3. Now the third one isn’t working the wall-mounted control switch lights up, but no controlling of the light or fan. Do not recommend this thing.

new a whole new wire system in order to work, and when I did, our wifi had to be connected to the device before it worked, looks nice a fancy time but too much, I would recommend a professional to install this time.

I love it! Nothing better than talking to a light. i tell it to go to one percent for a nightlight. i tell the fan to come on when foggy in there. i tell it to play christmas music to cover up any sounds - you know what i mean.

Wifi keeps disconnecting. Now the fan wont function. I will not recommend this to anyone. Its garbage! It did not last 3 mons. And it keeps getting worst

Sure the product is nice to have, but the price is way too high just because it added Alexa to it. I felt the value is not there and the price should have been lower to $99 or something. And, the fan itself seems average with air flowing out.

Replaced an older fan and the installation was pretty easy even without access from above (had to cut opening larger to remove old fan so had access on side). So far, working great - light, fan and Alexa all operating perfectly. Great to have the music right there.

Had this fan since June of this year. We splurged on it after remodeling our bathroom. It looks great and the connected functions were appealing. Alexa integration is nice albeit a bit limited (no drop in capability to tell my son to get out of the shower). Recently the switch unit has failed lea ing us with only the phone based app to turn the light and vent on and off. No response yet from the vendor but I have submitt e an email and ticket through the app.

I don't usually put reviews, but this vent is so bad I feel I need to warn others. I bought this 3 months ago. Like other users the Wi-Fi was spotty from the start. Alexa would turn off and then Id need to reset the system again. Ended up just leaving it off. After 3 months the fan just stopped working. I am unable to turn it back on. Ill try to get a refund but not sure I'm able to. Definitely do not recommend this product.

Lasted 10 months. Switch receiver no longer works. Only way to operate light and or fan is to use the app. At this price point, I would expect a great product.
