I received my 1/2-inch drive SAE and Metric 52-piece socket set today, this set is a reasonably complete set of 1/2 inch drive short and deep SAE and Metric sockets. They are as follows; Deep SAE goes from 7/16" to 1 1/8"; Short SAE goes from 7/16" to 11/4". The Deep Metric goes from 10 mm to 24 mm minus a 13 mm, which is left out of the deep metric set for some reason. The Short Metric goes from 13 mm to 32 mm. The Metric sockets are 12 points, and the SAE set are 6-point sockets. Overall this is a highly polished lifetime guaranteed set of sockets.

I received my Husky 3/8-inch drive sockets today; This is a complete 54 piece set of deep and short SAE and metric sockets. They are as follows; Short metric is 7 mm thru 21mm, Deep metric is 8 mm thru 19 mm. Short SAE is 5/32" thru 1", Deep SAE is 5/16" thru 7/8". There are also 4 spark plug sockets; they are sizes 5/8",3/4",13/16", and an 18 mm socket. The plug sockets also have a rubber insert to hold the plug in the sockets. You will have to provide socket holders to organize them. Overall these are a high-quality nice-looking lifetime guaranteed complete set of sockets.

These are high quality sockets and this set covers a wide range of SAE and Metric sockets, torx bits and standard and metric Allen wrenches. The variety makes this a very versatile set to stock your tool kit to cover lots of smaller size fasteners. What it does not include is any kind of holder or case. The sockets come loose in one poly bag and the drivers come in a separate poly bag. That's not a negative, just info. I had to order some socket holders to go along with this large number of small sockets and drivers. The quality of the sockets is good and they fit will on my 1/4" socket wrench and extensions. I am very happy with this set of tools. The markings are very good (see photos) and are as easy to read as possible on such small tools.

The sockets are highly polished and will work with any quarter inch drive ratchet or driver system. The SAE set includes all sizes from 5/32 to 9/16 in deep sockets and 7/32 to 9/16 in shallow or standard size. The set includes metric sockets from 3.5 to 11mm standard depth and 4mm to 14mm in deep sockets. I had plenty of 1/2 inch drive sockets, but I lacked a good set of 3/8 inch drive sockets. I selected these for several reasons: 1. it was a complete set of SAE and Metric. 2. It was all 6 point sockets( fit nuts or bolts easier and allowed more torque without rounding the heads. 3. It had both deep well and standard sockets. 4. the fitment range was from 5/32 to 1" and 7mm to 21 mm on standard, and 5/16 to 7/8" and 8 mm to 21 mm on deep wells.

This is a nice set of sockets in a very good range of sizes and in both metric and standard SAE. The drive is 1/2 inch and the wall thickness of each socket looks to be average so they should last a good while. The sockets are all marked with the Husky brand and the size in larger numbers so that it is easier to read and find when you need one. Recommended.

All in one sockets for your ¼” drive! Get into tight places with virtually any type socket you need. The set comes with SAE and metric in standard and long sockets. It comes with hex drive and TORX heads. Any DIY knows that a lot of times it’s hard to put a lot of torque on a TORX head in tight places. Now you can use your ratchet and maybe even an extension to get into a difficult spot to tighten or remove a connector. Grab this set and you’re ready to take on anything in tight places.

I received the Husky 3/8" drive. The set has a good selection of sizes and depths and its nicely priced. I have a older husky set that has held up just fine over the years, but I have lost many sockets, so this is a bit of a replacement. Husky seems to be good quality for hand tools, never actually had a socket break or strip but its nuce to kmow home depot will replace in store if theres a problem, as long as ya dont loose em. Kinda cant go wrong with that. This set does not come with case or storage rail but I already had one.

This Husky 3/8" Drive SAE and METRIC Socket Set fills the need of having a set of sockets in your car, or at your camp or anywhere that you might need a socket now and then, but not a set that you would buy with the plans to use about every day or on some heavy duty projects. I am a "Tool Guy" and have been my whole life, and I believe in having a fairly complete set of tools everywhere I could need them, but for occasional use you don't need the top of the line tool, but you don't want something that is going to break with just minimal use. I believe that this set of Husky sockets is just what you need for that purpose.

Husky 1/2 in. Drive SAE and Metric Socket Set (52-Piece) is a great set of sockets. My tool box began to fill with Husky tools a number of years ago and have found them to be of excellent quality. These sockets do a great job of holding the bolt heads and not rounding it off. Sometimes the 6pt is best, other times the 12pt. You have a large selection of both. The large markings are easy to read. Highly polished easy to wipe clean. Snaps securely to my ratchets. Lifetime warranty except for loss. This is a must have set. Excellent quality and if history is any indication they will be durable. This is a robust set. One set per non-reusable poly bag, clearly marked. If you don't throw them into a bin, you'll want to stock up on some socket strips. Fit and finish very good. Socket sixes are stamped [not printed]; legibility could be improved, but easily improved with a wipe of contrasting material [shoe polish, paint, ink]. The deep sockets have a relief built into the 'drive side' that makes insertion easy. The shallow sockets have a positive dent to hold securely. They attached quite easily and held securely to my drives and adapters. Husky 3/8 Inch Drive 6 PT Socket Set. This is a 54 piece socket set with both SAE/MM. Very high quality polished steel sockets with great grip. The SAE regular 1 inch depth are 5/32 to 1 inch, MM from 7 to 21. The deep socket are a true bonus, with same high quality polished steel, a full 2 1/2 inch deep, from 5/16 to 7/8 in SAE. In addition, there are 3 size spark plug sockets that should fit anything but a big Diesel engine. The MM deep socket are also 2 1/2 inch deep and range from 8 mm to 19mm. This complete socket set will give you a life time of service for every project imaginable.

the bits are good quality with good tips. the index however is large and eats space fast. get some socket racks for storage if your lacking space..

I used the ratchet two times and then it sat in my bag for week and half. When I went to use it for the third time it didn't work at all.

I bought this kit because I like things that are stored in a case, so I can see they are all there. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the case doesn't close correctly. When it is "shut" and latched, the case is bowed in the middle, so it effectively remains partially open. This allows the bits to move around inside the case, so when you open the case, it is a mess of loose bits, rather than a nice organized kit. The picture shows the best case example of opening the case. Oh well, the bits work, they have a lifetime warranty, and it wasn't overpriced.

This is a very useful design, needing only 5 deg swing to ratchet. What I have a problem with is the execution. Twice in two days the snap ring popped out of its channel, allowing the ratchet and spring pawl to disassemble itself all over the floor. Luckily this occurred in a laboratory and not while working under the hood of somebody's car and all the parts were found and reassembled. I've spread the ring ends apart a bit and reinserted it into its channel, hopefully this will solve the popping out problem, but I'd advise owners to check their snap rings to make sure they're tight in their groove and won't move when pressed on from the end.

Great assortment of bits. I could not find anything that matches it for the price. All the sets at my HD had the 3/8" ratchet included, YMMV from store to store.

Sturdy enough to bust-loose Honda brakes or Chevy manifolds. Clicks are small, you can ratchet in tight spaces. The socket-latch works very well, and easily, with large button which is easy to press but hard to hit by accident. The direction switch seems small, but it works easily, and the small lever does not get flipped by accident as much as my other handle. I opened the ratchet and noted good lubrication and reasonably ample teeth; you won't break this by hand. You may like a piece of hose to pad the thin handle. You must hit the socket-catch button to get socket off AND to put it on. I prefer easy on, deliberate off.

This is an ok set of bits that includes Torx, hex (metric and SAE), Philips, and flat blades. The Torx bits are both security (with hole) and regular style. Unfortunately I received two T50 Torx bits and no T50 security Torx bit. This was an oversight at the factory and I subtracted a star for that flaw.

This set has everything a homeowner needs, from basic screwdriver heads to some of the more rarely used (for me, anyway) Torx and specialty bits. Each socket mount attaches securely to the ratchet (I have the Husky 3/8 in) and appears to be strong. I used it to remove some old, very rusted screws that had been damaged by my previous screwdriver attempts, and I was able to get them out. I think that the ratchet action was much smoother than the plain screwdriver, and, coupled with the pressure I could put on it with the ratchet, it made the outcome more successful. I would definitely recommend this toolkit to anyone doing basic home repairs. The only downside I can think of is that the case has no extra room for the ratchet. I understand that not everyone would have the the same ratchet handle, so designing room might be problematic. But I think it would have made the set perfect to be able to keep the handle with the bits.

A fully guaranteed ratchet at an affordable price. I really like this ratchet wrench. The handle is a great fit in my hand and feels well balanced due to the tapering of the handle. The 72 teeth make the turns of the ratchet smooth and very sensitive. I also like the lock/release button on the top of the handle - it makes adding or removing the sockets a snap.Well worth the investment. I've had very good luck with the Husky product line overall.

This is a pretty basic driver bit set in 3/8. comes in a great case that is somewhat compact but shows all the sizes. all the sizes are the more common sizes & labeled nicely. I would strongly recommend!!!

Nicely polished, 37 piece set in 3/8" drive (compatible with the locking ball detente ratchet drivers) comes in an easy to read black plastic storage case. The set includes: 4 Philips drivers (#1-3 & special #2) 3 Slotted (#4-6) 5 Metric Allen (3-7) 7 Standard Torx (T20, 27, 30, 40, 45, 50, 55) 9 Security Torx (T15, 20, 25, 27, 30, 40, 45, 50 & 55) These have the hollow center to clear a security pin Overall Length of each driver is about 1.87" on average and maximum diameter at the base is about .70" in diameter. Each driver is deeply engraved with the size (letters/numbers are about .18" tall). The only thing I wish the case had was storage room for a ratchet/driver so that I could have the set complete & ready to go. That would have yielded a 5-Star set! Backed by a Lifetime warranty
