Broke all of the ears off!

Worked very well. Couldn't get the tub drain out without it.

I was able to use this by hand to get my drain out. I probably wont have to use it again for a couple of years, but good to have on hand. Should last a lifetime.

It's definitely a solid piece of equipment. However, if neither end fits your drain, you're out of luck.

Shouldnt have made this thing out of aluminum. Broke the teeth off of both ends trying to get a drain out. Maybe itd be ok if you have a tub drain thats easy to remove but if yours is old and stuck like min forget about it.

I had 2 separate bathtub drains to replace. The first one I was able to easily remove by placing my needle nose pliers into the drain and spinning. The next one was so stubborn it didn't appear to be able to move the same way same method. I was enthusiastic to buy this tool at Home Depot. Purchased it, brought it home, attempted to place it into the drain using either end, yet, unfortunately neither end of this tool fit into the stuborn drain needing replacement. The body of the tool fit into the hole of the drain, the fins on the tool did not fit down between the cross bracing. It was worthless for removal of the problem/stubborn bathtub drain. I thought about taking it back, I had destroyed the package while removing the enclosed tool. It's possible Home Depot would have taken it back, my time is worth something versus the $12 plus tax. I was disappointed with this tool unfortunately.... Desperate I went back to my needle nose pliers shoved them into Drain and open them all the way then placed a plumber's monkey wrench. Around the players frest up against the face of the drain.... With good luck the drain turned and was removed! I hope I save someone from buying this tool ans being disappointed

Works great. Perfect tool to remove bath tub drain cross section. I was satisfied. Good product

The wrench fit perfectly into "Moen" tub drain to remove and install new. Because other reviews mentioned tool breaking, I went into it with restrained force. Worked as designed to remove 10 year old drain that plumber had installed with pipe dope on the entire thread. Worked equally well for installing new drain (which I installed with teflon tape and plumbers putty around rim of tub). Recommended.

The grip tees is to wide and some on the drain hole is to small , is work with some ones but with all drain you find in your work .

Seems like the ends could be longer! When tightening, I experienced a lot of “skipping” when I tried to fully tighten the drain to the tub! (Used plumber putty to seal the drain)!

Luckily I was able to remove the bathtub drain that are screwed in. Mine was not stuck but came out properly with no hard wrenching on the drain. The four points of contact cause it to have even pressure on the cross section.

It did what it was supposed to, but I wish I had seen it didn’t allow for a socket wrench to help with twisting it. Our tub was rusted on and needed a few minutes of heat from a blow dryer to loosen things up before this worked. It wasn’t a fantastic tool, but it did the job.
