This was a replacement for a previous model that lasted over ten years without any problems. Since the replacement model appears to be almost identical to the previous model, I am hopeful that it will last just as long.

Installation went fine, but the actual function is not so good. The water spits out pretty quickly and not in a steady stream. I have to hold a cup underneath rather than being able to set the cup in the sink because the spout doesn’t reach out far enough from the edge of my sink. Also, the handle is loose in jiggly, and I don’t know if it’s supposed to be that way.

My family is excited to be able to have tea / coffee far quicker now that we no longer need to boil water. The install took longer than I thought because adapters weren't an option as I had to replace the angle stop on the pipe. Now that I have the filter, heater and tap installed it's wonderful and matches my faucet rather well in style and finish.

Love the look and very easy installation. This unit gets normal use. I hope they improved the tank over the last generation, I had to replace two heater tanks over a five year period,

I have other InSinkErator products and this was a great addition. The hot water dispenser was easily installed, did not take up much space under the sink and the faucet feels like a quality product.

I have only recently had this product installed so have only used it a few times but it performs well as expected. Water is always very hot and does not come out so hard and fast that is splashes in and back out of the cup as I have seen others do in the past. You can hear it when it heats up but it's not so loud that it's annoying. Very pleased and satisfied with this product.

This hot water dispenser replaced a previous dispenser by the same manufacturer, InSinkErator. The product performs better than expected. Installation was easy because all the plumbing was already in place. I just had to connect the new unit to the existing lines. If you're like me, and want a cup of tea or coffee without waiting for a pot of water to boil, you'll love this product.

the one and only insta hot on the floor for sale a my local store . It is functional, replaced a very bulky but decorative Kitchenaid brand . this is a slim design which gives countertop appearance of looking cheap. the fixture Functions well and heats fast . Very easy install for DIY.

Loving the convenience of instant coffee, tea, and filling pots for cooking. No problems so far (had it for 6 mos). Looks nice and does what it's supposed to do. We had a plummer install the hot water dispenser and a new faucet at the same time.

This hot water faucet and tank are a great addition to our kitchen. The copper line was short but the addition of a short flex piping resolved the problem. We bought it to replace a Kenmore product which no longer exists. We hope it lasts just as long. It works fine...no dripping from faucet and water always hot, lever easy to pull and seems durable. I even spray painted it to match my bronze kitchen sink faucet. This faucet model only comes in two finishes. What I like the most about this brand, is it's just the right height. Other brands are too high and to not have the right proportion to a new style kitchen faucet.

We are on our third hot water tap and we would not want a kitchen without it. We use it for making instant hot beverages, cooking, warming dishes, opening jars, cleaning gunky utensils (i.e. dissolving the peanut butter off a knife, etc.).

We have used this water heating method for over 20 years! It makes a perfect cup of tea and coffee. Use it to start cleaning greasy pots and pans or rinsing off a butter knife or peanut butter. It's always hot and ready. Even during a power failure we still have some heated water to make a beverage. Ever since we had a "smart" Kettle that didn't automatically turn itself off and started a fire on our laminate countertop, we have always used this brand for our hot water dispenser! Each has lasted on average, 10years! And we have hard well water with a water softener. I definitely recommend. Just be careful with kids that don't know that it dispenses extremely hot water!

This is a great product. It is wonderful to make your beverage by just turning on the tap and not having to boil a kettle. No more tea kettle.

it is a great indulgence to have instant boiling water in your kitchen, and this device delivers. The problem is that, for the cost of it, it doesn’t last very long before it starts leaking. I am on my third one! At best, I have had it last 5-6 years, before there is a pool of water beneath it in the cupboard or even onto the floor. We really have had to think it over before replacing it and our plumber agrees that there is a defect in the design. This time he added clamps to the connection to see if that works. I am lucky I can afford to keep replacing it.

This unit started losing its ability to maintain temperature after three years. After gradually increasing the setting for a few months, it's now cranked and only heats the water to 140 degrees. That's at the 3 1/2 year mark. The owner's manual is quite helpful on the subject: "replace tank". Of course the warranty is three years--gee what a surprise. Planned obsolescence at it's finest. Avoid this product if you want something that will last. I'll be replacing it with another brand.

This is a great product and has been reliable and problem free for 8 years. When the original product did display a problem, Insinkerator was quick to assist us with the fix. Would highly recommend.

Replaced the old leaking one ,it works like a charm ..:)

It was easy to purchase online and there were no issues with delivery. A professional plumber did the installation and advised that the Dispenser Handle was defective -- it leaked. I called Home Depot customer service but issues on their end wouldn't allow me to continue with the return process. I was instructed to try calling back in a few hours. Nope. I then called Insinkerator and they are sending me a replacement. I will update my review on the product once I receive the replacement.

Had to make a special trip to Home Depot to purchase a brass clamp for $5, that SHOULD should have been included in the packaging! What a disappointment!

Replaced an 12 yr old InSinkErator with a new model. Easy installation and the new model works great. Looking forward to several years of hot water for a variety of uses.
