Overtightened the fitting on the on/off 150 PSI automatic high pressure control that turns the pump on and off. It cracked half way around in a very tight difficult spot to reach and I was now looking at $400 to replace the entire compressor unit including the pump, tank, fittings, control switch, etc. Pressed JB Weld into the cracked air fitting and coated the entire fitting with it all the way around using rubber gloves. IT WORKED with NO leaks on the high pressure side at 150 PSI. Saved me $400.

My dad showed me how to use J-B Weld. That was about 55 years ago. I've use it for hundreds of times. I've used it for tons of repairs for all kind as of repairs and making projects. My best repair was on my 65 Dodge pick up I built pretty from ground up. It had a old straight 225 6 cylinder. The bad thing about it was. It had a crack between all the freeze plugs. So I figured I'd warm up the motor. Then used J-B Weld aplyed it to the entire crack. Let it set for about 3 days. Refilled it with annti-freeze. Started it up. No leaks. I had that truck for 10 years. Never ever leaked. It was my everyday driver for work, hunting, fishing, shopping and camping. So that's my proof how well J-B Weld works.

Great product, glued my sole back on my shoe, handle to my Oster mixer pitcher, and bumper back onto my car! Very strong bonding agent!

Great for small jobs I have used this product for the last 14 or so years. I even fixed a muffler hole issue in an old car.

Very reliable product, does what it claims to do. I use the regular when I need to make adjustments and need a slow set, but the JB Quick is just as good for most repairs if you don’t want to wait.

This is the second time I've tried this product. Won't waste any more money on it. It NEVER gets tacky enough to stick. I don't have all day to hold things together.

It works great for items under low pressure but high pressure pipes does not hold weld.
