Best slider. I have 8 of them in my business. They are perfect. I would definitely get the soft open and close though.

First time installing a pocket door, went smoothly

hardware is very good quality, good instructions, installed it with no problem, *other* than, one bracket was missing on the first one I bought (package looked to have been opened, so could be a returner' issue, and NOT manufacturer's fault..... but, since I was in a hurry, I bought another one, and it had 4 pieces missing, the wooden inserts in the pocket studs !!!! this pkg had NOT been opened, so it appeared to have been shipped from factory that way......hard to believe they packed all four of those in the box, and did not notice the metal studs were EMPTY, no wood filler in any of the 4....!!!! But, between the 2 boxes, I was able to get the pocket door installed, and as I said, the quality appears excellent. I have not finished it yet, just have the frame installed in a garden shed I am building. I returned the 2nd package to Home Depot, no issue with refund, and they marked the package "missing pieces - return to vendor"

Now I have a free wall to expand my shower. Because I am tiling the wall, Johnson highly recommended I enforce their studs with 3/4 board w/Johnson Hardware 3/4 clips sold separately. HD doesn’t sell the clips and bought via competitor. Advise - install 3/4 board along with frame, not after.

Easy install, quality product

Fairly easy to understand (was our first pocket door installation) and works great! Very pleased with the finished look!

Best sliding door kit I have used. The door opens and closes so nicely. Everyone who I show this door to wishes they had the same installed. I will definitely purchase this again.

Soft-close hardware works great, well worth the investment. Relatively easy to install. Paper instructions could be improved to make them more readable and user friendly.

The quality of the 1500 series is much better than expected! It slides effortlessly and the soft close feature is great!

I think the softclose hardware may be a good choice.

It works just as advertised. Closes and opens with no bang, even though pushed hard. And self closing eliminates partially closed and open conditions. Great product.

Instructions were not as clear for a diy, but once the first door was hung, the next was much easier. Works good and glad I purchased the soft close. Am happy with my purchase.

Soft close is nice, but cost a lot for just some added custom rollers.
