We love this shower door,it looks beautiful. We installed about a year ago. We noticed recently the paint, black matt, on the handles started chipping off. This should not have happened so quickly. Our shower door now looks cheap.

We've had this for about a year and a half, and, as many other reviews have stated, the paint on the handles started chipping about 4 months ago. I would not recommend this product as the chipping paint looks horrible and has barely lasted over one year.

The shower door handle is pealing paint. I bought black accents not silver (see photo.) It’s $150 for one replacement handle. It should have been painted properly in the first place.

The Kohler glass sliding door is well made, easy to install and reasonably priced.

Installation is not for the weak! Use a professional. Love the sleek look. Glides nice. Overall happy

This door is very nice. It slides smoothly. Looks great and doesn't get too dirty. the contractor installed it, but didn't leave any of the paperwork for me. I'm finding that the water is going on my floor, even with the door closed.

The Kohler Elmbrook Frameless Sliding Shower Doors in a brushed nickel finish is the unseen gateway welcome you into a transparent shower escape. Everything comes enclosed in a nicely packaged boxing that allows for open extracting and still protection when assembling the unit. The organized and easily locatable hardware package makes inventorying and retrieving the proper hardware for each step. Kohler has treated each side of the beautiful glass doors with CleanCoat treatment that promotes pearling of water and reduces residue buildup on the glass from hard water. Each frame section allows for trimming to fit into showers spaces with up to a 3/8 plumb (slanting measured from side to side) with hardware that is made of quality materials ready to install. A beautiful enclosure that will require a few tools to trim, hand and enjoy in a few hours.

This is not the absolute thickest glass you'll get but it's the 2nd thickest. I actually don't like the thickest one since it reminds me of bulletproof glass. This was the perfect thickness so it doesn't have that high pitch rattle like the cheap $200 shower doors. This one glides smoothly and feels firm. I'm a little OCD w my glass but I only spend at MOST 15 seconds to wipe it down. Squeegee then microfiber it and it looks great!

This is really a nice, heavy duty, thick glass double door. I have installed several and although heavy which I strongly recommend an assistant to help the average person can complete a beautiful install. Nice smooth operation, quiet and so easy to keep clean. This is why I prefer frameless door sets.

Product is excellent. Difficult and very time consuming to put together and install. For to the last door and had missing pieces. Called kohler and they sent missing pieces within a week.

Assembly as expected, beautiful results. You won’t be disappointed!

We installed this shower door 1 year ago and the paint is chipping off both handles already!! Like huge sections of paint/finish peeling off! I’m so disappointed as this was not super cheap and I definitely expected more from this brand!!!!

Product is sold as a shower door but the instructions and fit align more for a tub style door. My head would nearly hit the upper support walking into my shower pan and I’m average height.

The door impoded as it was being installed. Luckily no one seriously hurt.

It did not work out. The door was too short and you had to step underneath it to get into the shower. I feel like it wasn't designed properly. And the handles were actually in the wrong place,

The Kohler Elmbrook shower glass looks like a custom glass install. The double handles make it so easy to enter and exit out either side.

The first time our order came in the door was broken. The second time after the door was reordered we got 1/2 of our order, apparently the other half is back ordered. If not available soon we most likely will return and get from somewhere else. Item was ordered in the beginning of April
