The jetty is not coming out-it's pointing down
Our water pressure is excellent so there must be something wrong with the jetty. It's pointing downward.

    Life changed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time using bidet and I was hesitant untill I tried it. The setup was easy. It has changed the way I look at my morning routine. Amazing experience. I need to run a wire to the outlet as it needs power. I wish I had a power outlet by the toilet seat but apart from that it's great.

We've had this installed for less than two weeks. This is the next to lowest model bidet function toilet seat that Kohler offers. Primary difference over the lower model is that this seat warms the water so you won't get a cold surprise in use. It has an ultraviolet feature for disinfecting, but I can't say how well it works. It fits fine on our Kohler Cimarron elongated one-piece toilet. The installation on the toilet does not require much expertise. All of the fittings and hardware needed to install it are included in the box. The addition of an electrical outlet to serve it requires more expertise. If it is new construction, it should be really easy; existing construction adds complexity. Regarding functionality, this is our first experience with these types of products and we are very satisfied so far. The spritz is aimed accurately. You can adjust the pressure and temperature of the spritz on the little control panel attached to the seat. In the next fancier seat, the control panel is located closer to the front. All bidet type seats share the issue of more surfaces to keep clean. The seat is easy to remove from it's mount for cleaning -- if you can remember where the tiny trigger button is -- but will still be tethered to the electrical outlet and the water supply so it doesn't really disconnect entirely from the toilet. We can't say yet how much of a problem this will be. These products don't fit on anything but elongated toilets. You lose some of the elongated bowl's real estate because the mechanism pushes the opening a bit forward.

I have a Kohler Santa Rosa toilet and have been trying for years to find a bidet seat to fit prop...
I have a Kohler Santa Rosa toilet and have been trying for years to find a bidet seat to fit properly. At the time, I hadn't realized that the Santa Rosa is a "compact elongated toilet", meaning, it's an elongated toilet designed to fit in the same space as a round toilet, so the tank potion of the toilet is closer to the bowl. This makes it difficult to get a bidet seat to fit properly on the Santa Rosa. A "regular" seat bidet would extend beyond the front of this toilet bowl, making it look terrible, despite being functional. I then decided to search the Kohler website for options, since I thought, "they make the Santa Rosa, so they must have a bidet seat option or recommendation." I was surprised to find that Kohler made bidet seats and they had options to fit the Santa Rosa. I was also surprised at how affordable the C3 050 was. Granted, it doesn't have too many bells and whistles, but it does the job. The installation was easy enough without needing a plumber. My only reason for not giving the bidet seat 5 stars is that the sitting comfort isn't as comfortable as my Toto bidet seat. But it fits on the Santa Rosa!

      Warm!!
This is our second bidet, the first was a non-electric, which we really liked...however the water supply was taken from the tank supply.....and was of course cold. We ordered this electric model, which heats the watr, and it's fantastic! Installation was simple, attach the mounting plate to the bowl with the provided fastners and snap the seat into place. The seat comes with attachment bolts, a T fiting for the water supply, and all the necessary hoses. There are adjustments for water temperature and sprayer direction located on the righ side of the seat within easy reach. Being electric, it does require an outlet. Be certain the outlet is a GFCI model, or the circuit is controlled by a GFCI breaker. It also has a UV light disinfection system!

      Best electronic device ever
"C3 050 Electric Bidet Seat for Elongated Toilets in White " Out of all the electronic devices I have, this is my favorite. Most men don’t understand this, but for a woman, there are times that going to the bathroom and using toilet paper is painful. If you are a woman, you probably know exactly what I am talking about. This warm water bidet seat makes my life so much better. Guys, if you want to make your wife happy, get her one of these. You want this one because the electronic feature warms the water, sanitizes the system, and adjusts the sprayer position. The sprayer has two positions (Front and back) with 3 spray intensity settings. Now for the men. If you have any constipation issues, get one of these, it will mostly likely solve it. Do you love the environment or love money? Then stop flushing trees and hundreds of dollars of toilet paper down the sewer every year. As far cleaning goes, the seat has a quick release so the seat can slide off and be cleaned underneath. I wish all toilet seats, whether Bidet or not, had this feature. It also does a self clean wash and uses a UV light sanitizer. Installation was super easy. You will need to add a “T” to the water line coming into your toilet tank. I included a picture of the one I have. Then its just the one water line hook up and plug it into a power outlet. This is a fabulous product and I highly recommend it.

      Best Bidet system!
Kohler makes the best products! and this is one of them. Install was very easy once you have everything in place to run the bidet. You will need a dedicated 15A GFCI protected outlet near by as this seat uses 1800w when running. Installation of the seat is easy. It installs like most seats but this one has a quick disconnect for easy cleaning. I had no problems hooking up the plumbing as most of the fittings come with the seat. Settings on the bidet are pretty easy to use and easy to access. Pros: easy to install easy to use Looks great heats up fast easy to clean Cons: none!

      Nice Bidet
This is a very well designed and put together bidet seat. Comes with everything you'll need including hoses, plug and bracket to mount the seat (which is surprising quick disconnect should you need to take the seat off quickly). The lid/top is soft close which is always a nice feature. Has different temp adjustments for the bidet water giving you a customized, more comfortable experience. Seems very well made. Definitely a conversation starter. Highly recommend!

A Welcomed Addition to Any Bathroom
Per Kohler's installation manual this bidet requires a 120 volt 15 amp dedicated line with a 15 amp GFCI outlet placed within 32 ins. of the bidet seat. I don't have that. I also don't have an attic and I don't have a basement. Installing this line will require a few hours in a 3 ft. high, dirt floor, crawl space. Currently there's 6 ins. of snow on the ground, it's 22 degrees and windy. I ain't gonna do it, not now. In the spring I'll do a proper installation but for now this is getting powered up with a 12 ga. 20 amp extension cord plugged into a 15 amp GFCI outlet in the next room. The installation of the seat is very simple, the only tools you'll need are a flat head screwdriver and an adjustable wrench or a pair of pliers . Remove the old seat, clean and disinfect the bowl, screw down the new mounting bracket and snap on the seat. The mounting bracket has a large range of adjustability to get the seat positioned just right. The water connection is done with the supplied chromed metal "T" fitting placed between the supply line and the toilet tank. The water feed from the bidet screws onto this fitting. Plug in the power cord and you're done. They also included a supply line, from the tank to the "T" fitting, in the event yours is iffy. I replaced a non-electric bidet seat and was able to reuse the old "T" fitting. The seat has a built-in safety switch which disables all function until it senses weight on the right side of the seat. The LED control panel has four touch sensitive pressure pads. STOP (no explanation needed), FRONT (three selectable levels of pressure), REAR (three selectable levels of pressure) and WATER TEMP (three unnamed water temperatures) For cleaning purposes the seat is easily removed from its mounting bracket with a push of a button. If required, the self-cleaning stainless steel retractable spray wand can be cleaned manually with a soft bristled brush and hot water. There's also a 45 minute UV disinfecting cycle which activates automatically once every 24 hours. My well water has a high sediment content, I have filters throughout the house, thankfully Kohler included a removable filter screen to trap the contaminates before they reach the water reservoir. The seat's a pleasure to use. No more icy cold water, although, that was an eye opener first thing on a winter morning. I lived in Europe where bidets are a common fixture and I can assure you that once you own one you'll appreciate this appliance. Kohler includes a 3 year limited warranty from the date of installation for normal residential use.

      Great Seat!
This product was very easy to install. I was able to install it in under 30 minutes. All the fittings fit perfectly. This seat installed perfectly with the hardware provided. Nothing was needed in order to make the seat work, however the electrical access may be an issue in any given bathroom. I did have to obtain an extension cord to make the electrical connection. The seat does not come equipped with a dryer or a heated seat function, however it does have three levels of water temperature control. This is a great option. Warm water on a cold day is a game changer. The nozzle is stainless steel. The sprayer does not have a timed cycle. The sprayer will run until you hit the stop button. The water does not oscillate, however it does spray in a front or rear position which ever you choose. It also has three levels of regulated pressure which is a must. The seat is equipped with a sensor which will not allow water to flow unless it is depressed. You can extend the wand for cleaning, however if the sensor is not depressed it will not spray water. Lastly is that it has a UV sanitation option that activates automatically once every 24 hours to kill any germs or bacteria. I thought that was a cool feature. I like this seat a lot, and would recommend it to anyone who was interested. I will give you some negative points I have observed. The seat sits at a forward angle, I don't know if thats negative or if it just takes some getting used to. If you have a small bathroom sometimes you may have a tendency to sit on the closed lid. This may not be good due to the plastic construction and the forward angle. Don't sit on the closed lid. This product is made in China.

Constant hot water - never runs out
We have 3 electric bidets, so I am very familiar with installing them. What I love about this model is that it has all the plumbing connections needed to install without the need for a plumber. The water supply simply connects in line with the existing supply line, making hooking up the water a real breeze. There is one glaring omission from this bidet, and that is it does not have a heated seat. This is the first bidet we have owned that did not have this feature. Some of the higher end seats also have a fan that extracts unwanted smells through a carbon filter when seated, this bidet does not. The biggest attraction to this bidet is that it includes a constant flow of hot water. Some bidets have a holding tank that keeps the hot water inside the bidet. The problem with that is you can run out of hot water, and of course it is keeping the water warm 24/7/365 which burns electricity. This seat solves both those problems. A stainless steel wand with automatic UV-light self-sanitization comes as standard (the bidet does a self clean every 24 hours). You can manually clean the wand by activating a cleaning cycle without sitting on the seat - in which case the wand extends but does not spray water. As with all bidets, there is the option of front or rear wash modes. You can adjust the water temperature and water pressure for your personal preference (low, medium or high). This seat is very simple to install. You'll need a GFCI outlet close by, but once you have that installing the bidet itself takes less than 5 minutes.

Misleading description and marginal jet performance
After spending $65 to get it installed, I find out it is Not a heared seat. The water can be heated. Water jets act very slowly and don’t clean as well as other seats I’ve used.

Hello Glenn, my name is Meli with Kohler Co. I am sorry to read your Purewash bidet seat is not cleansing thoroughly, this can be due to a low PSI. I would recommend ensuring the supply stop is fully open for the best performance. If we can assist with your installation further, please email our customer care team at KohlerCustServ@Kohler.com. We are here to help. Sincerely, Meli A., Kohler Customer Service
Six months in and I am very happy with the bidet. Easy to use and install. I have already recommended it to friends.

Kohler take the good with the bad.
I purchased the product a little over a year ago, and initially was very happy with it. Then I had to remove it to clean under the edge of the unit. There is no "easy release" on this unit. You have to unscrew the bolts underneath and remove the whole unit. I am older and the unit is heavy, so when i lifted it off the toilet it tipped out of my hand and fell 16 inches to the floor. The unit was fine, but the lid cracked in two directions. So I reached out to Kohler to get a replacement lid. Kohler does not make replacement lids for this product. You have to buy a whole new unit for the sake of a $20 part. Since Kohler chooses not support their products and would do nothing for me, I just wanted people to know that they will not be able to get parts or help from Kohler's customer service and will have to replace this costly item!!!

The nozzle angle is bad. Unless I seat on the edge of the seat it does not hit the right area! There are better bidets with more functions such as heated seat, self-cleaning, remote control etc., at a lower price than $330 I paid for this. Unfortunately, I needed beige/biscuit color to match the toilet and there was hardly anything to choose from.

Good product and glad to have it
Bought it a month ago by looking up many similar products. Compared to others that I have had, this one is the best. Such as the water kept in the same temperature during the using, the water head positions are much wide adjustable than others (I had never used high end products). It was only a little bit cost but I felt it worth it.

          Excellent Entry Model
Pros: Affordable, Essential Features, Easy to detach for cleaning, Relatively easy install, High quality parts Cons: Seat sensor can be easy to trigger off, The plastic flap stains Overall a solid entry model that has worked well. Electronics failed (controls and jet stream became erratic) eventually after 2 years of daily use but you figure it's something you would rather replace more frequently than hang on to too long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a professional remodeler we are exposed to and install lots of different brands and products, we generally heave a sigh of relief when our spec sheet calls out Kohler products, because we know that we will be installing a quality item. This bidet seat is well built, sturdy and has all the features that you expect in a well made product. Installs easily and works great.

I love it. However, the front wash doesn't go out far enough and you have to adjust yourself. I don't really find it to be to much of an inconvenience.

                  This thing is awesome
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this for a while, I think everyone should own one. I guess I didn't realize that I needed one until I tried this one. It fits my toilet well. Its not too difficult to set up and get started but I am good with that stuff so it wasn't much for me. You do need an electrical outlet nearby to plug this in. It's super easy to use and get setup. Several buttons on the side with different options. Nothing overly complicated. Works well for what it does. Great brand with products that are always well made. This one does not disappoint!

Great for the Cost and Savings
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At the start of the pandemic, we were mid-redesign of our master bathroom and decided to put a Kohler bidet toilet so we didn't have to fight for TP. We love that so much that we decided to look for a less expensive option for the guest bathroom. Although this seat did slightly "shrink" the overall size of my elongated opening, I loved how easy it was to install this bidet. My favorite feature has to be that I can sanitize it with UV light. Warm water and a warm behind on a cold winter night is something everyone has loved so far. Just a heads up, it does need to be connected to power. We had a new outlet installed behind the toilet so we didn't have to run cords and have lines running across the bathroom. If you don't have an outlet close by, this is something you should definitely consider. We love the addition and the guests love it to.
