My wife bought me this grill for my birthday. I wanted a decent charcoal grill that was versatile. Well I got a grill that was AMAZING and way more versatile than anything I could have ever expected. I have a Webber grill that I haven’t even turned on in 2 months after getting KJoe. Love this grill. Best Buy EVER

I got mine at the end of last summer in the fall. Got a pretty great price as closeouts were on. It does so many things well, smokes, roasts, bakes, and grills. Overall quality is great. It did take some effort to get the new style firebox properly assembled.

Read a lot of positive reviews before purchasing. Debated whether to spend this much money on a grill, but after a few months decided to pull the trigger. Went with the Kamado Joe because of the advanced features like the counterbalance hinge and the oven type gasket. I have to admit that I love the Red color as well. This grill arrived well packaged, is solidly built, and was easy to assemble. Look forward to many years of outdoor cooking.

This is my first Kamado style grill. I was a little worried that I wouldn’t like it so I did a lot of researching before deciding. My friend has a BGE so he urged me to get one also. After discovering Kamado Joe I read tons of reviews and watched countless videos comparing KJ & BGE. The things that sold me on KJ were the color (BGE green is atrocious), much better fiberglass gasket vs felt on BGE, the BGE doesn’t come with a stand or any of the extras you get with Kamado Joe, and the Classic Joe II was $200 less than the same size BGE. I ordered my Classic Joe II directly from KamadoJoe.com and they threw in a free bag of big block charcoal and free shipping!! I’ve had it for only a month, but I’ve used it 8 times already. I knew nothing about cooking this way and now I’m turning out great ribs, brisket, steaks and smoked Thank you Kamado Joe for making such an awesome product!!

Hands down one of the Best Kamado style smokers on the market. I have had the opportunity to smoke on many rigs. This unit holds temperature within +/- 2 degrees of my desired temp they ENTIRE cook.

I love this grill. This is my third Kamado type grill and couldn't be happier. I started with the Charbroil Akorn which was an excellent grill - it did the job, but didn't look as pretty as the ceramic smokers. It held low temps, did not require a lot of charcoal to get to high temps and was inexpensive. I then tried the Vision grill with the pull out ash drawer. I ended up returning it because 1. air leaks around ash drawer which impacts temp and would smolder long after done grilling 2, required lots of charcoal to reach high temp. The Kamado Joe is an amazing grill it and my favorite 1, holds low temps with no problem 2, does not require a lot of charcoal to reach high temps and comes with a bunch of accessories for grilling. 3. easy to clean out ashes with pull out ash sleeve.

Great so far after one week and two rain periods the side shelves are rusted.

A new way to make BBQ for me ! Love the ritual to cook with !

Arrived shattered- like 30 pieces. Delivery guys just dropped and left. Had to return and buy a different product. Very disappointed.

The bbq is great but the Grate Gripper was missing from the package which was a bummer, hence 4/5

I would recommend this grill to everyone. I am not a super experienced charcoal operator but, it was pretty easy to learn. I have cooked some great food and don't ever think I am going back to my gas grill ever again. This thing does it all!!

Not happy whatsoever picked it up still in it shipping crate and when I got it home found the base and dome to be cracked and the bands to be bent, I’ve now been going back-and-forth with Kamado Joe, and I’m finally receiving all of the parts that I have to put back together myself a month after purchase

The glazing came in extremely cracked and falling apart, so I had to return it

This is warning to anyone buying the grill. The delivery and assembly services are lousy. The grill was assembled incorrectly and they kept the hinge Disengagement kit. I have been getting the runaround on who to contact to correct this but have not been able to get either Home Depot or Go Configure to correct the issue. If I could give negative stars for their service, I would!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been putting my Classic Joe to the test in the Northeast for the past five years. I don't just use it seasonally - summer or winter, I fire it up. In the summers, I even take it off the stand and truck it to Vermont! Grill is indestructible, I've only needed to replace the gasket. I performs better today then when I got it, or maybe ive dialed it in better. It's become my go-to for everything - smoking, searing, even baking bread. This grill is a beast! I've cooked every meal imaginable on it, and the food consistently comes out amazing. It's the best we've ever had! It I could give it 6 starts I would!!
