[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got this for labor day '24 for a friend for his birthday. We have the xl green egg at home and the kamodo joe works just as good if not better. Super easy to put together with a helper. And the food came out amazing. Very good quality!

I'm so pleased with my Classic joe I the temperature is to the "T" I don't have to use Meat Thermometer with probes to watch my cooks because the temperature on my Kamado thermostat is right on. I love the classic look and the wheels with locks for moving my kamado around. I highly recommend this product. Gotto go I'm ready to start another cook.

I’ve purchased every accessory you can imagine, my next one being the hyperbolic smoke chamber. I love using it to grill or smoke every type of meat or fish you can imagine. I especially love making homemade pizza using a bit of fruit woods to enhance the flavor profiles, my grand kids love it. I highly recommend everyone to give a kamado Joe a try for your next purchase! You won’t regret it.

I am able to fit everything for a large gathering all on one grill on several levels to not burn the more fragile items. My family loves the taste of the steaks I make on this grill. They want me to open my own restaurant or BBQ truck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first started using the Classic 1, I didn't really know how much charcoal to put into it. I read somewhere that 6 pounds was the most that should go in, but I wasn't sure how much that was. I found out later that I wasn't using very much at all compared to that. However, the temperature easily and quickly went up to 400-450, which was fine for doing burgers. I'm still learning how to cook on this grill, but I'm excited to have a high quality cooker in the backyard.

Kamado gills and accessories are top quality with 10 years of barbecue & cookouts the Big Joe still Cooks like when I first bought it, true to Kamado joe slogan "the last grill you will ever buy"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had our Kamado Joe for close to ten years and it’s going strong. Once it took a direct shot from a heavy branch overhead. The side tables got a little banged up but the ceramic cooker held up. I use it at least week for everything from smoked wings to steaks to salmon. I even cooked a pot of spaghetti with sausages one time when our oven was out.

I fell in love with a "brisket" cook of a tri tip - amazing... so amazing i bought a joe pro (not available any more) which has been a great work horse - burnt ends to pizza it's been an amazing product.

Easy to light with excellent temperature control that makes cooking from low & slow to searing hot easy with outstanding results every time. We love it!

At this time KJ was in it's infantcy and very little marketing was available. This unit has been AMAZING and all I had hoped for in a cooker. I have cooked most anything and everything you can throw at it and it just continues to smoke on. If you are considering a kamado style cooker you need to go Kamado Joe and be part of a family. GETCHA ONE

Truth be told I never bought my Joe, its a twice hand me down. Im the third owner, My ex boss gave it to one of my coworkers used, dirty and in pieces fully disassembled, he cleaned it and put it together and used it two or three years. than he gave it to me. I,ve been using it for a couple of years. Had to put a new thermostat on it when I got it, and just today I had to replace the original heat shield and grate (heat shield was cracked when it got it) with a Divide & Conquer grate and two piece heat deflector. Can't say enough great things about this grill, you can grill, smoke, bake etc. Once you dial in the temperature you want it stays there for hours. It very efficient with the lump charcoal I use ( I don't use the high dollar charcoal either ) I'm always amazed at the amount of charcoal left after I smoke a Boston butt. in the past 5-6 weeks I've smoked 5 butt plus pork chops and potatoes with onion and garlic. Put a pizza stone in you got a pizza oven. Bake pies, bread etc??? Anyone considering buying one don't hesitate, it's an awesome grill. I would suggest it its in your budget buy the 24" model as mine is 18" and my only complaint would be I wish it was 24". Sorry my review was so long but we really love the grill

It has held up through a lot of cooking and to our surprise has endured some weather events unscathed. No problems getting it to temp or holding it either. We had considered a competitor, but we are so happy we went with Kamado!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy grilling on my kamado. Some tips is that I removed that ash pan and just leave it bare at the bottom. Got the charcoal basket for better air flow and the extender to fit more food on it. Works really well and retains heat for a long time! It’s like the suv of grills. I have developed many delicious recipes over the years and Joe never disappoints! I have used it just about every weekend since I’ve owned it. Everything we cook on it comes out better than expected. If you don’t have one of these yet, do yourself a favor and go to the store right now and get one. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

I always been the primary cook in the house, but have never been the griller. I’ve been having a blast learning to cook over fire and cooking as much of the meal as I can efficiently on the KJ. Just purchased the Joetisserie and I love it! So much experimenting to do!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a used Kamado Joe Classic that had been damaged in a fall and the previous owner didn't want to refurbish it. I replaced the top lid, ceramic half moon inserts, bottom grate, and top vent. To me, this thing is now like a new grill, and I can't wait to explore it's capabilities. Two racks for cooking at different Temps, indirect / direct cooking. I need to learn these basics, but I'm hoping to branch out too and maybe get a pizza stone to try a pizza on the grill too. However, I'm hoping to just start with some of the basics like burgers and steaks. I.can envision having people over for a picnic and just having a non rushed time of fun and food together around the Kamado in the backyard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I talk about how buying our KJ JR is the best money we've ever spent. I use it for everything I can... chicken wings, pork chops, steaks as often as possible. I have a rule for family that visits: if you buy the protein and it will fit, I'll smoke it. Everyone takes me up on it and I'm going to upgrade to a KJ II as soon as possible, but I won't get rid of the JR because of how quickly I can heat it up and how portable it is. I bought mine because my buddy brings his to tailgate all the time and it's the best.
