Had to grab these before they disappear. Kidde has changed the interface connector and I would have had to rewire all my detectors to accommodate the new connector or purchase separate adapters that weren't available in the store.

Great product. Online ordering the six pack the best and best price. Bought wire plug adapters and old Firex to new Kidde Firex was a piece of cake! Installed each one with that in less than 10 minutes each one.

Junk product?

I ordered and the Kidde Firex Smoke detectors, hardwire, Smoke alarms arrived in 2 days. Easy install on 8/17/2024, replacing old hard wire Kidde Smoke Alarms. My experience with Kidde Smoke Alarms, this brand is trustworthy, reliable and lasting. Since they were just installed week ago, I can’t evaluate their performance, but expect same quality.

Replaced out of date detectors. Easy to install into my existing wiring. I like that you can change the battery without having to remove the detector. I have a interconnected system.

Easy to install, even came with their own 9v battery, which was a nice surprise. It was a 20 minute job to replace the old units throughout our house.
