Having the two drawers on the outside helps keep the refrigerator cold. Easy to get what we use most in those two drawers. We also love the freezer with 3 drawers. Oh and the pizza holder in the door.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new frig! Clear drawers make it easy to see everything easily. Sturdier hardware makes all rollers and door/drawer opening smooth and it just feels solid and high quality. Different from any other refrigerator we've ever had. Awesome!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and I’m very happy with my refrigerator! I love the layout and the amount os space. The produce drawers are clear, making it easy to keep track of what’s inside. I’ve noticed that my produce stays fresh longer in this refrigerator. The two fridge drawers are great for me, I use one for produce and the other for meats and cold cuts. The freezer is organized well with three levels - makes it easy to see what I have and things don’t get buried and forgotten. And the storage in the freezer door for pizza is genius! I am very happy with the amount of ice that it makes. Very satisfied with my purchase so far!

We bought this one and love the design, but it is very very noisy. Hated to have to exchange it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it in October. There is a loud vibration each time the refrigeration equipment starts up, and it continues until it shuts down. We also received no manuals with this unit. For these 2 reasons, I give it a 4-star, not a 5. Expect more cause it’s a Kitchenaid, not our first Kitchenaid product.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love the 2 refrigerator drawers that are accessible without opening the main refrigerator. They are like 2 extra crisper drawers. But there are still 2 crisper drawers in the main fridge space. Unfortunately with 4 shelves installed their really isn’t any place for taller items like OJ or catchup bottles other than in the door shelves unless you collapse the 1/2 shelf which puts the taller items at the front which just seems wrong. All in all I am happy with the fridge.

Would NOT recommend. I've had problems with just about every component of this fridge from cooling to electrical issues. Save your money and go with a different brand or model.

By far the worst refrigerator we have ever bought. It is now 7 years old and needs to be replaced. Constantly need to reset, ice maker has been replaced and the ice bin always freezes up, temperature is never constant, we’ve lost food several times- very expensive to maintain.

Sounds like we're in the same boat as all the other 1-star reviews. Freezer won't hold the temperature, frost build up, horrible humming noise and like all the others we bought the whole suite - dishwasher, stove, drawer microwave and beverage fridge in 2019. For the price and brand I expected a longer life but considering some reviewers had issues out of the gate, I guess we're lucky to have had 5 years. All in all disappointed with the product life.

We purchased this refrigerator 3 years ago when we moved into our new home. We had already purchased an entire suite of Kitchenaid appliances including the oven, microwave, cooktop, and dishwasher. The refrigerator looked perfect on paper and in person. Unfortunately for us we got a lemon. We’ve had the Icemaker go out twice, the freezer go out twice, and finally the motherboard went out last week, all in a 3 year time period. We were obviously hoping for better as we’ve purchased several kitchenaid products in the past but after our replacing our dishwasher and now this, we’re rethinking our choices.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The frighted is not user friendly. The spacing on door and shelves is not good for juice and milk containers, cartons. The shelving notches don't accommodate any common sizes, so have to take shelves out and waste space. The extra doors seemed a saver for common used items, but nothing fits in them. the ice maker takes up the whole second door which did not notice when looked at online.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently moved to a new home leaving behind our Kitchenaid refrigerator of this style but in stainless steel. Once we were able we replaced our refrigerator in our new home to this one because we loved our old one so much. I however, wanted the black stainless and it matched our home better. I love the look against natural lighting and the black stainless is much more resistant to smudges and finger prints.

Bought this model April 2022 and the ice maker has been out of service more than in service. Thought we were doing the right thing buying it from a local dealer instead of a big box store. Wrong. All they want to do is keep sending someone to the house and the problem NEVER gets resolved. It must be a manufacturing problem. Very very disappointing. I don’t even want it anymore. It is not a quality product!!!!! BEWARE!!!

Bought April 2023 Rust on Stainless October 2023 Slow ice production Nice design but would not recommend

We bought this refrigerator in 2016 when we built or new house along with a double oven, two dishwashers another fridge and a very large stove top! This refrigerator has been nothing but problems. 1. The ice maker stopped working. 2. The fridge has stopped cooling twice 3. The freezer has stopped freezing once 4. And now it says the door is open and all the lights won’t turn off on the front panel and the water and ice don’t work again. And also the lights won’t come on inside. This fridge is nothing but junk! Stay away especially if you’re buying a group of appliances because once this thing breaks, it’s very hard to switch brands!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The features are really good, the only problems are that the ice maker is really loud when dispensing ice, and sometimes just runs without dropping ice. The hatch will also clog sometimes with ice and you have to open it and stick something up inside to dislodge the ice. Plus the water dispensing takes too long. The freezer does not seem like it seals, since frost forms on some of the items in the freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought complete set of new Kitchen Aide for a kitchen remodel that was just completed. Love all the features especially the deli and produce drawers. Only drawl back is the thickness of the upper doors which makes it difficult to open the left side (because of ice maker in the door to access item in the left side of the fridge. Just need to remember to open both doors because of using in a smaller kitchen with a tigh fit in the space next to a wall and a counter.

Door were not aligned upon delivery. Installers tries to align doors and could not. Said they would send a tech to Align. Two texh visits and parts and still not aligned and kitchen said so sad, so sorry it is cosmetic and my issue now . It was reported the day it was delivered

Here’s an honest review… I have had this thing for 3 years, I’ve had it serviced a few times for water sporadically coming out of the water dispenser, and onto the floor as well as Issues with the ice maker. Techs have come to service it, changing parts but having the same thing happen so I closed the water that feeds the fridge, figuring I’d rather not have water or ice then a water damaged floor. Problem solved right? Wrong, now I have water coming out from the bottom freezer door, what a joke this piece of garbage is. You’d think you pay more to have a quality appliance and meanwhile you get problem after problem. There is a reason why it’s a one year warranty, these manufacturers know the quality of their product diminishes after a year which is pathetic. I am now looking for a new fridge and will put this is the garage where it won’t damage my hardwood anymore then it has already. Who’s on the hook for that? Not the manufacturer. I will not buy a Kitchenaid again nor will I ever get a fridge with water/ice dispenser on a door, not worth the headaches The doors are misaligned, not sure if this happened with all the service techs that have been through here or just how badly made this thing is, I have a wheel missing which I’m sure a technician lost because how does a wheel just go missing??? Spend your money how you want, but do research on a product, this thing is definitely not worth my money again. Just my two cents for whatever it’s worth

This fridge is fantastic. Lots room and lots of organizing options.. Love the 3 drawers in the freezer along with the pocket for frozen pizzas. The soft close drawers are great for quick grab/commonly used items and help keep from having to open the big doors. I didn’t see this in person when I purchased. Our freezer went out and I had to choose from what was available the quickest. Still, I absolutely love it! It’s in a second home and I even like it more than my Sub Zero at our main house.

We bought this fridge and a matching dishwasher at the same time. I loved them both. Then just a few days ago some of the LEDs in the fridge just stopped working on 2 shelves and the top and the ones mounted on the top wall. I moved around the shelves, and the 2 shelves are not lighting up in any area that I hook them to. Also, the shelves, (the retractable ones) that are not working seem to have some deterioration on the prongs you set in the hangers. I have looked at solutions but they were for when all the lights went out. There are some pretty scarry reviews about water leaking on wires and icemakers not working or have no cooling. For the amount of money we paid for this fridge seems ridiculous. I need a solution to fix this before more damage is done, and I have to get a new one! I have a refrigerator in my LL from my first house. It is almost 35 years old and still runs like charm. The dishwasher stopped working after five years. The repair man told me just to get a new dishwasher for the price to repair it. A few months back I did buy another Kitchenaid because it did work until it didn't. This was also before the fridge had an issue. Of course, we also have an extended warranty for 5 years on this. I am just hoping after 5 years it doesn't go bad, like my last one.

I bought this refrigerator 6 years ago. My home insurance company had to make so many repairs to it that they decided to give me the money to buy a new refrigerator and dropped this one from the policy. Some of the problems were: change parts in the ice maker because ice was pockets were forming outside of the ice compartment, once of the ice making options is not working, the freezer’s exterior drawer had to be replaced because it was closing properly and air was getting in the freezer, there are parts of the exterior that is rusting. There are many compartments and surfaces in the refrigerator that create crevices which accumulate dirt ( I have to clean this areas constantly which envolve removing everything on top). All these problems happened in within 3 years of the purchase. DO NOT BUY IT

We have had loud noises from compressor they have fixed it 3 times now. Broken hinge closers. Just would like it replaced. We bought your line of kitchen appliances because we believed they were top of the line. Would like you to please contact us from corporate to resolve this . Thanks much

I already contacted KitchenAid about it and they responded in a timely maner and said they would send me a new part. I received the package but it was a drawer divider for the freezer. I have attached pictures of the divider I need. If you can send me the part I need and tell me what to do with the freezer part, I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks
