This uniquely versatile, platinum interior refrigerator by KitchenAid offers 5 doors, including 2 soft-close drawers, to deliver optimized storage. ice maker is crap
We have had this machine for 5 years, except for the first 6 months, and I cannot get this ice maker to dispense ice consistently. I have had it repaired twice. It will work for a week and then stop dispensing. The ice will fill up in the ice maker bin, but WILL NOT dispense more than one piece of ice and then became completely frozen over and will not do a thing. After two days the ice in the ice maker will start to freeze together forming one big iceberg. So, over the years (during COVID I couldn't get anyone out) I have just emptied the entire bin into the sink and then waited for a new batch of ice in order to get a single cube. Yesterday, was the final straw on this machine, the bin under the ice maker broke off the door (see photo), I guess the weight of the pickle jar and ketchup bottle was too much for this little nubbin of plastic. So disappointed in this machine, and how cheaply made it is.

LOVED THIS FRIDGE, BUT
Had approx 6 yrs or so, all of a sudden various issues w/ice maker, freezer & fridge compartments. Had someone out, replaced (not sure it needed) evaporator, dryer, condenser, still wouldn’t work right. Had someone else out, evidently either someone decided they didn’t want to work right that day or there is a design issue. The back (which is metal) has completely rusted thru to the point you can put your finger thru it) The coil inside is laying up against the metal, insulation inside is totally wet. KitchenAid CS was not helpful at all, time for a new fridge :(

Horrible right out of the box
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this less than a month ago and it’s been a huge disappointment. As soon as it was plugged in it was making a knocking and humming noise. It was delivered on a Friday and over the weekend it only produced about 18 ice cubes. The fridge leaks water inside out of the ice maker. It drips down into the door shelf and also into the sliding herb compartment. Then to make things worse the freezer door doesn’t seal complete, you can literally see light coming through the seal in one corner of the door. Explains why our ice packs weren’t freezing and the fridge runs almost constantly. For the amount of money this fridge costs it’s extremely disappointing to see this kind of workmanship especially from a KitchenAid product.

Everything’s great but the door alignment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought in January 2023. Door alignment is not right. Installer got it “good enough”, but immediately reset itself to not good. Bought a KitchenAid matching dishwasher, installer also tried to get doors to align and said “this is as good as it’s going to get.” Still not right.
One door is offset both vertically and depth-wise. Only thing I hate about it. Otherwise, it’s a fantastic fridge.

Suprise

With the separate compartments and two pull out drawers, I was surprised with easy it was to get the food without having to move everything thing aroind. The LED lights are great and light up the whole interior. I use the measuring water dispenser while preparing meals. Overall this is great addition to my new kitchen.

Rattling

So much useful space!!

It was making a death rattle so I decided to just do it. And wow!! Everything came out of the old one and I was shocked to see when it went back in I had a ton of extra space. I love the fully adjustable shelves, my produce stays fresh. Everything is so organized. And the bottom freezer with the different pull out shelves makes it easy to organize and find what you need. So glad I finally got it.
