Received one with butter and flour residue in it. Noticed it when I was getting ready to wash the bowl. So disappointing because I was ready to bake. The mixer should have been advertised as an "open box" product because obviously I was sold a returned product.

I had the same Kitchen Aid Mixer for well over a decade and I gave it away to a friend because I got this beautiful copper one. My Mom & sisters all have their mixers too. No issues. This model, Other than how pretty it is, it has been a disaster from the start. When mixing heavier batters or mashed vegetables the bowl will pop out of place. Also, the head jiggles quite badly and the think bolt-like piece connecting the top to the bottom portion of the mixer constantly and slowly slips out. I am trying to find a replacement plate that holds the bowl in place along with the new bowl. (Also, don’t get the coated flat paddle, it will eventually chip.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been waiting to get my hands on the copper stand mixer since March 2020. I had an older model which was a wedding gift. It was 18 years old working great but the copper complements our kitchen beautifully. My daughter has explored her passion for baking and is living using this to bake cookies, cakes, etc. looking forward to many more recipes with our new kitchen aid mixer.

It quit working after the first use. Very disappointed!
