Very surprised by the klein name to have issues with these pliers. Expected to cut through like butter with wire and slightly struggle on heavy duty gauges or nails. Has slight difficulty cutting through even 14/2nm, and inoperable for higher guagws or nails.

I expected a lot better tool than what these turned out to be. The regular cutters from Klein are much better. They are very bulky as well and cannot get in tight spaces for small precision cuts like inside of knockouts.

Bought to cutt 16 penny nails. Works very well.

klein makes really great tools and these are no exception to that.. knipex makes great tools but I broke my knipex diagonals while cutting stainless steel so I bought this pair of diagonals and they are the shizzz.. I have all of the journeyman series hand tools by klein and all of them are great.. these diagonal cutters are just like a pair of 9inch lineman pliers but they are diagonal cutters.. and they cut great..

Great diagonal cutters.

I have used Klein tools since 1981, they are durable and reliable. You take care of them they take care of you.

I purchased a cheaper set first and they broke the first time I used them. Home Depot has a great return policy, so I returned them and spent a little more on these. I wished I'd had gotten these the first time around. If you need heavy duty work done, get these and leave the cheaper ones for those who want a wall hanger.

Nice set of cutters. These are heavy duty and weigh a lot more than the angled pair I have. These are a lot stronger but come at a cost of being very heavy. Overall exceeded my expectations.

Strong enough to cut most things, durable enough to withstand multiple drops.

These pliers are the best I have owned

They are very bulky I took the handles off and put a tit liner on one side to make them usable for cutting tiewire but they will cut a 16 duplex nail with a little bit of effort

So far so good, these tools are well designed and ergonomic, easy on the hands and the handles provide a great grip . I’m happy with them.

Works well with a clearly well-hardened cutting surface. The pivot was loose out of the packaging though. Had I not needed it ASAP I would have returned and bought the Knipex version online.

Time will tell how well they perform. Fine when new.
