The MMR product is exactly what the label states; "STAIN REMOVER". It is not a mildicide (kills mold). I was curious after reading the directions about not using the product on fabrics, however it is promoted to use on porous surfaces. Typically this means the product contains sodium hypochlorite (bleach) and sure enough, MMR contains about 6% sodium hypochlorite. Although sodium hypochlorite is considered a disinfectant, however, it's not effective at killing mold. It basically bleaches the color out of the mold, but the mold spores are still there. It's also worth noting that sodium hypochlorite is a strong oxidizer so caution should be used when spraying MMR directly on surfaces. I selected MMR to treat stained wood boxes. I also thought to try it on some stained brick. I sprayed the MMR undiluted straight on the wood and the brick with a prayer. Without any scrubbing the stains disappeared almost immediately from the wood, however, there was little change in the brick. This tells me that the wood had organic mold that caused the stain and the brick is likely stained from dirt or other residual from ground splash. The MMR is very easy to use and it does a great job of removing mold stains from wood and concrete, however, strong household bleach would likely be a economical alternate. Item was shipped and arrived very well packaged.

This MMR mold stain remover chemical is great. This product does not require you to mix in water to dilute it. I poured the liquid directly into a sprayer. I wore nitrile gloves, protective eye wear and a chemical fume mask while working with it. After I started spraying it, I could smell a chlorine bleach odor. I used a direct stream setting with my sprayer. Hindsight, I should have used a wider spray pattern. It was cloudy and in the low 40's Fahrenheit. Side note, I was recovering from a medical procedure where I couldn't be scrubbing surfaces harshly. This product does not require you to scrub the surface (which is something you need to do if you go with oxi-clean or some non-bleach eco-friendly mixture). I sprayed this chemical in the late afternoon. I checked on the surfaces the next afternoon and saw that everywhere I sprayed the product on, the green mildew was gone off painted wood, siding, and brick. Unfortunately, I didn't do a thorough job with the spraying so whatever didn't get in contact with the chemical remained green. I have taken before and after photos. So, you can see in some of the after photos, a clear line where the chemical removed the green mold and where it is still intact. I don't need to go over the areas I sprayed twice. I do need to go over the areas I missed. I used this outdoors, but the product can be used indoors (attic or crawl space and basement) where there is mold growth. You do not need to prep the surface beforehand and you do not need to perform any cleaning afterwards. Optionally, you can spray over the areas treated by MMR with a product called Onslaught. It is a 2 ounce liquid that you mix with one gallon of water. It is applied with a sprayer. Onslaught is a disinfectant for mold remediation and water restoration projects. Onslaught is made by the same company as MMR. I did not spray the Onslaught yet as I still have to treat the areas I missed.

This is a Professional grade mold, mildew ans stain remover for any tile or tub application..MMR may be used on Wood, lumber, concrete, brick, etc. This Bottle is premixed and NOT a concentrate. You apply full strength - do not add water! The Instructions state clearly that you should use PPE gear - Personal Protective Equipment. - Safety glasses, rubber gloves, gown, and hat. The room must be vented so as not to accumulate toxic gasses in the room where you are working - Very Important! After donning the appropriate gear, I sprayed the MMR to the areas that stubborn stains and mildew. As it dried, the mildew and stains disappeared where straight Clorox did not work!. Be careful when using this product - the fumes can be toxic and over spray may affect surrounding cloth, rugs, etc. Wear protective Gear!! Per the instructions - may not remove stains on old tile and grout.

This product is very effective. You can see result immediately. Used in attic area to remove mold. Very recommending

MMR erased my moldy boards like magic. I had some old lumber that was stacked and covered outside that I was going to use to build a small 10x12 shed. When I got into the pile I started to see black mold. I used MMR and could see the mold and stains disappear within 20 minutes. I was able to get about 250 square feet treated. I used heavy gloves, eye protection and a resperator when applying. I would definitely would recommend the product.

The product is good for 1 year, usually it looses its color and becomes clear. The product you sent me was on its way to become expired, as it was half clear… Besides that, I’ve been using this product for a about 4 years, and is the Best product out there!

This product does more than get rid of mold stains...it kills the mold. I had an unnoticed water leak that created mold over time. When the ceiling and wall was opened, I was able to effectively remediate the problem and have complete confidence in closing up the wall without fear of remaining mold spores.

This product "really" worked for me. I had several areas with mold that I could not remove. I tried all kinds of different products, that just removed the wall paint and not the mold. This product does have a very "strong" odor. You will need to wear a mask and have ventilation. I just sprayed the areas and then used a sponge a few minutes to wipe off. "Thank You".

The stains didn’t disappear like the internet videos. I used bleach and water and did the same thing. Wasn’t impressed for the money I spent. My stains were really dark I will admit but wasn’t worth the $35
