Hello Marnie and thank you for the feedback you posted on the Home Depot website. We are sorry to hear of the difficulties you experienced with the Moen 82602 Adler 2-Handle 1-Spray Tub and Shower Faucet in Chrome (Valve Included). What you are experiencing is not consistent with the quality we strive to provide. When you run water out of the tub spout and there is also water coming out of the showerhead is a condition we refer to as Stacking. This condition can best be described as the water leaving the tub spout is not able to get out of the spout fast enough and the water begins to back-up behind the wall. The only place for the water to back up is up the shower pipe and out the showerhead. Moen engineers our products to provide exceptional performance provided that the installation guidelines are followed. This includes spacing between components, minimizing the number of “elbows” used in the plumbing configuration and the use of recommended piping materials. We are sorry to hear that you are returning the Moen 82602 Adler 2-Handle 1-Spray Tub and Shower Faucet in Chrome (Valve Included) and we hope you will give us a try again in the future. Moen product specialists are available for pre-purchase, installation, and warranty assistance.
