Doesn’t take up too much space and this grill cook’s excellent. The electric temperature gauge on the grill was an extra pulse and it on wheels which make it so easy to move. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up this portable grill because we do a fair amount of camping in the spring and then in fall it is tailgate season. We went camping this weekend and took the grill with us. It folds down, so it didn't take up too much space in the truck. In terms of cooking, it was awesome. You load the charcoal and you are ready to go. Cooked the perfect hot dog! Highly recommend for a portable grill and can't wait to us this for tailgate season!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This portable grill is great for grilling at the park or camping! I got it at the end of football season and I can't wait to use it for tailgating in the fall! It's lightweight and folds up compactly: I can easily lift it myself and it fits nicely in the back of our SVU. I really love the locking lid! You can close up the grill and move it around or pack it up without having to dump the ashes first. The grates look like they're coated steel and are simple to clean off with a bristle brush. I've not had any trouble with food sticking or corrosion so far. The grill strikes a good balance between compactness and grilling capacity: I can easily grill up 4-5 burgers and brats at the same time. I'm really looking forward to tailgating!

It's very easy to set up and use and the food comes out tasting absolutely delicious every time. Plus I love how it's portable and can go anywhere I want without having to struggle and take it apart piece by piece and then taking forever to put back together.

The only downside was not being able to have a grill when you travel. We’ll Masterbuilt has just solved that problem for you. This past week we have been using our new grill and we love it. The grill is easily set up and taken with you to the park, beach, camping or your back yard. It folds down and comes with a collapsable cart for easy travel. The grill surface has more than enough room for your burgers, hotdogs or anything you would like to grill. It has a hopper to hold your charcoal, a lock to keep the grill closed when transporting and this grill even comes with a temperature dial so you can adjust your grill temperatures. This is a pretty awesome feature and works very well. We are looking forward to using the grill a lot. I would highly recommend this grill to everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a neat little grill. The addition of a fire box and a fan makes for a unique grilling experience and much easier cleanup. I do recommend reading the "operating instructions." My first grilling experience was not great, but I had not put charcoal grate at the bottom of the fire box so there was not enough air flow. When I corrected that issue, the next grilling experience was much better! My only issue was that the glue holding the knob cover didn't hold and the control nob didn't work correctly. A couple of dabs of glue fixed that issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got it a few nights ago and immediately had to do steaks on it, well it turned out pretty good I ended up overcooking them since I had underestimated this grill but after a couple times using it now I think I’m used to it. A little bit of coal goes a long way on this thing unlike others where you’ll use a half a bag or better.

I have always loved a charcoal grill and this Masterbuilt grill is very sturdy and high quality. Not like those cheaper flimsy ones. I grilled steaks and potatoes and they turned out perfect! The grill is easy to move around so you can quickly put it up after use. I like the handy shelf on the side for a place to load food or remove food from the grill. After seasoning the grate food doesn’t stick! I’m so happy with this product and I highly recommend it for all my grilling friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect grill for someone who needs the portability. It is a charcoal grill and would have been nice to give you a portable gas option as well. It is not the lightest however it's foldability makes it easy to move around. The temperature maintains "somewhat" with accuracy and cooks pretty evenly due to the coal being placed in a side basket and using a control fan that distributes the heat evenly. Cleanup is easy. You can close the grill and leave the charcoal in it with out worrying about it getting everywhere.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got this grill yesterday and put it together quickly. Assembly was easy as most of it was already together. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. After assembly I realized this was no ordinary charcoal grill. The design is awesome, heavy duty and ingenious. Essentially you add charcoal to the hopper. Use a starter that then ignites the charcoal. It has a control knob that controls a fan making the charcoal burn hotter. What makes this great is that the heat from the charcoal is blown though a chamber and thus heats the grill. You get the charcoal smell and flavor which I love but use far less actual charcoal and have greater control of the heat with no flare ups. This design makes clean up really easy as well. After proper seasoning I made pork chops and then tuna steaks all on the same load of charcoal. The really unique part is the portable aspect of the grill. Mine is on a cart with wheels. It stands up and collapses with one lever. The kid locks for transport. A built in handle make pulling it around really easy. Speaking of portable, the fan is controlled by either 4 AA batteries or an AC plug. They even thought to put a cover over the place where the plug goes into the grill. I used batteries to test the portable capabilities and in 2 hours they powered the fan at a constant speed from beginning to end. I can’t speak highly enough of this grill. I plan to use it at home but really like that I can take it camping or the beach or just wheel it to the driveway for a neighbor night without the need of 4 people to help!
