This has been a great addition to my Shed, It easily removes heat from the shed soon after I turn it on. Wired it to turn on with separate switch to keep it on without lights on. Just wish the fins would completely shut down after power is shut off.

This fan moves a good bit of air, but the fins are made of such thin metal that they don't have enough weight to them to close completely when the fan turns off. That makes it seem like rain could get in if it's blowing sideways during a storm. Other than that, it seems to be a well-built unit.

I noticed the shutters were not closing easily - I wanted to insure they would be fully closed when not in use. Additionally, The blades were making contact with the metal housing. Fortunately I saw this before installing. Poor quality. Returned and found other another fan. I had purchased two of these fans and both had the same issue.

Works ok after you fix it. Screws holding the unit together are too long. Fan blades hit them and stop the fan.

Pretty solid product. Some fasteners needed tightened. Used the info from review’s to take care of them. I’d buy another one

I did open examination of product noted that it's an exceptionally constructed and operational function cannot be beat and at a good price ! But I'm sad to say it was way overkill I had asked my wife to order a bathroom wall mounted vent fan at a maximum size of 14" overall so you can see how shocked I was when they delivered it. If I needed a industrial exquast fan this would be it !! Impressive !!

did exactly what we needed it to do

Bought the IF14 to vent a small converted barn. No problems. Makes some noise which is normal for a prop fan. I wish they sold a accessory rain hood for it. It's not something I can't get elsewhere though.

This is a much better fan setup than expected. Works great, certainly does the job that it was intended for.

I did not notice that the strap iron tri-mount bracket that supports the motor in the center of the fan was real flimsy until I had the unit installed in the wall in my garage. When I wired it up and started the fan is when I noticed the motor had slipped towards the louvers and was hitting screws that anchor the square frame to the round ductwork. There is no way to tighten this connection to firmly support the motor. I have temporarily used wood shims to keep the motor in position where it is, so it does not move or shimmy. I hope to find a suitable fix to support the motor. I wish the manufacturer had done a better job in fabrication. The only good thing about the fan is the volume of air it moves.

This was not what we was looking for it was not an exhaust fan it was actually a fan that we put for inside of kitchens this wasn't enough we were told this was a residential

The fan is actually less than 14" and the fan housing is greater than 15". The box opening is listed nicely on the website, but you may need to know what size the circular fan housing actually is for those DIY individuals. If you are going to cut a square in a wall and mount the fan and be done, you have all the required info. If you need to cut a circle that the fan housing penetrates through, then cut a 15.5-16" hole. There is actually nothing on this product that measures 14"... not the depth, the fan, or the housing.

I would recommend this product just if some failures are corrected Some screws were replaced due to dangerous to the fan flaps. Duct mounting quite ordinary due to the thickness of the round housing is so thin. Grill protector behind fan should be more secured. Fan motor better secured, I had to use electrical tape around motor for better grip and safe ventilation avoiding motor disengage

Flaps are cheaply secured with plastic pins. If not exactly perfectly installed,will not function correctly.

Put this in my workshop and it helps to pull out all the dust. Very happy with it.

The packaging looked good upon arrival but the fan was rubbing when turned on. Finally determined that a small plastic piece has broken in transit and the fan had slipped forward on the shaft and was rubbing on the louvers in the front. Was able to slide it toward the back and then the noise was gone and it works okay.

The exhaust fan worked as advertised and moves quite a bit of air out. The louvers close as they should if the fan is installed evenly. I'm very satisfied with the product.

While this is a good size, we found the outside metal sides do not meet and had to build corners for the entire piece. Also the luvers will not close with out manually going outside and pushing on them. But the fan blows good ! ha

Good medium use extractor. Two used to vent heat from a warehouse during hot summers. But specs do not including CFM rating.

The product I saw on line said it was 14in. opening, but when we got it, it was larger than what I expected, about three inches larger,that's why we returned it.

Fan looked well made installed and vibrated excessively appeared shaft bent returned to store and received refund no questions asked. Home Depot good to deal with product damaged or inferior.

The fan is good quality but was poorly packed in shipment and was dented and had to be fixed before installing.

Cheaply built. Screws to long hitting the fan. Had to rebuild the housing. Poor inspection by manufacturer.

Keeps the chill off of you. Over all this product help us to do work in cool temperatures.
