It's a decent light, by far not the best light that milwaukee makes. It is the lowest end light they sell and it's a non-adjustable wide beam. I prefer directional beams but It still has its uses.

Okay, I’m impressed with these batteries. I have several brands on hand but these seem to hold more charge in them than similar sized batteries from the other brands. I have a couple of these on a work light and it seems like I can get much more time with these batteries than other lights that I have. The charge indicator on the battery is easy to read and understand. The charge time is only a few minutes in the rapid charger. The price for the 2-pack is well worth it considering what a single battery is priced at.

Will not fit all m18 tools.I love the battery for what I use it for plenty of power and last but I have the m18 led flood light the battery slot has a bar across it and the 9.0 battery it to big to fit. I fill Milwaukee should not claim it will fit all 100 plus tool when it will not. Great quality product as always just shows they don't know there stuff as well as they should for that reason only 4 stars

Huge Milwaukee Tool Fan. I have DeWalts, Ryobis, and Makita Tools as well. I seem to get the longest and most consistent performance out of my Milwaukee Batteries. They are not light weight but they certainly go the distance. I cannot say enough about the dual voltage chargers either... extremely fast and I love that I can see the status indicator from across the job site. I would highly recommend this battery kit especially if you purchased a combo set with the standard batteries.

    More Capacity, Same Size!
This new 6Ah battery is a great step up for Milwaukee's XC battery form factor. It offers 20% more run time than the 5Ah, for about a 15% price bump. Plus, at 26.5 oz, it's only 3% heavier than the 5Ah, and exactly the same size. I did a run time test with the M18 Rocket Light, and got 177 minutes of run time on high with this 6Ah battery, which scales linearly with the run time I got out of the 5Ah battery. I didn't time how long it took for the regular M12/M18 charger, but the Rapid Charger took between 60 and 68 minutes to bring the empty 6Ah battery to a full charge. The only downside is that since this is a 108Wh battery, it's apparently banned from being transported on ships and aircraft. The packaging had a warning saying this restriction applied to any batteries over 100Wh. So if you travel with your M18 tools, you'll want to stick with the 5Ah. Otherwise, I'd definitely go with the new 6Ah if you're looking at buying some spares.

Extra Power when You Need it!
Need a extra battery for a backup when the other two battery are charging. This M18 REDLITHIUM high demand 9.0 Battery Pack stated to delivers up to 5X more run-time, 35% more power, and runs 60% cooler than standard 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries. The fuel gauge on board the battery displays how much remaining charge you have left. Comes with a three (3) warranty. Great battery to have.

    Hefty Battery!!
The Milwaukee M18 18-Volt REDLITHIUM High Demand 9.0Ah Battery Pack is quite a hefty battery. My Milwaukee cordless drill only came with one small battery so I wanted another battery. I opted for this 9.0Ah battery. This battery is a bit heavy but you don't need to charge it as often as the smaller batteries. I also plan on getting a cordless sawsall so I thought this would work great with that. On the battery itself, as with other Milwaukee batteries, there is a button to check the amount of power left in the battery. Like I said it is a bit heavy but to me its worth it.

Good Power Supply For Your Tools
I received this battery for free for the purposes of reviewing. I have the 5.0, 6.0, and 9.0 Ah batteries for my Milwaukee tools. The 5.0 and 6.0 Ah batteries are in the same case and weigh almost exactly the same. It looks like the 6.0 Ah might be a new product and I can't find pricing at this time. I'm not sure if it is a better buy than the 5.0 Ah battery. It also looks like you can find the batteries cheaper at other online sites, but be very careful to make sure you are getting the genuine batteries from Milwaukee. A poorly built battery pack could start a fire. The 6.0 Ah battery is a good size and weight. Giving sufficient performance. I would rather have 2 - 6.0 Ah batteries than one 9.0 Ah battery, so that I can work while the other charges. The 9.0 Ah battery is a little heavy. One nice feature about these batteries is that they have a built in charging level indicator. If you turn the batteries around while you charge, the progress indicator lights up and you can tell how close you are to being fully charged.

Impressive long lasting M18 battery pack
Milwaukee M18 18-Volt REDLITHIUM High Demand 9.0Ah Battery Pack is the largest one around. I've been using the 5.00Ah battery packs and this new one is about an inch taller, but is over twice the capacity. Its larger size is for really heavy duty tools Milwaukee is coming out with and still is backward compatible and fits my older tools, too. Obviously this big battery takes longer to fully change than my other ones, but then they run over twice as long at peak power. To be honest I'm happy with the smaller capacity one for my drills, but now have an SDS Rotary Hammer that runs better with the extra capacity. It took less an hour to fully charge the smaller battery and this larger one, over twice the size, charges in about one hour. For me this difference is negligible in how I use it as I always have a spare charged and ready to go when the first one's done. Aside from the capacity and size its the same battery. The ability to get a much bigger battery is a great idea to handle more demanding tools and from my experience using the smaller battery now for a year or so its a sold performer and worth having them in the workshop.

The M18 2 Battery pack that was purchased for the price was more than I expected. Building workbenches for interested parties is a breeze with no down time compared to my 1.5 Amp battery's. I can now make it a whole day with both 3 Amp batteries running most of the time. I strongly recommend this 2 battery pack to everyone.

    Good batteries and charger
his thing is encased in plastic which is really hard to get off. I cut off what I could but it was still really hard to open. Couldn’t you guys make it easier to open? These batteries don’t develop a “memory” so you don’t have to wait until they are fully discharged before you charge them up again. That is good. These batteries are said to last a lot longer than regular batteries and the other reviews seem to agree. I haven’t used mine enough yet to know. I’m glad it has holes in the back to mount it on the wall. That helps we keep all my chargers straight. If there are manufacturers out there reading this I have to say that I’m going off battery powered tools. I really like them but I have so many different batteries and so many different chargers now that I can’t keep track of them. I have over 12 different cordless tools and almost none of them have common batteries. I’m almost at the point that I’m going back to corded tools to keep my life simpler. Okay rant over! I will mark this down a bit because it is really expensive in my opinion.

    VERY POWERFUL!
As you can see in the photos this High Demand 9.0 is physically bigger. The smaller batteries weigh in around a pound and the 9.0 is little more than 2 ½ pounds, but if you need the power the 9.0 is the way to go. I used this battery in Milwaukee’s HACKZALL to cut some 2” X 6”s. I quickly made 30 cuts with this battery and it never even got warm. I started out with the battery fully charged and after 30 cuts the fuel gage showed the battery was at full charge. I am impressed this is the most powerful battery for cordless tools I have ever owned. This battery is protected from overheating and so shouldn’t shut off as other batteries do under heavy loads. The battery is listed as compatible with 100+ Milwaukee M18 tools. I had no trouble using the smaller M12 M18 charger #48-59-1812 to charge the battery.

    More Powerful
Well made, fairly light-weight, and packs a wallop! This is a 9.0 amp-hour battery, compared with a more typical 5.0Ah. The "fuel gauge" on the battery shows at a glance the percentage of power left in the battery. The actual time remaining will depend on the usage of the tool. Charge time can be anywhere from 30 to 100 minutes, depending on temperature and other factors. The new battery that I received was showing one light on the fuel gauge. It was fully charged in about 30 minutes. After drilling a couple of holes in concrete, the battery is still showing a full charge.

Massive battery with power to match
This battery is significantly larger and heavier than the other XC batteries I have, I estimate about 50% larger just by looking at them side by side. However, it still fits and seems to balance nicely on all of my M18 tools (I've used it on the jig saw and circular saw primarily, and a bit with the hammer drill as well). I found it really makes a difference in applications where I'd previously run out of battery or couldn't power through a cut due to friction from the blade (this happened a number of times with the circular saw cutting 2 x10s and 2x12s). This thing just powers right through those cuts. If you've got some of the M18 tools that recommend only using the XC batteries (like, again, the circular saw), you may find these batteries useful and worth it. Note that, because they are higher capacity than previous batteries, they will also take longer to charge with the regular charger. Milwaukee has come out with a rapid charger that will charge this, and other M18 and M12 batteries, faster than the original charger. I'd highly recommend this charger, particularly if you find yourself having downtime because you've used all the available batteries and are waiting for them to charge. Home Depot sells this battery in a kit with the rapid charger, I assume you can probably save a little money buying the kit over buying them separately.

Powerful as advertised, Big n Heavy too
OVERALL: Big powerful battery, at least plus 50% over 4.0Ah. Significantly better than the 4.0. Size and weight difference were noticeable on drill, less on SDS hammer. Wont fit in many hard cases. POWER: The 50% more than 4.0Ah seems to hold true, maybe more since my 4.0Ah are several years old. Heck of a lot easier than carrying my spare battery. SIZE: Longer and wider by about a half inch. It will not fit in an of the hard cases I have, not the end of the world but worth note. Works with all tools I have, but might not with older close compartment tools.

Great for working on small overhead projects.
Great for working on small overhead projects, much lighter than my heavy duty XC 5.0 battery. The price is a little steep but I have some physical issues with my elbows and I was able to get more done with the decreased weight.

Impressive runtime and power for the M18 Fuel line of tools
There are a few brands I am biased towards, and Milwaukee is one of them. From everything I've seen the M18 Fuel line of tools are built for durability and long life, and I've never had a Milwaukee tool fail on me. This quality extends to the batteries as well, and this new 9.0 Ah battery simply adds to the line. These batteries will work on any M18 tool, but are especially useful for tools that use extra power (like saws or drilling with large bits) where you want maximum runtime. The only real downsides to this battery are that it is larger, heaver, and costs more than the smaller batteries. On my scale my old XC 5.0 battery (5.0 Ah) weighs in at 1 lb. 10.6 oz. By comparison, this 9.0 Ah battery weighs in at 2 lb. 6.7 oz (about 3/4 of a lb. more). Because of this I will likely stick with the smaller XC 5.0 batteries for jobs where weight is noticeable (like working above my head), but these 9.0 Ah batteries will be great for applications where I used to consider getting out a corded tool. Note that while these batteries are compatible with all M18 chargers, Milwaukee now makes a rapid charger than can put out 6.0A at 18V (compared to the 3.0A put out by the charger that came with my XC 5.0 batteries). So if charging time is important, you may want to think about a charger upgrade. (Milwaukee also sells a starter kit with this battery and a rapid charger, so look for that if you want both.)

    9 cranking amps
I ordered this battery from homdepot and what a battery for run time on many devices example it ran my m18 flood light in high mode for 5 hours 33 minutes minutes and on m18 job site fan 6hours 3 minutes also the in high mode. This great battery ran m18 circular saw. This Battery is thermally cool on high drain m18 tools like the m18 sawzall, m18 rotary hammer, m18 impact driver and hammer drill But battery did have some challenges such as fitting into some m18 tool cases and on job site fan battery mount rested on level with the bottom of fan other then these it's a really great battery

Extended Runtime for Power Intensive Milwaukee Tools
I have a lot of Milwaukee Cordless Tools and have anxiously awaited the arrival of the new XC5.0 Red Lithium Battery. It produces 20% more runtime than the XC4.0 Battery, yet is the same size and about the same weight. The XC5.0 Lithium Battery is ideal for contractors using power intensive cordless tools such as circular saws, sawzalls and hammer drills. After using the new XC5.0 Battery for several weeks, I am very impressed with its performance. The only minor negative is it takes over an hour to charge a depleted battery to full capacity. Highly recommended for all contractors or do-it-yourself users using compatible power intensive Milwaukee Cordless Tools.

    Longer runtime
I wanted a second battery for my M18 Hole Hawg 1/2 in. Right Angle Drill which shipped with a 4Ah battery. While checking Home Depot's website I noticed that the 4Ah and 5Ah were currently the same price and appear to be the same size and weight. That seems strange to me but who am I to argue… I'll take the 5Ah. It arrived partially charged so I juiced it up to full power. The blister pack is nearly impossible to open. I don't notice any increase in power but there is a noticeable increase in runtime. If you need to replace a dead battery, or just want a backup, this 5Ah seems like the natural choice.

    Very versatile work light!
This is an extremely versatile work light! It combines excellent lighting performance with amazing battery life due to the M18 XC extended battery pack. I love that the light output swivels from a 90 to 180 degree angle which allows for the light to be set down and aimed wherever you need it. It also has a built in utility hook that flips out of the handle when needed. The XC 4Ah extended capacity battery pack works with many other Milwaukee tools and features a pretty convenient little charge indicator right on the battery that can be triggered with the press of a button.

    Simple and Powerful, Great Value
OVERALL: Simple and powerful light, great battery. Bright enough to use as a spotlight, strong enough for detail work in dark areas. Battery interchangeable with all M18 tools. LIGHT: Did a night test, lit up the night to 30 feet at a very bright level, 100 feet lit dimly. Extremely bright up close. A little heavy carrying it around (compared to compact lights) but ok. ROTATION: The head flexes over 135 degrees. That pretty much covers any angle you could want while hanging or sitting on the ground. FEATURES: A hanger on the back of the light is about it. No adjustments on light focus or power level, but less moving parts means more less to break or get dirt stuck in. BATTERY: These extra light batteries can power my impact driver all day, work with any M18 tool. Running the light for half an hour hardly dented the battery. The battery makes this a great deal, almost worth the price by itself.
