I use this to complete customer products in my woodshop. Bright LED to light up my work piece for great visibility, crystal clear dust covers seal the router base and provide excellent dust extraction, 6 speed settings, plenty of power, extremely quiet and low vibration. Optional plunge and fixed bases are available to expand on the tools capabilities. I enjoy working with this tool, i'd recommend to anyone!

Awesome tool, amazing power for it's size and super quiet motor

Great little router, broke it in doing 1/4” deep v grooves in 1/2” MDF. They were on 6” centers and one battery would do 2 full sheets. I was impressed, plenty of power.

Powerful, precise and easy to use. We bought one for a university design woodshop and have quickly bought another three to replace our older chorded palm routers. Very pleased with these.

Compact design makes it easy to keep control. The fine tune adjustable head is a great accessory. I dont do wood working projects often but, this thing with new blades cuts like hit knife through butter and its easy to handle.

Way more than I could have expected! Great improvement to my 40 year old B&D fixed base, corded router!! The best feature, in my opinion, is the sawdust collection adapter!! My wood work shop is in my basement and I was spending at least 15 to 20 minutes of vacuuming clean up after using the old router. The Milwaukee compact cordless router with the dust collection adapter and a regular shop vac eliminated ALL sawdust !!!! Amazing little tool! Much quieter than the old router as well !!

The four star review is because of the following. I also purchased the offset base, and when using that attachment you must have a thicker base. Or you have no room for depth adjustment of your bit.

The Milwaukee M18/M12 charger is small but mighty. Packs a pinch. Great for all my battery Milwaukee tools!

Literally just used it for the first time 20 minutes ago on some knotted redwood. Did a cove and bead cut and lots of power. Did not skip a beat. Cut through the knots and came out a perfect cut. Wonderful tool for my collection.

I can't say enough great things about this. I'm new to woodworking and wanted a super easy way to cut dados and rabbets, among other things. A table saw was a bit much for me, and my miter saw is nice but it doesn't have a slide or the option to stop the blade from going all the way in. So, I decided on this and man did I luck out. First of all, super compact, extremely comfortable, easy to use and very, VERY powerful when using a 5AH battery. I use a 2AH most of the time and even that is enough for small projects. The adjustment for macro and micro is extremely easy, and it is ROCK solid and stays in place once you set it up. There is ZERO movement when the adjustment is locked in, and that makes for a great cut. Run time is good, even on a smaller battery. Two LEDs make it easy to see where you're cutting and I like that there is a dust management accessory included in the box. It would be nice to get a free bit from Milwaukee in the box, since it IS well over $200 regularly, and at the moment just under $200. As I said though, I lucked out as a very friendly manager was able to give me a few bucks off an open box, which was the last one left in the store. Thank you for doing that, you are awesome (manager at Yorkdale location). Overall this is awesome, I will include some photos. I love using it, and can't wait to get it into my hands and do something with it. Even if all I did was mindlessly cut dados all day, I would STILL enjoy using this router. Get one.

This thing has power compared to my ryobi and smaller too

Great router. Easy to hold and see what you are routing. The edge guide leaves a little to be desired as it doesn't hold very well. It's hard to tighten the screw pin and eventually comes loose. Maybe need a better screw pin or design. But overall I've been pleased with it.

for making cutting boards, best investment. Used many corded routers and threw all of them in the garbage. They were not user friendly.

Versatile and lightweight. Has plenty of power, goes great in the M18 arsenal.

One of the best purchases I've made lately. This router really performs, and does exactly what it was intended to do. The controls are well placed, the micro adjustment is awesome and I have to say, the optional plunge router adapter is a true plus. Since my purchase I actually turn to projects where I can use my router rather than ones that don't require it. It works so well, I enjoy using it for as much as I can. I would definitely recommend trying this router out, I highly doubt you'll regret it.

Love that is battery operated, no cord to worry about. Very powerful but not hard to handle.

Great power, easy to use. Grip is starting to peel off a bit. Which is disappointing as a light router user, also considering the cost.
