Needed this adapter to connect to a CPVC (not PVC) section -- worked great.

I bought this to connect to CPVC orange 1" sprinkler pipe, it does not fit , the opening is around 1.1" and needs to be almost 1.3" to work, I don't know if there is some kind of other CPVC pipe that is smaller, but my orange pipe does not fit it.

Quality manufacturing. Good price. I have used these on all my installations and have never had an issue.

If you plan to use with a washer type seal on the female side make sure you look at the end and make sure there are no imperfections

Used this for installing a hot water heater. So far works great.

I actually didn’t end up using this part, but it is now in my toolbox for the next time. I did however end up using several other parts from the same manufacturer and they all worked out well. Tight fitting, good bond with the glue and most importantly no leaks when complete.

I would like to say the young gentleman was awesome in helping me get what was needed for me to install my Hot Water Heater. I'm sorry I neglected to get his name but Home Depot should be proud! You should also be proud of the woman who helped with the purchase of the Hot Water Heater and we'll as a new fridge. I was only able to find her Sales Person Number on our receipt. I was going to write a review on her when we got home.
