The brick that changed everything
The authentic appearance of this brick is truly remarkable. They capture the essence of traditional brickwork, showcasing the natural textures, colors, and variations that make each brick unique. The thin profile of these tiles allows for easy installation and ensures a seamless, flush finish that resembles the look of full-sized bricks. Obsessed!! Completely transformed our sunroom. We used antique white grout to finish it out.

      Beautiful all over!
It is a learning curve on the grouting part but it was so worth it!! Definitely needed finish nails to do the backsplash to hold break together. Used antique white grout.

        Brick Backsplash re-do
I recommend this product only if you have a professional to install it. I hired a handyman last year and it was a disaster! He removed bricks from the netting, didn’t use spacers, bought the wrong grout which absorbed into the bricks and created a huge mess! I then hired a contractor who cut the drywall out to start the project again. He used a laser leveler, and real mortar, not tile grout! We then white washed the finished project to give the gray grout and red brick a softer look. I love it!

Castlegate brickwebb with just SAND brick mortar.
My family and I did this in a condo renovation. We Loctite it directly to the drywall and put in some 2 inch finishing nails to stabilize while it set. Had to use a tile saw to cut end pieces. Mortared it with the piping bag and smeared the mortar all over the front (wanted it to look old) when done I didn't like all the haze on it so I went back over it with a tile dehazer and love the finished product. In hindsite I would just be more careful with the mortar so I would have less work.

I love this backsplash. I've had all kinds of compliments on it, many from contractors working on other projects in my home.

I didn't personally install the brickface that I purchased but, as YT videos show, it is easy to install. Any standard mastic can hold the mesh w/bricks. Be sure to use a fine grain mortar for the joints. Also. make sure that your electrical outlets are well placed and stick out more than usual due to the added thickness of your new facing/backsplash. The look is phenomenal. It gives the rustic appearance that you want. Don't forget to use a good quality sealer after the mortar dries (if it's a backsplash). Cutting the brick with a hand-held diamond cutter for the hood and stove to fit was messy indoors but, we got over that since it looks so good.

I stumbled upon this product while searching for backslpashes on line. It was the missing piece to our remodeling project. Easy to install and just like real brick because it is. We've had it for two years and it is lasting well. Visitors always go WOW. We likenit so much much we just installed a faux electric fireplace using it.

              Kitchen Floor (Columbia Street)
We had a contractor install brickwebb (Columbia Street) we purchased from HomeDepot for our kitchen remodel. Used special grout that they recommend for floor application. Looks amazing, couldnt be happier. The white grout color really made the brick color "pop" which is great given the really light pallet color of everything else in kitchen.

Great bricks and colors, but bricks are not straight
We love how our backsplash turned out with Boston Mill color and white grout. Brick seems great quality. However, the sheets almost took more time than doing individual bricks because a lot of bricks were quite crooked. I had to tear those ones off and stick them back on straight. Plus the mesh could get in the way sometimes.

This brick is amazing. I used their recommended adhesive and it went up effortlessly. I opted to do a 1/2 bath with it going from the floor to roughly 24" high. After the mortar, I got more compliments on my bathroom than any other project I've done.

I think the brick is really nice and it's good quality material. But the web feature really didn't work for me. We were installing a kitchen backsplash so we had a decent length we were working with but only about 18 inches of height , so that was essentially a sheet of 4 and a partial sheet of 3 bricks to make the 18 inches. I had this vision of just tearing through this project because we would be putting up 12 bricks at a time and I had calculated we would need 20 to 25 sheets to get this done. The problem was that the bricks on the web sheet weren't spaced evenly or sometimes weren't straight across the bottom or top and we were working in such a small space there wasn't really room for that kind of randomness. Had we been doing a full wall it would have probably all worked out, but as it was we ended up pulling off a lot of the bricks or installing them in strips of 3 in order to be able to control the gaps. For this project we would still recommend the thin bricks as they look really good and are nice to work with, I probably just would have bought the loose bricks instead of dealing with the brickweb.

I used specifically the Castle Gate as I loved the variation of colors in the picture. When I took the actual product out of the box, I couldn't have been more happy with it as it was EXACTLY what I was looking for! I did one wall in the wet bar downstairs to give it more of a Chicago pub vibe and also used it in my kitchen as a backsplash and above the cabinets to the ceiling to help set my kitchen off from the great room and to give it a more rustic appearance. It is very easy to apply...we did use screws under the top row to ensure the brick web wouldn't slip out of position. The only tedious part is applying the grout. If you're using the brick for the kitchen, don't forget to treat it afterward to avoid grease soaking into it...just a little FYI.

Brickweb is a truly fine product. It came packaged very well ... not one chip or crack in two boxes. It is very easy to install and because of the natural imperfections of brick, I really don't think you could make this look like it was not done well. It came out beautifully! I used regular sanded tile grout because I wanted a specific color. The only reason I didn't go five stars is that it can be a little tricky to cut. We used a grinder with a diamond tip blade as suggested, but had to get a few thin trim pieces cut on a tile saw ... no biggie.

We did a complete remodel of our outdated kitchen. When we started, we knew we needed to pick out a back-splash type of material, but never thought brick. Then, as the project moved along, I happened to stumble upon the Brickweb product on the HomeDepot.com site, and knew almost immediately that was the winner. The idea of a brick wall as the focal point of our kitchen was perhaps one of the best ideas of the entire kitchen remodel. The install was fairly easy with the mesh on the back. Once up and grouted into place, we sealed it and called it a day. The size of our wall and back splash warranted this to be a nearly 3 day project, but it was worth it. The Brickweb Castle Gate wall is, by far, the focal point of our entire kitchen. Would recommend this to anyone with experience in putting up tiles or bricks as it was a bit more of a task than someone with no experience would want to handle.

This a helpful product. The project would have taken me much longer if it were necessary to place one brick at a time. In the attached picture all the brick is installed but the grout is not installed yet .
