I bought a 2 Outlet Advanced Orbit Hose Faucet Timer. It was professionally installed to run two dripper systems. It's been nothing but trouble. The installer returned to fix the issues, and it is now leaking. We had an internal error, and now leaking from the piping and that section of pipe must replaced. The installer installs these at different locations and reports trouble with them more often than not. I do not recommend the 2 Outlet Advanced Orbit Hose Faucet Timer.

I’ve used these timers for probably 10 years. When they had the old style. I’ve had a few fail over the years, but I called Orbit and they sent me a new one every time. Their customer service is great. You do have to keep them inside if it freezes. I always disconnect them and put in the shop during the winter. I leave the lines in place with screens in hose ends. I also make a list of which zone goes where. I am getting my 5th one to hook up tomorrow. Yes, I have the need to add a 5th one.

No good, it eats batteries and won't work once the battery gets low so you'll need to be changing the AA batteries weekly. After one season I took it out of the garage to set it up getting ready for spring and it won't even shut off anymore total waste of money. I have a DIG timer as well it has more options runs on a 9v battery that will last all summer and still working for season two so I'll be buying more of those this year..

The 2 outlets are on top each other's and extremely difficult to install underground.

Bought this product on July 6, 2021. Took it out of the box today July 8, 2021, set the timer for a test. Hooked it to a hose, turned on the water and water came out of one of the hose connections with the timer not even installed. Another road trip.

I bought one of these at Home Depot. It worked for about 7 months and then quit working. Upon investigation the metal connections between the control unit and the water distribution unit had all sorts of not repairable corrosion. Stupidly I bought another one. This one lasted 4 days before it stopped working. Nothing would get it start operating right and then ONE week later it also had massive corrosion on the metal connections. I assume this due to water but I don't know how to keep a unit that is supposed to be outside perfectly dry when it rains once a week here. This product will cause you grief and I don't recommend getting it.

I bought this product to keep constant moisture on my freshly seaded lawn. This worked great for about 24 hours until it failed while I was out of town. I came home to my backyard flooded, and the lawn seed fried in the 104° weather. I am not happy

I was super excited about this product, set it up for the lawn and garden beds worked great then suddenly stopped working. Turns out after use some corrosion occurred between the two pieces, see pic. Not worth the $50, Save your money.

I bought this at a retail Home Depot. Two out of the 4 outlets function. Outlets 1 and 4 will never turn on but at least they don't leak. Is there any quality control on this product? I'm going to have to say: No, these units are not tested until they are purchased and used by the consumer. Orbit should compensate me for the amount of time I have spent going to Home Depot, waiting in line to pay for the product, bringing it home and troubleshooting what I could possibly be doing wrong. This is absolute garbage.

Under the maximum PSI, and yet in less than four months, the internal joint on one of the two outlets has broken.

Leaked out od the box! Extremely disappointed with that product.

This is the second dual timer I’ve purchased. The single timer was great but added more garden beds. Twice now I’ve come home to a very flooded, soupy garden while the second zone is bone dry. Switched the timer to the off position and water was still coming out of soaker hoses. I turned off the water and disconnected the hose from timer. Still in “off” position, I turned on the water and it comes POURING out!! Never again!! This product is trash!

It has a flaw. Leaks water from inside. Only lasts one season. I took it apart and this is where it leaks from. Very disappointed.

This is actually a great product at the end of the day and I would definitely recommend buying. My only issue is the hose threads are made from plastic making it easy to cross thread. My fix was to install a quick disconnect so you are not constant twisting a hose on and off of it. I have had this for a few weeks now and it works perfect.

Extremely disappointed. First year, worked okay. Second year, electronic programming stopped working properly. This year, started leaking like a sieve. Should work longer than one season. Poor design, quality and/or manufacturing. Had to replace it. Won't buy anything Orbit again.

Compared with other 2-outlet timers, this one is very flexibility to setup for 2 outlets separately. The menu is not the most intuitive but manageable. The build quality is very poor, the first one broke after one season because of internal leak. Because I like the flexibility, I bought the 2nd one, and it has the same internal leak issue from the very first use. Very disappointed, could be a great product.

I have had this for about 45 days and water leaks in behind the timer and the contacts get shorted out. See that you may have found that since it is no longer carried. The old 4 hose unit lasted nearly 8 years.

I have purchase 2 of the single hose attachment, both of which shut down immediately after the device turns on. I lost a patio of plants assuming the device was functioning properly. One of the devices, if the hose is removed the water continues to flow, but once the hose is connected the water flows for about 3 seconds then shuts off; the next device, timer on water on, no water, if the timer is rotated around on the spigot then the water flows out the output again. It seems like pressure from the water is involved in the problem, but I'm not an expert I just know the timer is trash.

Have tried multiple times. Have reset. Have changed batteries. Everything. Water won’t stop after end time, just keeps watering. It’s set to water for 18 minutes and it’ll turn in by itself but doesn’t stop after the 18 minute mark. Just waters and waters until I turn the facet off. Super frustrating. Wished I’d read the reviews first.

I may have an older model, as I have owned it for about 3 years. The plastic and build quality is pretty decent, its been baking out in the Arizona sun for 3 years and still works. Contrary to what a lot of others are saying all 4 "stations" are independent. I think some may be confusing schedules "A","B" and "C" with stations. My biggest gripe is the 2 AAA batteries, they just don't last long enough. If they could redesign it to run on 4 AAs or add a small back up solar charger, something like that would be nice. I have had a few times where the system would start, and then run for hours because it does not have enough juice to shut it off. It has a battery indicator but I never check on it, you know out of sight out of mind. Maybe another type of low power indicator would be helpful like an audible warning.

Does a great job of providing timed watering for my lawn.

Example (A)4:45am(st1)-3mins/(st2)-5mins/ect * set every day ** set every other day I change 3,4 to every day with Temps above 90°s, aswell as increase duration. I bought this because it had outlets for 4 watering zones. I can only water one at a time because I don’t have enough water pressure to run more than one at a time. It only allows you to program 3 times. So this effectively only has 3 useable outlets. Why can’t you at least have 4 programmable times (1 for each outlet)????? Also... I have had the thing for about 40 minutes now and right from the point I turned it on to test its functions, the thing is leaking from somewhere inside the unit.

I have had three of these products. The first one started leaking internally from the second outlet. I was hoping it was just a bad part and tried two more. Each one had the same problem.

I was suspicious when I opened the package, it appeared that already opened instrument was re-packaged and even the packaging was not completely new. See picture on the remains from older packaging while the outer packaging had split open clean on both sides. I anyway went ahead and connected it to a faucet and set station 1 to start it in 5 minutes with nothing connected ot the outlet - it worked fine. I then connected it to a soaker hose and set it for water the next morning at 6. At 10 i went out and it was still watering with dial showing next start time, I switched the station on and off couple of times to get it to turn off. I setup the whole timer again - tested with station 1 open - it worked fine. I connected it back to the soaker hose and next time again it started on time but did not turn off. It appears that its not able to turn off when there is back pressure at the outlet. I had to go out for a week so will return this back to home depot once I am back. Meanwhile i have left my garden to survive on the previous floods created by this timer.

Junk. Station 1 valve gets stuck open and won’t turn off

I liked this thing a lot for about a year, but now it's broken. - Display no longer fully works - Manual mode is intermittently functional Instead of this one, spend $5 more and get the Melnor... or come back next year and spend $55 for it when this one breaks.

I bought this product last summer after my old one (from a different manufacturer and discontinued) died after 15 years. I was very happy with it through the rest of the season and would have rated it 5 stars based on that small sample time. I took it out of storage today to set it up for this season. Once I had it attached to the faucet I turned on the water and got a deluge of water leaking out of the unit from underneath the piece that screws onto the faucet. It was not leaking through the threads of the screw on part but from undet neath (see arrow in picture). A leak this big deems the unit useless as water was going everywhere. A failure this big less than a year after purchase when it had been used for half a season is inexcusable.

As I saw in other reviews. This timer leaks quite a lot. One spot is a little hole in the bottom between the two hose attachment sites. The others seem to be on the side seams. Appears to be a poor design. Too bad because the timer appeared to work really well. I will return it and probably not get another.
