You will need to wear a swimsuit and flip flops when using
Water and fertilizer gushes out everywhere. So wasteful and annoying! Your hands do Not stay dry. Neither do your clothes and shoes.

Warranty, what warranty
I have bought 5 dial n spray in my lifetime and they all seem to only last about 5 years. I make sure they are clean with water after every use. So I thought I would buy this unit again but only to go to the warranty web page that does not exist. Pic of last one I bought, as you can see very clean. Hope this new unit will work out better. Not happy you can Not sign up for a warranty

The Weight Reacts To Any Solution
From Essential Oils, (Lavender Oil - For Rinsing My Great Danes). To Insecticides, ( For The Lawn ) - To Dawn Dish Liquid ( I Use To Wash My Great Danes) The Metal Weight In The Ortho Jar Reacts And Turns To Rust. It Also Turns Any Solution I Use Dark. This Is So Annoying. I Prefer The Old Ortho Sprayer. It Has No Metal Weight Inside. Today I Purchased Another One in Hopes That The Metal Weight Inside The Container Is A Stainless Steel One. We'll See.. Why I would Buy Another Ortho Sprayer You May Ask? In Hopes It Is Stainless Steel, And It's The Only Sprayer On The Market Besides The Chameleon And That in Itself Is TOO EXTRA!!! Too Many Parts..

I should have learned- then again I hoped for improvements or maybe I just had a lemon in the past.
I stayed away from this product for probably two years because the last two literally exploded in my hands. Guess what happened with my recent purchase?
It didn’t ‘explode’ yet, but when I push the trigger water is shooting out from the handle, the trigger- everywhere. It only worked for a few minutes and I was really hopeful but this lasted not very long.
It is very, very frustrating as ‘in principle’ this is a very useful product!
Would happily pay double or triple if it would just work....

Used it to spray herbacide. It was easy to use and this product is sturdier and better made than the chameleon, wich it was convinient with the adaptable hose end but broke easily.

Product works good water pressure could be higher dispenses chemicals and bug repellent properly does everything it's supposed to do it's nice and clean and doesn't get any chemicals on your hand everything seems to work good I recommend it for anybody that needs this application for outdoors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sprayer is the best I have ever had I use it with a little soap and get to hard to get to windows. you can take any products fill the canister set the amount to 01 oz. or what ever the direction calls for and what ever the insecticide, or weed killer when your done pour it back in the container and your done. But the best is yet to come you can buy the Ortho weed killer concentrate and check for the right bottle and hook the sprayer on top and spray away the weeds. I love it this feel like a very well made sprayer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dial in sprayer comes assembled and ready for use. Just open the container, and pour your concentrate liquid into it. You can use this for weed control or pest control.
Now depending on what you are using this for, make sure you follow the manufacturer's application guide for the rate at which the chemical is to be applied. Usually this is found on the concentrate bottle itself. I am using this sprayer with the Weed B Gon product, and for southern lawns, it specifies setting the sprayer to 1 oz. You simply rotate the dial to 1oz and connect it to a hose, set the spray pattern on the front, and pull the trigger to begin spraying.
This sprayer helps apply the product quickly and easily. Whatever concentrate you are left with, just pour it back in the bottle. Can't get any simpler. Overall a good product for the DIYers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that i can attach right onto hose or it can be attached onto bottle of concentrate. Awesome device making it easy to distribute your yard chemicals. Sturdy and thick plastic, making it last longer.

Do not buy this product it is defective. I've had it for just a few months. As the instructions say, I filled the sprayer with a concentrate of Ortho Fungicide for roses. It diluted and sprayed Ok. After leaving the fungicide in the container for a couple of hours, I began pouring the concentrate back into the original fungicide container. At the bottom of the spray container the filter had separated from the hose. The hose had swollen and turned to jello. Obviously whatever the plastic tubing is made of is not compatible with some or all Ortho branded concentrates. Unless you are a better chemist than I am you need to read label and figure out compatibility, or call Ortho to make sure what you want to spray doesn't dissolve the filler/feeder hose. Ortho's warranty is also unfair and inconvenient. They're having me mail the spray head to them and then they refund me. Not a great deal if I have to package and pay for shipping and go to the post office due to their poorly designed product. Why not just have me email a picture of the mess and send me a coupon for free replacement or a check. I guess Orthos strategy is to make it as inconvenient as possible so you don't bother returning defective products.
