did not get what i ordered. reordered and got the same product. not even close to picture i ordered from

2 out of 4 stringers ordered were damaged. One bottom stem was completely broken off the other had a large crack that made it unusable

It's what I ordered. It fits. It came relatively quickly.

Across several online orders, fully 50% of the stringers were unusable because of large multiple splits. 15% arrived with a stair already completely broken off. They're obviously sending their worst pieces for online orders because they know you're not going to go through the hassle of returning them. I would advise only buying these in-store, so that you can inspect them.

I had to order 9 of these, across 4 consecutive separate orders, just to get 4.5 boards good enough to use. That is an atrocious hit rate. 2 arrived with a step completely split off, and 3 others had huge cracks along entire board's length, one of which I'm going to have to use. Just unreal. Good tradesmen know that you have to go pick out your wood personally, but the closest Home Depot is 100 miles from me, so I took my chances ordering online. Big mistake. Avoid ProWood at all costs.

I had these shipped to the store. Boxes were in good shape but when I opened them up they didn’t look anything like the one in the picture. I brought 3 of them, one was broken and all 3 were cut about 1/4” different. They also have a circle cut where the riser and run meet, I’m guessing that is done so they can quickly cut these. I returned all 3 and ended up buying 2x12’s and cutting my own.

The stair stingers worked perfectly. We ordered 3 but only needed 2. The new stairway is very sturdy and comfortable stepping distance. It provides a great outside entry to our new addition.

Buying these guys pre-made saved me so much time on my stair project; I ended up buying four to meet code for space between the stringers. The wood on each was well-cut (all four matched each other perfectly) and solid. I decided to apply some epoxy resin to the cut edges for added projection, then painted each with acrylic paint to match the rest of the house. Overall, I was very happy with the product and would definitely buy it again.

Looked good but they were warped badly

Solid, sturdy, and not wet which should help prevent warping. I bought 4 and each one came wrapped individually in cardboard and arrived in good condition.

Two of the stringers had a little warpage but not that bad. A little expensive but certainly worth not having to cut them my self.

One of the stringers had a significant crack.

These stringers worked fine. I was pleased that they did not have any noticable cracks etc... and they took a stain pretty well.
