Deceptive packaging
This product is packaged with less than half a standard caulk tube of product. The plunger is longer than half the tube. Very deceptive packaging. I complained to Quickrete and was given a full refund which I used to buy more product from the competitor to complete my project

After searching the hardware stores - looking for a fail safe method for re-attaching a bolt into a rock fence.- I selected this product. My only warning is, if applying this on a warm day, it is going to run like gravy so be prepared. I waited to write a review, giving it plenty of time for it to harden before passing judgement. It worked great and I would recommend this to anyone. Very satisfied.

Works great - bad reviews are wrong!
Ok used this and it did great. Strong hold and easy to use. 1 tube did 9 3/4” holes that were drilled 5” in with 5/8” threaded shank inserted into the holes. For the nay sayers calling out only getting 5oz- did you weigh the tube? I did and got 10oz of product from both that I used. The plunger only goes half way as stated by Quikcrete on its web site. Something to do with the epoxy but it’s clearly stated that’s how it works!

My front porch railings were very loose. This product was easy to use and did a FANTASTIC job anchoring the railings. I'm buying this again for other jobs around the house.

      Incorrect volume on label.
This tube only has 5 fluid ounces, not the stated 8.6 fluid ounces. Because of this I needed more tubes than originally planned, meaning more money. Internal plunger bottoms out halfway down the tube

        Excellent product
Used this to re-set/anchor a railing. Cleaned out the holes. The tube mixing system is genius and ot worked flawlessly. This expoxy set hard as a rock. Really a terricic product.

Used to anchor a Screw Eye fastener to a rock. The fastener is solidly anchored to the rock. Note however that removable tip is single use as you cannot remove the epoxy from it. You can buy replacement tips so as to use the remainder of the tube at a later time.

I used it to help anchor some 3/4" ID black iron pipe in a block wall for a trellis (to train pear trees to grow horizontally) I was building. I used a 1" hammer drill bit, and had to drive the pipe in the holes with a 2lb hammer, so I'm not really sure how much the epoxy was even needed, but it can't hurt I guess. One thing to note is you only get slightly over 1/2 the tube.....unlike a tube of caulk. First tube, I thought something had jammed inside when it stopped dead just past the 1/2way point....but the second tube did the same thing, so I guess you only get 1/2 of the tube as contents. The internal plunger must take up a bunch of room in the tube. Take that into consideration when buying or you might run short.

This product works great if you follow a few rules: 1) Check experation date (mine was dated 1 year later after I bought it) 2) Clean the holes thoroughly (I blew it out and vacuumed many times) 3) Clean the studs 4) Squeeze out some epoxy until its a solid gray which shows its mixed 5) Fill hole about 3/4 of the way (you will get a good idea how much you need so it doesn't burst out the top) 6) Push the stud in and move up and down and rotate to remove air bubbles and push epoxy into the threads and everywhere else. 7) Leave it alone for 24hrs (I know its hard to not mess with your project, but leave it alone!) I used this for attaching my Sunjoy Gazebo to my concrete patio (actually had to lift it so it went into Simpson post attachments). It is holding great. I would recommend this. It was 60F and I had about 20-30min of set time. Get the Sika brand if you need it to cure quick!

Does Not Contain Its Full Amount of 8.6 fluid ounces
Regarding Product # 8620-31 High Strength Anchoring Epoxy. I have bought many of these epoxies from Home Depot. I finally got an answer to my question of "why is the plunger only going half way into the tube and no more product comes out?". I thought it was due to the product drying out and hardening. Just today, November 24, 2015, I took the time to cut off the top of one of the empty cartridges and found a large plunger being used that took up ALMOST HALF of the the cartridge length. I put back the plunger into the tube and pushed it into its original position at the bottom of the tube. There are dimples set on the tube to prevent the plunger from coming out the back. At this "start" location, I poured in liquid one ounce at a time, measured it, and it only took about 4-3/4 ounces to fill the tube to the top. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!!? This cartridge size holds about 10.1 ounces of basic caulking/silicone. I know that the two-part epoxy has to be kept separate until used so I thought that is why the slight reduction of 1.5 ounces of material in the tube. (10.1 compared to 8.6). All the 10.1 ounces cartridges I have used has its plunger pushed to the top of the tube when empty. This product stops at the middle for the reason I have mentioned... That OVER-SIZED PLUNGER! I have also contacted Quikrete on this issue.

I used it for repairing a railing. Once the epoxy is cured, the bonding is very strong. I am very satisfied with the result.

I used this to stabilize a curtain rod mount in brick that was crumbling. This worked like a charm and has shown no sign of giving way over the last two weeks. You need a 10oz caulk gun for this tube. I only wish you could buy more applicators, since they are one-use and I have plenty product left over I'll have use for later, and using it without an applicator will be a pain.
