This is a really nice trim router. Easy to use and compact too!

There is a lot to like about this router however, what good is a tool that doesn't deliver? I was initially impressed with this router but after a brief stint it was rendered useless. The collet no longer provide a firm grip of the router bit. The surface area of the collet that provide the grip is so small, no wonder it fails. I am about to buys some replacement collets but seriously doubt the result will be any different. Please redesign the collet!

Ruined a $140 piece of cherry plywood trying to cut shallow dados with this thing. The collet would not hold the router bit which repeatedly came loose. Don't waste you money. Buy a Bosch Colt.

I took it back to the store for a refund. The directions for it were so vague. I do like that they offer a lifetime guarantee, however, they need directions with pictures.

Great addition to the shop tools. This brand is priced decent and have nice quality. I would buy this brand any day. We have several and haven't had any problems thus far

ITS FOR A SMALL JOB SO IS GOOD ENOUGH

I used this router for the first time this week to round over some 1x2’ for a cap moulding. When I set the depth and it would work fine then for the next board by the time I was on the second side the depth of cut changed ruining my trim piece. This happened multiple time before I could figure out what was going on. I eventually had to adjust the depth after every pass.

It has worked great for the jobs I have used it on, I like the small size and the fine adjustment,

I have always been a big Rigid fan, but I got a lemon with this Router. It has some nice features and balances well but it died in the first year and it's hole is not large enough for 1/2" roundover bits.

While this router is very compact and easy to handle, I've now had two fail after not very much use. The first I had not registered so they wouldn't do anything. I bought another one, used it a couple of times and when I recently pulled it out of storage to use it it would not start. I registered this one so we'll see how the "lifetime warranty" works for that. Regardless, with a 2/2 failure rate I can't really recommend it.

I've had one for over 3 years. I do high relief carving and use it for hours at a time. It's small, light and easy to maneuver.

Did the job I needed done

All of the trim routers I looked at seemed mostly the same, varying a little bit on power but not much.There was a Milwaukee sales man there who talked to me about the routers. He convinced me that with the lifetime warranty I couldn’t go wrong. Smart sales guy! I bought it and it’s terrific!! It’s easy to use and easy to learn how to use it. It’s weighted just right and very powerful.

Works great was able to do just what I wanted to do with trimmer and 45 degree bit. Did a nice job. Had to get use to using one hand versus two with bigger routers.

Easy to use lots of power works great

I’d rate 4 stars - maybe 5 if it continues to perform well - bought recently - used for overhead routing to place channels in ceiling for glass. Router relatively easy to control - height easy to adjust - bit easy to install - prefer this corded model over battery powered. - hopefully will last longer than it takes for battery to become obsolete.

I found the macro adjust very hard to do, quite a hassle. Its almost impossible to do micro adjust as the wheel is too recessed in the tool. It is very difficult to change bits as the access to the collet is very tight. There is no way to connect to connect to dust control such as a shop vac. The on off switch is in an unsafe position as it is hard to access whithout taking your hand off the tool or the project. TOO HOT TO HOLD very quickly, maybe I got a bad one. PLUS: comes with accessories, height adjust lock lever is very strong, its easy to hold (of course it would have to be as its a small tool), soft start is GREAT. I have another small router that is very hard to hold on to when it starts so I know the value of soft start. Has a flat top to help with bit changes. Summary: spend more and get a better router.

The one I bought stops frequently. It overheats in seconds. It could be that is was damaged or it possible the motor is too small

Doesn't hold depth well

Perfect size and features for my countertop needs. Even came with a bit for laminate trimming.
