Has very good power, the trigger lock is a bit awkward when working with one hand, but overall a very handy tool to have around our place.

Bought this for my wife and she loves it. It’s light enough to operate with a longer reach to get at the deeper and higher branches. Great deal with the battery and charger.

Yes met expectations. Makes cutting larger branches easy. Good buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tool for pruning low hanging branches around he yard. It's so easy to use that even my 80 yr old mother has used it and Loves it for cutting branches too large for her to drag to a pile for pickup.

Great tool! I'm in my 70's and disabled, but I find this took priceless in my efforts to keep back the woods from encroaching on my 625' driveway up to the house! Also, on 16 acres trimming back branches and saplings and small pines that keep trying to take over the lawn. It's power to "LOP OFF" branches up to 1 1/4" is amazing even on hardwood like oak. Trimming pine is like a hot knife through butter! I would refer this item to anyone who wants it for a similar use.

Works great! The extra length makes trimming easier.

As with all of my RYOBI "toys" that I've purchased, the lopper makes jobs so much easier and quicker. So much so that my problem is getting rid of so much cuttings - making them into smaller, manageable, size to fit into the green bin. But, the lopper helps here as well. Maybe I'll get the pruner next!

This tool is just right to cut fresh saplings and branches to keep the woods back where they belong! Very easy to handle and operate and it bites off a good sized trunk or branch during this use. It's also handy for trimming shrubs around the house itself. I'm in my 70's and somewhat disabled with mobility issues, needing a cane to walk...so again, it's a great size and easy to handle tool for my use.

I've had this tool about a year.It was a great tool until recently when it started to intermittently not return to open.No problem it has a 3 year warranty I thought.I contacted Ryobi and they said I had to take it to an authorized repair place to have it evaluated.One problem, even though I live in the largest city in New Mexico there are only 2 such centers and they are both 200 miles away in much smaller cities. How convenient for Ryobi, a clever trick to never have to backup your warranty.

This tool is a must have. It saves our hands. We wouldn't be without it

ease of maneuvering through dense brush. almost as fast as regular lopper. much less muscle stress

I call it the jaws, this thing works great and real easy on the battery as well.

I purchased this to cut down on my time on yard work. Well done! It does exactly what it says it will do. I cut my bushes, limbs, and vines with ease. I could not out last the battery. The length of the unit assisted with getting to the back of the bushes and kept me out of trouble and injury. This is a great tool and Ryobi had what I needed.

The battery would not work. I returned the battery to the Albany GA store but they said that I have to return the set since it came together. I have another battery that works just fine in the loppers. So I have not returned the loppers and charger.

Would be nice to have a wider throat and telescopic feature. The safety lock is literally a pain. Started forming a Hotspot on my finger. I am happy (not very happy) with my purchase.

Love this tool. Yes it’s big and heavy for it’s use case, but I find it to be one of the more fun and useful tools I have. Way more powerful than a manual looper or shears, and way safer on small branches than a saw. Super useful when on a ladder or in tree. Can cut through inch branch in second.

Stopped working after an hour or two of light use. Returned it.

Good idea but cycle time from when trigger is pulled and cut is complete is way too long. The thumb safety switch is very awkward and tiring. Many DIYer's will probably try to defeat the switch. Blade alloy is not very good...it is showing a lot of wear after just one or two days of use. These things cost the review at least two stars.

This has tool has cute everything I needed with no problem. My neighbor even borrows it now. Great buy.
