Rain Bird is the Best
The Rain Bird pop up sprinklers are considered the number one selling sprinkler in the word. I agree and my yard is proof. The 1800 series are easy to install (no tools required) and come in adjustable patterns. For example, 0-360 degree covering up to 15 feet; 180 degrees, covering up to 15 feet. All the directions you need are described on the unit itself in a step by step format.

Terrific PopUp
My lawn has Rain Bird in every zone. It has been referenced as the number one commercial grade spray brand in the world. I agree and they are all I use. They have a mesh filter screen that prevents the nozzle from clogging. The tapered pop up neck helps to provide retraction in all different soil. This 1800 series are made with heavy duty stainless steel springs that assure flush retraction every time they are used. In addition, the plastic is non-corrosive with stainless steel construction. All are adjustable.

Great sprinkler- pattern not adjustable
These are quality sprinklers. I’ve used quite a few different sprinkler heads in my day and I always come back to these rain bird professional 1800 series. Assuming you have a 1/2” threaded receiver, these are very easy to install. The internal filters keep dirt out of the head and they spray very consistently. Distance is primarily pressure regulated can can apply be adjusted with the screw on top. In my opinion, I’m not sure why Rain bird makes anything except for the adjustable 360* spray pattern. With this head you can have any combination of spray pattern - a 45*, 180*, 270* or anything in between! Unfortunately this 180 is not adjustable

Quality sprinklers
In my irrigation system, it mostly consists of Rain Bird sprinklers throughout. Some are quite hold but still perform just as good as when originally installed. I like to keep a few around just in case I need to replace them, which is mostly due to a car or lawnmower hitting them. They are quite affordable so no reason not to keep one or two around to avoid having to head to the store for a fix. I like this one because of the adjustable pattern, which makes it easy to get coverage wherever you put it. These are quality sprinkler and highly recommended!

Dual Spray waters better!
I do love the dual spray heads because they water the lawn or the area way better than single spray heads. They actually water right in front of them and up to 15 feet away without skipping. I do wish that the spray head was made out of brass instead of plastic because the slots in plastic heads seem to get faster water scale or debris on them. This spray head has good easy to read instructions on the body and a plus - those instructions tell you to take a photo or write instructions down before burying sprinklers to help you in future adjustment & maintenance. It does come with an interior filter under the top head.

Very Nice Quality
Right out of the box, the feel, the look, and the quality is quite impressive. Basic instructions right on the side of the unit for quick review is a plus. Hand tight body head easily screws off for cleaning or adjustments. These units come with 1/2 inch NPT for the most common connections. The center screw in the actual head fine tunes the spray pattern. This unit comes out of the box with a 180^ degree spray pattern!

Another Fine Rain bird Sprinkler
We bought this house in 2017 and it had an existing in ground sprinkler system made up mostly of another brand sprinkler heads. I have been gradually replacing all of them with Rain Bird 1800 series heads. The 1800 series heads are of a unique design whicj has a dual spray head. There is a lower outlet for in close watering to go along with the farther distance watering. The sprinklers are well constructed and easy to install. The 1800 series has a wide range of applications, spray patterns and distances. You cannot go wrong with Rain Bird. I have noticed a solid difference between the watering of non Rain Bird 1800 dual sprays and the non Rain Birds in my yard. The Rain Birds offer a far greater and complete coverage.

RAIN-BIRD 1800 Dual Spray 2 in. pop-up Sprinkler Head
I have this new Rain-Bird 1800 2in pop-up 180 degree duel pattern sprinkler head to try. I have several Rain-Bird sprinkler heads in my yard now, replacing heads that was installed in 1976. I have not used this dual spray head before. I can see it will help by dividing the spray pattern into two equal spray patterns see photo; it will give a better spray pattern at the head. Being the end of October and my sprinklers are turned off and drained for winter I will wait for spring to install. I'm very happy with all the Rain-Bird products i have used.

Great Brand
I have been using Rain Bird products for the last for the last 26 years. When I purchased this house they had another brand of sprinkler heads that constantly had to be replaced, mostly due to failure of the part. So I started replacing with the Rain Bird line of sprinkling heads and have been very pleased with their longevity. So the other day I wasn’t looking and broke one of the heads by kicking it (thought I broke my foot) got a new head and it was easily replaced. Thank you Rain Bird

Another Great Rain Bird Product
The 1800 Series Sprinkler is a great unit. The directions on the label are easy to ready and follow. It even has a reminder to take a picture of the label so once planted in the ground, you will have a refence to adjust the sprinkler head. This has up to a 360-degree spray pattern with a range of up to 15 feet depending on your water pressure. Once installed, turn on your water and twist the protruding rod all the way to your left edge, then twist the extended rod to the right for the desired coverage. There is even a small screw on the top of the rod head that allows for adjustment (up to 25%) of the amount of water to be used. Been a user of the Rain Bird products for years with no problems.

Great for corners.
This has 90 degree or quarter pattern nozzle. It's great for corner installations. While spray pattern is fixed you can still adjust nozzle position angle. Sprinkler case has 72 grooves every 5 degree and the bottom of pop-up tube has a cog shaped ring with teeth that slide into these grooves. Screw on tope of the nozzle adjusts spray distance. Nozzle can be replaced with another different pattern nozzle if you ever need to reconfigure spray pattern. On the bottom of sprinkler case there's 1/2" NPT female thread. Sprinkler head screws onto sprinkler line adapter. Black plastic survives well sun ultraviolet and string trimmers. You need to replace white seal ring once in a while. In the latest models they are made from Teflon and live significantly longer than old ones made from Nylon.

Install it and forget it
Half pattern is great for near house wall installations. Basically it sprays half circle 180 degrees. They are installed to spray outward of walls to flower beds. While pattern is fixed you can still adjust angle by inserting pop-up piece into right slot in sprinkler case. There are 72 slots every 5 degrees. Screw on the top also allows to adjust water flow / coverage distance from sprinkler. On of the bottom sprinkler head there's 1/2" female NPT to screw onto water line adapter. Fixed pattern nozzle doesn't require pattern adjustment and saves installation time.

4 inch ideal size for flower beds near house
Water pressure is the highest in sprinkler pipes near house. Lower pop-up height creates less risk of over shooting above bushes and flowers and spraying onto house walls. That's why I like 4" they sit low and don't pop-up high enogh to spray on house walls. I'd like adjustable spray pattern nozzle. You can set anywhere from 25 to 360 degrees. There's also screw in the middle that can be used to adjust water flow (spray distance). On the bottom it has 1/2" female NPT thread to connect to water line adapter. You can also adjust spray angle by inserting pop-up piece into right slot inside sprinkler case.

Great Product
Rainbird is a good quality spray head for irrigation systems. They last long, are easy to install, easy to program and use and do not leak. This one is adjustable so you can set the spray pattern from 45° up to 360° (full circle) to reach a wide area. 4 inch pop up when water is on and then settles flush so as to not get mowed or kicked and broken. Definitely the best on the market

Great little spray head from Rain Bird that covers a lot of ground
The Rain Bird 1802 sprinkler head is about half the size of previously offered sprinklers that cover a large area, This would mean you don't need deep ditches to get your sprinkler system going and when the spray head pops up it gives you a bigger coverage area than the flat head sprayers that don't pop up. The fan pattern really reaches out with a half circle of very fine droplets. I have one pop up that sticks up a little too high and I am always afraid that I might hit it with the lawn mower so this short one is going to that location.

Love these Rainbird heads
These Rainbirds are my favorites for pattern sprays. This sprinkler’s Matched Precipitation Rate allows it to be used in any combination with other Rain Bird fixed and adjustable pattern sprays. Additional 1800 Series features include a heavy-duty stainless steel spring to assure flush retraction every time. An exclusive co-molded wiper seal provides unmatched resistance to grit, pressure and the environment. A tapered pop-up neck helps to assure retraction in all soil types. The pre-installed Half Pattern 180 degree nozzle can be adjusted downward in throw distance up to 25% simply by turning a screw on the top. Non-corrosive plastic and stainless steel construction provides a long life. A mesh filter screen protects the nozzle from clogging and maintains precise radius adjustment. No tools needed to change nozzles. Operates efficiently at low water pressure; 1/2" inlet size. This is a 4 inch Pop-up Sprinkler, in the 1800 Professional Series. This will throw water 15 feet if you need it to. This is a heavy duty design for a long life. It has a 1/2'' female threaded inlet. I would recommend to others as I really like them. This 180* pattern is just what I need to replace one that got run over by a lawn mower next to my driveway. I'm sure you will be happy with these and their price.

Great sprinkler
To me, Rainbird is the standard for sprinklers. This sprinkler head does not disappoint. One thing I love about Rainbird's lines is the interchangeability and the ability to customize the heads. Once the sprinkler is installed on the riser from the water line, it's simple to rotate to adjust for the spray pattern. This sprinkler head is 180 degrees, haf a circle. For the pressure I have my irrigation set at, I got about 10' of spray. Thumbs up on this sprinkler head.

Great 2 inch sprinkler
This is a nice shorter than normal sprinkler. It doesn't have to be buried as deep due to the reduced height - handy sometimes. Otherwise it is about like a more typical 4 inch sprinkler. Still has a pattern adjustment on the top (turn the ring) and size of pattern (turn the screw). It also hooks up to a 1/2 inch connection like the 4 inchers. I will store this until one of mine fail and then install this nice new one.

Good 4 inch sprinkler
This is a normal 4 inch sprinkler with a pattern adjustment (rotate the top) and distance adjustment (turn the screw in the top). It fastens to a 1/2 inch connection. I seem to loose one of these every year or so by hitting them with a lawnmower or otherwise. I water with lake water so sometimes they get a bit plugged up. So it's nice to have a few on-hand to deal with the inevitable need. I prefer Rainbird sprinklers, I think they last longer. But no sprinkler fares well if hit by the mower. Installed correctly and used correctly this should provide good service and last a long time.

Excellent Sprinkler
As I have 8 zones and 48 sprinkler heads it seems as if I'm always replacing or repairing something. One small zone uses these smaller pop-up heads and this one is what I'll be using from now on as it's diameter is considerably smaller than what I currently have thus making it really easy to dig up the old one and screw in this new style. All of my sprinklers are Rain Bird and I've been very happy for over 20 years at their performance and durability!
