This is not the first zapper that I have purchased. I used brand new batteries and put bait in the rear of the tap. I also placed a game camera to observe. Night after night I watched mice go in and out of the trap and eating the bait. Never zapped any of them.

in my opinion the rat zapper is the best.

I purchased it to use on our back porch. I have caught two rats and 1 mouse so far over a month. It does work so I am pleased with that but I have had slugs two times set off the trap. The batteries seem to last a long time too.

Caught 3 rats in first week. I would recommend using rubber gloves when handling the trap. I have another trap that I have touched with my bare hands and the rats seem to avoid that one.

Killed mouse in my garage right away. Simple and no mess! Love it!

Only lasted long enough for two critters. Is this supposed to be disposable? If so, it’s a little expensive to work just a few times - that’s ridiculous. It’s going back.

Past results from other RatZapper traps have been excellent; this particular one has exterminated one rat and failed to exterminate five more! not good...

The first day I baited the trap with a single peanut placed at the extreme end of the trap. The following day the trap was tripped, the peanut gone, along with the rat. Before this my trail cam showed that the rat was visiting this area multiple times each night. Since, and for three consecutive nights it has not shown up even once in the area covered by the camera, though it has visited other spring-type snap traps outside the camera's range, as evidenced by missing peanut butter on the traps.

Works perfectly as advertised. Only wish there was a weather resistant version to use near my pool year round.

We have had it a month and the rat literally runs over the top will not go in it no matter what we have put in it or how we put it in. We have tried everything!

Works better that I thought a mouse trap would. When mouse is killed just dump them out of the device- no touching of the pesky varmits.

The only critters this zapper got were 2 little mice. Did not get the pack rat.

It took 3 days but it works. Make sure you use a strong battery for best results.

It never caught anything. I would have returned it if I still had the box.

It does Workwell the stinkier the bait the better it is like some nasty stinky cheese peanut butter works good so does chicken but nasty stinky cheese works the best a very good product

I used a long stick to dab some peanut butter at the base of the back wall. I turned it on and got flashing red lights which supposedly meant the batteries were spent. But that was with brand new batteries. When I removed the batteries they were very warm to the touch.

Rat zapper worked great! First night caught two large pack rats and have since caught a couple Smaller mice too. Would recommend this product

Great product. I had some mice in my apartment that was driving me crazy Rat zapper saved my mind. it caught 5 in one week. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who is dealing with any type of rodents in your house, apartments or wherever it works!!!!

This product Works great. Be careful as it can zap anything that goes in, including squirrels. The perfect bait is peanut butter filled pretzels. You can use them over and over and they leave no mess. Highly recommended.

Broke after two weeks! Marketed as 60 zap per batteries, but it zapped once. Started flashing red and thought it was low battery. Replaced the batteries and it wouldn't even turn on. I spent $60 on a rat zapper and pricey D batteries.... so disappointed.

This trap is useful and work, In three weeks just four (4) rats were caught in. I think It is a good tool for rats' treatments. Now, I do not see rats anymore.
