Received the Water Heater and didn't realize that you have to change the faucet aerator in order to slow down the water flow or it won't heat up the water. I have a spray style single faucet that doesn't have a Aerator and you can not change it. I didn't even attempt to install it and took it back. I had a friend who told me that they had purchased the same water heater for their shops office sink. It never performed like it was supposed to even after they changed the aerator on the faucet, they ended up taking it back too.

Its not a good solution. At first it worked but essentially was scalding hot.. Less than a year into use, the heater no longer heats continually. Customer service is always closed and impossible to reach. When I finally got through they needed me to check voltages in the unit. Really? Its difficult to remove the cover once its installed. Disappointed all around with this product and service from Rheem.

No matter what I did, I couldn't get this product to work at all.

Heats, but at very little water flow. I did not keep, returned as it would not keep up with my demand at a single sink.

works fine but only heats to a maximum of 125 degrees...not really HOT water but more like Warm water.

Not impressed it has to be 99 degrees for it to produce warm water

The heater does not use any electricity until it senses water flow. Hot water is nearly instantaneous. It does exactly what we wanted and was relatively easy to install.

Takes a while to warm up and get hot.

For my need I purchased the wrong water heater. It works great but again couldn't meet what I needed.

This unit does an excellent job. Mounted it in bathroom in my shop. I purchased a 1 gpm aerator for faucet instead of the 1/2 gpm which was too hot for grandkids. Love it.

This is easy to install and very modern

Finally have hot water to wash dishes .

This is my 2nd one in 6months. I thought maybe the element was burnt out because it wasn't heating the water temp up like it did the 1st time, so I brought another and its never gotten up to the temp thats needed. The water gets luke warm.

Doesnt work correctly

Very inconsistent hot water, goes from 80 degrees to 140 but never stays hot long enough to have constant hot water and even goes completely cold. Even at a very slow flow rate it is inconsistent. You cannot depend on it to deliver hot water when you need it. Extremely disappointed in Rheem.

Decent, not exactly instant, takes longer than most instant water heaters to warm up. I live in FL so not exactly fighting super cold water temps either

Doesn’t work whatsoever.

Would be ok for a sink. Not great for a shower and terrible for a bath. At 1 gal per minute, water is barely warm.

great for getting hot water in hard to get place in the home!

First, be aware the display does not light up until the water is running. This caused me to a return one unit. Second, this is NOT an instant hot water unit. As the water runs it will get hotter, mine would only get to 114° and that was at a very low flow rate and a couple minutes of running. Incoming water temp about 70. I have very little confidence in it when it gets colder here.
