Wrong device sent ordered national gas received propane heater. Returned heater the same day.

Well this particular unit is supposed to supply enough hot water to be able to use several sources at the same time without running out of hot water, however if you are taking a shower and someone else turns on any other water source the water instantly becomes cold, I don’t know anyone who appreciates cold water running down their backs when taking a shower, if they here is a way to avoid the cold water, I would be very interested in hearing about it, thank you.

Ours was installed by a professional approved Rheem plumber! It worked great for the first 8 months! We loved it! Ever since we started getting a code 12, everyday. No plumbers, not even Rheem revommended, will service Rheem products, they say they are junk & repairs won't last the 90 day warranty! Now I have to replace the igniter at least once a month Or even weekly at $80 each! I'll replace the igniter, it will work for about a week. Then we get the same igniter code w/ no hot water!

Love it. Good price and free shipping! Got it installed by a pro about a week ago. No longer need to keep the old water tank running 24/7. Saves on gas. Very happy with my Rheem selection.

I had this unit installed 3 years ago by a plumbing contractor and it has never failed to supply enough hot water for an extended family of six. Two washing machines, two dishwashers, three bathrooms & two kitchens. Highly recommend this product. If you ever need tech support, Rheem excels in that department. 5 stars across the board.

Not an easy install but well worth the extra efforts 1st night we had 3 showers going at once and no fluctuations in temp at all. Awesome!!

Great product easy ordering

I bought this Rheem to replace our Navien that went on the brink.Error code: flame rod/igniter need replacing.Since we were installing it ourselves I replaced the entire unit,which was easy.The unit is quiet&works great.I went with this one because it was available nearby and it matched up with the existing outlets (gas,hot/cold water, intake&exhaust). Minor adjustment to the PVC went from 3in to 2in.

This is the only household tankless carried in my local store. Unfortunately, it has a flow rate much larger than I needed so I returned it.

I purchased one of these tankless heaters, and had it professionally installed. It worked well for the first two year, after which the igniter coil failed. The company would not honour their warranty commitment, and could not send out a replacement coil for over five weeks. Buy something else if you have the chance.

It’s not gating hate 120 The thermostat is 120 but the water coming like 80

We purchased this unit in August of 2022. We had a plumber over to perform the install and things went fairly smooth. Thing was great for about two months. Then had decreased water flow, water leaking from the exhaust vent, shutting off randomly. Called Rheem service and got a claim number. They pulled the bad install card. Redid gas and vent. More issues. Still jumping through hoops 8 months later and the unit still doesn't operate. Constant battle and frustration with Rheem and unit.

Would really recommend for getting the job done. Easy installation.

Replaced my old tank heater. Much compact, hopefully much more efficient.

Bought this unit Feb 3 2022. Worked great until December 2022 . Started banging loudly and violently when 2 showers were going. Descale done as recommended in book , kept up with cleaing the filter. Then we started getting no hot water off and on and errors codes. It is not reliable. It was installed professionally , its just a bad product. I still havent been able to get answers from rheem. Wish i would have taken it right back to home depot. I spent a lot of money on this unit and this is not exceptable for this to be happening in just a year. I thought the warranty was a good thing but its been difficult to reach rheem and get a resolution. I will update review soon with outcome.

Best hot water heater .very easy to install.

Does not heat water enough

This water heater worked amazing for 5 weeks. Then just stopped producing hot water. No error codes. Tried everything. Eventually gave up with tech support. Had my plumber look at it and he recommended I get a new one. Really really disappointed.

very nice unit. easy to install

This product started leaked at the heat exchanger piping after 4 years. This was installed in 2019 and falls under the parts warranty. Rheem refused to honor the warranty because we had purchased the house from the previous home owner. It is YOUR product. Have some ownership and take care of your customers. Do not buy this product as it will fail and Rheem will leave you with no other option than to replace the unit.

I have a 9.5 gpm tankless. And it's junk. I've exchanged it 2 times and they all have the same ignition issues.
