[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the same old iron for 13 years. It is amazing a perfect iron with steam made my life so easy. I thought all irons where the same, how wrong I was. I was waseting so much time and struggling with wrinkles. With my new Rowenta STEAM CARE STEAM IRON my cloth are smother and wrinkle free.

It worked perfectly on my clothing, curtains, cloth backdrop and other fabric items that I've had sitting wrinkled for so long. This iron has intelligent technology that recognizes the necessary heat for each fabric automatically! It's truly amazing, and that's only one of the many amazing features. I love it, and strongly suggest everyone to get one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to utilize the Rowenta Steam Care Steam Iron on multiple occasions and couldn't be any more pleased with the performance and quality of this iron. The Rowenta Steam Care Iron feels super sturdy and well-constructed in hand. This is my first Iron without a traditional temperature dial, and although hesitant initially, I absolutely love the lack of need for constant adjustment. As somebody who irons button down shirts and slacks daily, this Iron is truly a dream. I like that the rear of the soleplate is rounded, rather than than squared, as it does not snag on buttons. The steam function works extremely well, and the sole plate has tons of holes for an even steam release. Rowenta did a nice job making a large water tank also, as I don't find myself needed to refill the iron constantly while ironing several shirts. Overall, I really love how nicely this product works to release wrinkles and to form neat creases, where desired. The soleplate is large and glides smoothly over a variety of fabrics. Terrific product, high-quality and trusted performance!

Light weight, fast heat up. Good for every day ironing on clothes but not so much for sewing clothes. Does not get hot enough for setting seams or adding interfacing. No continuous steam, just small bursts.

It has smart steam and smart temp, which is really great for me because I'm not always sure how much steam to use. Also if forget and leave the iron facing down it will turn off in 30 seconds! So, you won't accidentally burn anything. You can also set the steam setting for manual use, vertically too. It lets me know when it's ready to go with lights. I love how many small steam holes this has. I really didn't think that irons could be improved but I was wrong. This is a great iron. I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a little skeptical while using this iron due tot he “smart” technology and not being able to choose your own heat setting. I’m quite surprised at its accuracy most of the time. Sometimes it doesn’t want to get hot enough on super wrinkly stuff but then I just use the awesome steam feature and it solves that problem. One of my favorite things is that there are tons of steam holes and you can easily unwrinkle hanging clothes without taking them off of the hanger. I like the weight of it because it’s heavy enough to be effective but not too heavy to use comfortable. The length of the cord is longer than most of the other irons I have used in the past also which makes it very convenient for most locations.

This thing does all kinds of different fabrics and you don't have to change any setting on the iron!! The sprayer works just perfectly and it don't drip! Anyways the handles very comfortable to hold and now I can get my clothes ironed in half the time with a great iron!!

This is the best iron I’ve ever owned. It takes out the wrinkles in just a couple passes and I have no fear of burning my clothes. The guy boy bad thing is that there’s no on/off button so I always gave to unplug it. Apparently it goes into a stand-by mode if inactive for 8 minutes but to me , that’s not the same as being turned off.

My 96 YO Mother in Law loves to iron. Unfortunately after only a year and half this iron would turn off and not turn back on. She loves the weight and steam but Rawenda refused to honor the warranty because it was "OVER" the period. I can't find it online and I can't drag her to the store so I will probably but her something else.

Unfortunately with advances in technology, some person somewhere trying to take away choices from the user because I guess they think they know what we want. Not being able to adjust and iron is mind bogglingly stupid to me. I need to press linen, cotton and some things have polyester. There's no way they should all be the same temperature, but this iron takes away the choice. Are there people who really prefer such a mindless tool? Whatever people designed this need to get a foot on earth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sew so I iron a lot. This iron does everything I need. I love that I can use tap water and don't need to buy distilled. It can handle all types of fabrics. It's a trusted brand and this product. It irons well and it looks pretty sleek. It has a nice tip for getting into seams. It's very easy to see water level. It shuts off automatically when not in use. There was no water leakage and the steam was a perfect level. No complaints!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before using this Rowenta Steam Care iron, I was a big fan of steamers because of how easy they make ironing. However, the frequent need to refill and the need to go over the same wrinkles several times on materials like cotton made me give this a shot. This is powerfully constructed steamer iron combo that is an absolute delight to use. I love that it has just one setting for all my steaming needs, from linen, cotton, polyester to silk and satin! The huge tank means I don't have to keep refilling it. I like the traditional ironing aspect of it because it makes the steamer a lot more efficient and I only have to steam wrinkles once even on tougher fabrics such as cotton and linen to get them out. Overall, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great steaming iron for all your ironing needs!

I am fine without having temperature settings, even though I was hesitant on that at first. I iron almost everything with this and started using my old iron when I don’t need steam. On this one, it would always steam unless I emptied out all of the water. The plate is a great size and has been easy to keep clean.

After trying this new iron I am at amazed at how different they could be! I am so impressed that the iron does not have settings and will iron any material properly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me begin by saying I absolutely hate ironing! But, this steam iron is amazing! It really cuts down the time it takes to get my ironing done. One setting for all fabrics is such a plus. I also love that it steams my clothes because it really gets the deep creases out especially fabrics like silk that tend to hold on to the creases.

When getting a new one, we wanted something featuring newer technology and this iron was the perfect find. First, this iron doesn’t have a confusing thermostat… it doesn’t have a thermostat at all. It just works on everything from a single setting. Second, it works upright to steam a hanging suit. It holds plenty of water to iron a bunch of things at once. The tip is really narrow helping me get a perfect steamed crease on my suit pants. I look forward to using this for decades to come!

Steams very well I think the chamber could be a bit larger as the water runs out fast but it heats up fast as well so is not that big a deal.

The cord is a great length. It allows me to move freely. The iron is a good size and weight. The handle feels good in my hand.

But, my life with three kiddos and a husband meant that I needed to do the occasional ironing. Whoa. What I didn’t realize is that I didn’t hate ironing, I hated the iron I was using! This is a completely different experience. Smooth across the fabric, auto detection of the fabric type, smooths things perfectly. The rest of the family is a fan too! My daughter recently took it to iron her sheet. We might be fully converted.

It's easy to handle and not uncomfortable to use for an extended period of time. The cord is plenty long enough if you don't have a super close outlet. The steam comes out at a good consistent rate and is very helpful to get wrinkles out quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Rowenta DW3182 Steamcare Steam Iron has an attractive, sleek design.   One of the features I found intriguing is that this iron has no temperature settings.  With the use of smart technology the iron automatically adjusts to the type of material being ironed.  Huh… this I had to see to believe. It's true, the smart technology of this iron is outstanding.  I ironed clothing items of different materials and thicknesses; and I have to say I am very impressed with the quality job the Rowenta Iron does.    Definitely recommend the Rowenta DW3182 Steamcare Steam Iron.
