I got this paint not knowing what I would do with it, I have a tin man made out of can's I had hung it in my storage building for years. I decided that I would paint my tin man As you can see from the picture it did not cover to well I will have to get some more and see if it will cover it better. I had high hopes for this this paint to do the job.

I used this paint to transform an old metal sculpture that had been sitting in the garage for a couple of years. The only prep I did was to clean off the accumulated dust, wipe it off and let it dry completely before painting. The process is the same as for any spray paint - shake it up for a minute or so, then apply the paint per instructions. I was painting over a dark brown color, and it took three coats (the whole can of paint) to get adequate coverage. Although you can't tell from the photos, looking closely you can still tell there is brown paint underneath. So my suggestion, if you want a complete cover up, would be to use a light colored primer coat before using the glitter paint. One can of paint turned what was basically a piece of scrap metal into a very cool decoration for the pool.

I bought the kelly green glitter for my Harley to experiment and WOW did it come out better then i imagined. I sprayed the glitter over black prime with intentions of just green glitter over black but when a spot got to much glitter i had a idea and bam... Im attaching a photo of my gas tank and also giving a big THANK YOU for making transaction painless.

This glitter spray was great for my DIY project. I used it to complete a Christmas cubicle decorating contest we have at work every year. Gingerbread house roof the theme was candy lane. The quality was great.

I bought this Silver Glitter paint spray to paint a black funnel for my granddaughter's Halloween costume. The product was wonderful. It took 3 light coats to cover and give a good "glitter" to the black plastic funnel, and the end result was great. I was quite pleased with the product and the good cover it gave. Do use it outdoors and let it dry outdoors if possible as the fumes/odor are a little over-powering indoors.

I wanted a little bling but not huge. This glitter spray was just the thing. If the light is right you can really see it, if the light doesn't hit it right you don't see it. Makes your project have a little surprise. On the basket, I wish I has sprayed it a dark color before adding the gold. I sprayed outside and had glitter lots of unexpected places - I recommend spraying inside a large box to keep it from getting caught in the breeze. I'm adding pictures but am afraid that they don't do the product justice. They look really good but are very lightly glittered. It was easy to use, but for me, messy - however I make a mess with most spray paints so it's probably not the product.

Used on some whirligig parts for a great glitter in the sun. Looks awesome on these limited pieces. Not sure yet as to how well it holds up long term but looks great out of the can. The spray is VERY thick so it's easy to overcoat in order to get color. Glitter tends to glob when it runs and it likes to run. Use several light coats for better application without this build up. Curious to see how it holds up outdoors. Great for craft projects.

I used on a whole can on a 10 x 10 area and it didn't cover it. I did call Rust Oleum and they were wonderful and are sending me another can to complete my project.

It was nothing like the picture. You could barely see the color. I hazed quite a bit just on one side of my small project just to see the color.

It's hard to make it stay on the surface.

I used it to spray some landscape rocks outside and it’s held up great in the weather

Worked well as a base coat beneath some candy colors I was spraying. One can only sprayed a bit before it clogged and was no good; but otherwise it worked well.

Poor coverage used whole can to cover a small frame.

This is a good product. For those writting bad reviews with any glitter or flake spray you need to put a basecoat of the same or darker or lighter coat underneath first. This is just the glitter mixed in with clear. It is not paint and glitter. Works great if you do it right. And must finish with a clear coat to bring out the full sparkle.

Great product just as described

I’ve used the glitter spray in several metal room items for a girls room. Pieces turned out great. Downside is that sometimes the nozzle gets clogged bc of the glitter specks. To use- lay down paper, and excess glitter can be easily swept up.

It dried looking very dirty. Was not happy with the glitter paint. Returned to the Home Depot.
