very poor quality , do not meet my expectation , the quality of the mix was very poor

Always a great product for homeowners or contractors small jobs….SUGGESTION FOR HOME DEPOT….. STORE OUTSIDE OR UNDER COVER NEAR THE PARKING LOT… TRYING PUSHING A FEW BAGS 3 or 4 through your clogged and often blocked aisles!!!

The Sakrete 80lb mix worked fine. Actually had a little left over so that was good. Delivery was tinely with no problems. Thanks for helping us with this project.

Works really good and dry in no time

I've used this type product before on dry-pour post foundations. This time it was for a vertical 2x2 post that I'd planned to hold a small decorative light weight metal gate for the garden. the gate weighs less than 2 lbs. I dug a hole 5 times as big. Poured a little Sakrete in the bottom, then put the post in and backfilled with more sakrete. Afterwards I gentled watered, Leveled the post & misted the top as it dried. I then left the post for 2 days without using it. On day 3 I attached the gate plus put a stone underneath the far edge as support ( so that the post wasn't holding any weight) However, on day 7 or 8 the sakrete cracked.... I am dissappointed. I have done this exact procedure more than 30 times before. deck posts, stairway posts, clothes line posts, garden stakes, etc, etc, etc..... MANY times. Too Late to fix and digging it up and re-doing it would create More damage than just leaving it. I generally use a cheaper brand, but because these were for my wife I paid extra for what I had assumed was a superior product. Did NOT turn out well for me. Now with that said, I do commend sakrete that it did contain more gravel than the cheaper brands and levelled out faster. The set-up time was about the same.
