The fridge is great, works good and we really like it. However when delivered it was not in a shipping box and received damage during the shipping process. It has a dent and scratch on the left side from the door up the side and many scrapes along the top of the door. The water dispenser drips, so I shut it off and put it on ice only. This is a real disappointment, cause the fridge really adds to my kitchen and the damaged side is not next to a wall so its very noticeable.

Zero stars one but that's not allowed. Ours is 2 years old. I have now taken the back panel off 6 times to defrost this fridge. I have put on new door gaskets. I have called Samsung and tried their website for help. Nothing. I am now ditching this horrid thing and buying a kenmore. I have one that is 15 years old a still working.

        Overall, this model is ok. Except, if you like having to manually defrost the ice maker maybe 4-6 times a month, this fridge is for you! The ice maker on this is poorly designed and we continually have the unit iced over and stops producing ice. We are always having to take the iceless tray out and the top is usually ice encrusted and we have to take a blow dryer to it to melt away this ice to "de-ice" everything so it can begin to make ice again. Once that's done it does make ice, but its only days sometimes when it won't dispense ice because the mechanism is all iced up and frozen again. We paid over $2200 for this fridge and now you can pick one up for around $1300, coincidence?? Samsung may make great TV's, but they sure can't make refrigerators! It also has a ventilation problem.There 4 vents in the back that circulate the cold air inside the fridge. Well, these vents,also get frozen. How the does water get into these vents? Anyways, when they do, water finds its way underneath the meat drawer, and you won't know about it until the next time you go to pull the drawer and you have a hard time sliding them out. That water that finds its way underneath is now frozen in a thick sheet of ice, maybe 1/4- to 1/2 inch thick! So you have to take out the drawer and take that ice out, sometimes its the width the area under that drawer, then you will still find water under there that needs to be soaked up cleaned out. WE HATE THIS FRIDGE! WE WILL NEVER, EVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG APPLIANCE AGAIN. NOT IN THIS OR ANY OTHER LIFE TIME! This is our experience, maybe you'll have better luck than we did. But do you really want to spend that kind of money on the "chance" that it'll be ok?

          Warning...Stay Away From Samsung Products! - We purchased this model in September of 2015 and paid a ton of money for it (over $2K.) It was manufactured in September of 2015 and from other reviews it is clear that Samsung has known about this problem for a long time. Anyway, from time to time, the fan inside the fridge section would start making this loud noise. Eventually it would make the loud noise for a few days, then the temperature in the fridge would rise to about 55 degrees spoiling everything in the fridge sans the ketchup & mustard. It turns out that these refrigerators have a major design flaw that Samsung refuses to acknowledge. It causes the Twin Cooling Evaporator in the cabinet to freeze up with ice, and after enough ice has accumulated, ends up causing the cooling fan blades to come in contact with the ice causing a very loud noise and blocking the cool air from getting into the fridge section. You have to unplug the unit and let it defrost for a day or two being careful to catch all the melt water before is ruins your wood floors! The "solution" was to have a service Tech move the defrost sensor about 2" to supposedly cause the unit to do a better job of defrosting this cooling coil. That was done on 5-19-17 and as of 6-22-17 the unit has once again iced-up and is inoperable. Thank God I have a 10-year old LG out in the garage that still works great to put all our stuff in. Calls to Samsung go to deaf ears. Really? a $2000+ refrigerator that lasts only a year and a half. Sounds like Samsung needs some better Engineers and more thorough product testing before they sell their junk in the USA. Never Ever Again will I purchase anything from Samsung!!!!!!

            BUYER BEWARE....I have this same exact model...it came with our new house that we bought in July 2015. These refrigerators have a design flaw that Samsung refuses to acknowledge. It causes the Twin Cooling Evaporator in the cabinet to freeze up with ice, which after enough ice has accumulated, ends up causing the cooling fan blades to come in contact with the ice causing a very loud rotational noise. My refrigerator has a manufacture date of January 2015 and in a year and a half that I have owned it I've had to address this problem three times...and it's not covered under warranty! Now, I'm looking for a new refrigerator to replace this one and will never purchase any appliance made by Samsung again.

              We have had this fridge for about a week now. Although it is about the same dimensions and fits perfectly where our old 1990's top/bottom fridge was, it appears much larger in the kitchen. The filter is AMAZING. The tap water in my home tastes so bad of chlorine, but the filter in this water/ice dispenser really takes that gross taste out! We don't have to go buy 5 gallon jugs of water anymore! The fridge space is a little hard to get use too now that there is an ice dispenser taking up room, but this is still better than the old fridge. The ice dispenser doesn't do a great job at crushed ice. We do notice a loud popping/cracking noise, usually after the ice fills with water. From what I have gathered online, this is filter releasing pressure? I don't know, but it is kind of alarming at first. I love the chilling pull out tray, we use it for beer and wine and it chills them to the perfect temp. All in all this was a good purchase and it goes well with our other Samsung appliances.

              Normally we like and enjoy using Samsung Products. We bought this fridge almost four years ago. Within the first year, the ice maker started freezing up with water running down the front of fridge pooling on the floor. One storage shelf on inside door cracked then broke apart, shelves inside are starting to crack, rust is forming at the base edge of water dispenser, 1/3 cup of water dispenses first when getting ice, pieces of black stuff shows up in water. A repair person removed mold from inside dispenser. Disgusting. Before our warranty expired we had a repair man out 5 times. On top of all that it's noisy. This is a horrible product and will NEVER buy another Samsung refrigerator. I tell as many people I can not to buy Model:rf263beaww/aa

Had it for two years and of course it starts falling apart at the one year mark when the manufacturer stops caring. My buddy has the same fridge and has all the same issues. Here is the list of everything that has broken: -Motherboard fried at 1 year -Left door flap lost spring -Ice maker stopped working -After fixing ice maker, needs to be defrosted once/month -Ice supply is useless if ore than one person in your house likes ice -Doors no longer seal unless you stand there and push on them after you close -Ice dispenser leaks, so we have to keep a cup there to catch the water Bottom line... I like Samsung, but don't buy this fridge.

                  Purchased this to replace a Samsung R267LASH side-by-side about a month ago. I wanted a french door style as I use he fridge a lot more than the freezer and being 6' 2" tall, constantly bending down to access the lower areas of the fridge was a pain. After comparing three different models by Samsung, Frigidaire, and GE, based on price and customer reviews, the Samsung appeared to be the best value with most positive reviews. The Fridge is very bight and open and includes a full width drawer for deli, eggs, etc. I like the sliding divider and have mine set up about 70/30. The fridge has two crisper drawers - logically - one for fruit and one for veg. I would like to have had a larger veggie draw than fruit - but it's not a huge deal. The right side door has ample gallon size storage, but the left side has considerably less to due to the ice/water dispensers. The shelving design is somewhat inflexible; the combination of a fold-up shelf on the left and half-depth shelf on the right side seems to disrupt storage options. While the freezer was less of a priority, I quickly realized that the dual-bin design ultimately means a lot less storage than the side by side due to the space occupied by draw mechanisms and wasted space above and below the top sliding bin. Now that the freezer is stocked, it's very hard to see what's in there as both areas have to be stacked in layers so it's not possible to what's underneath. Additionally, there's only one vertical divider, so it's not easy to keep different sized packages organized across the width of the drawers. To help with this I bought some stackable storage bins - alas they turned out to be too tall to stack, but did help to create discreet storage areas. Overall I'm pretty happy with it- the fridge is a great charcoal finish which is refreshingly different from the traditional Black/White/Stainless steel options. This give the unit a lot of presence in the room.

                  This refrigerator replaced an old side-by-side refrigerator that we inherited when we bought our home. The storage capacity and layout with the French door refrigerator is superior to the previous model we had - I was able to easily store large platters of food in preparation for holiday gatherings and still have room for other items. The refrigerator is so quiet - my previous refrigerator hummed all day long. With this new one, I can hardly tell it's even running. All in all, I am thrilled with this new refrigerator and am very pleased with Samsung's design and layout. Finally, Home Depot couldn't have been better to work with. The refrigerator was delivered and installed with no problem. I will definitely be shopping at Home Depot in the future for major appliance needs. Thank you!

                  Beautiful refrigerator but horrible quality. We bought this refrigerator this summer, I loved the look of the black stainless steel and had to have it (It was more expensive then too). However 2 weeks into owning it the dispenser began leaking and it was not from the actual water dispenser it was from the "back wall" of the dispenser. I called Home Depot warranty as we had purchased the extended warranty and was told that because it was within the year I would need to call Samsung. I called and we did some trouble shooting and was told to wait 48 hours and if it did not resolve they would send a technician to look at it. Fast forward to 3 months, 5 technician visits and over 24 calls to Samsung I was told the appliance was defective and would need to be replaced. Now I need to wait 10-15 business days for a fully functional refrigerator the exact same model that has the exact same problems. Horrible customer service and no regard for the customers at all. Never again will I buy Samsung. I understand that an appliance can be defective but the bad customer service, the amount of calls and rude service to solve the issue that was obviously from production. That is unacceptable. Samsung lost a customer.

                    Poor Quality of the Finish
                    Bought this refrigerator in the Black Stainless finish. This finish scratches extremely easy and looks terrible since it shows the shiney stainless underneath. There is nothing that can be done about it. For the high price this appliance is at, this is a terrible value and will degrade the look of a new kitchen in a matter of days. All you have to do is brush against it as it's extremely fragile. We have no children in the house, just 2 adults and we care for our things. This is very disappointing considering we bought the matching gas range and dishwasher in the same finish and the dishwasher has a scratch too. I would not recommend any Samsung Black Stainless product. Garbage and a waste of hard earned money! Buyer beware!

                      My old fridge was over 10 years old and once I got this one I loved it! I love having a water and ice dispenser WITH a child lock on it. The snack drawer in the fridge is perfect for my three year old's snacks and he enjoys the freedom he has of opening the fridge to get his own snacks and juice boxes and if he leaves the door opens it beeps to let me know the doors are open. It is spacious and amazing. Love it!!

The salespeople were very knowledgable about the brands they offered and showed us all the newest features. We chose this great Samsung model and we're so glad we did. It is loaded with well thought out features like folding shelves to make room when you need it and tons of room. Everything is wherevitbshould be. A real no brainier.                           This is a large refrigerator that really holds a lot of items. The four doors are amazing. One of the best features is the drawers in the freezer. It helps keep everything so well organized. We love the fact that you can change the bottom freezer to more refrigerator space if you want to. We haven't needed to yet, but it is a great function. We love the ice dispenser and water in the door. The filter is easy to replace -once we found it. It is a great looking refrigerator and it keeps food a a steady temperature. It has been amazing how long vegetables stay fresh in the bin. The only con I can think of is that finger prints show up easily on the surface even though it is supposed to be finger print resistant.

                            Bought 2 of these refrigerators for my son's. A few months later we realized they were both running practically all the time. On investigation we found that when the right door is closed last, it blows the left door open about 1/4 inch which exposes the interior of the refrigerator to outside air, rendering the insulation ineffective. However, it's not enough to set off the door alarm so you won't know it. Samsung's warranty servicer for my area, says it's normal for this model and Samsung will not warranty this problem. My advice: stay away from this refrigerator unless you love to pay high electric bills. I wasted $3500 on these. I know I will never buy another Samsung product.

                            I only have this new refridgerator since end of October 2014. The delivery and hook up went exceptionally well. I do think the pantry drawer is a little flimsy and over time could break. I got the home depot warranty for 5 years which gives me peace of mind. No deductible so for 30 bucks a year its worth it.
