1 month and 1 week after purchase the washing machine stopped working due to a software update that failed. Very disappointment. Our family has been loyal Samsung customers. Customer service generated a help desk ticket for a service tech to come and clear the error code 9C8. Feeling like this could be a sign that there will be more issues to come. High, high, high probably this washer will be returned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my washer, I've had it a month or so now and it does everything I need it to. It connects to the app effortlessly, responds to commands. The 5.5cu is literally huge and I get a full clean load every time. This washer is everything I hoped it would be. The purchase process was awful so its comforting to know that atleast the machine is good.

the display on my washer has parts going out less than 6 months after purchase. it also badly tangles clothes due to the way it barely puts water in the drum and spins them.

This washer easily fits my blankets and I know they are clean, I only have to wash them one time vs the 3 with my old washer just to make sure it all got washed. I can see the progress right from my phone, change settings, stop, start whatever I need except for it to put it in the dryer for me. I can customize for the needs of what I'm washing, it is almost silent, I've had to double check a few times just to make sure it was working, I've never used a washer this quiet. So far zero lost socks, and the straps of my tops don't get all tangled up and stretched out. It has a self clean and it tells you when it needs to be cleaned which is super easy. Awesome washer zero regrets.

The extra large capacity really lives up to it. I can pretty much wash double the amount in 1 load and there's still space! We truly love this washer.

We had A Samsung washer and dryer in our old home as well and we loved them! Love the look, how quiet it runs, and the pre treat feature! We are still waiting on our WiFi to get installed but I just know I will also love the ability to control From my phone as well! Only complaint is if you are short you may need a stool or something to reach small items. I’m 5’4 and struggle to reach tiny toddler clothes, but other than that no complaints!

We had a Samsung washer and dryer in our old home as well and loved them! Only complaint is I can’t always reach all of the clothes being 5’ 4, but other than that, no complaints!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I order this in 4/19/22 and received it on 5/13/22. 2 days later than expected. It’s HUGE. Need a step stool just to get all the clothes out of it. Many function you have to familiarize yourself w/. Downloaded the smart things app and it connect s to my phone and lets me know when it’s done or how much longer it has. Originally didn’t love the color but when I received it it was perfect..

Pros wifi capable so you can see status and control remotely super large tub (didnt realize how small our other bowl was) great for big towels and blankets lots of preset functions user control of almost every function of the washer manually if you want to customize your settings super quiet ability to prewash drawer for detergent and one for fabric softener deep wash, quick wash, delay end and self clean functions Please note you need to use high efficiency detergent. I thought it was simply recommended but the owners manual said regular is too sudsy CONS BIG owners manual :-0

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do the laundry for my family of six so when I bought this for my “family” it was really for myself. But nobody is complaining because clothes are coming out cleaning with a faster turnaround time. This washer/dryer combo washes clothes better, more gently, holds more, uses less water/energy, has useful cycles, and notifies me when it’s done. I recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade to a WiFi connected washer. My first impression is the drum is HUGE! I immediately washed all the bulky items that have been waiting for me to buy a bigger washer: comforters, pillows, stuffed animals, etc. Big items were no problem and the pre-soak and deep fill features helped out. My favorite feature has become the active water jet. Obviously it works for stains, but I use it most to fill up the dog’s water bowl saving me a trip to the kitchen! I upgraded from a much older washer so this one is nicer in every aspect. I’m excited to lose the agitator in the middle as I can put larger items in without them getting twisted; easily tangled items like bras don’t get tangled anymore. I appreciate the soft close lid that won’t angrily slam closed. I use the presoak often; this was a feature I manually did on my old washer so it’s nice to have it integrated. The app is useful and keeps laundry day on track. I already made it to the first suggested “self clean” cycle so this washer is seeing lots of use!

It holds so much laundry and gets the job done. It’s super quiet and doesn’t take up much more space than any other washer. It’s sleek in design. It is tall for me. I am 5 foot 6 and I have to get on my tippy toes sometimes for socks at bottom. It’s soooo quiet. I am loving this machine.

This washer is a little larger in capacity, width and height than my older washer The app is fun to use but I thought it would be a little more high-tech since its from Samsung. I love it saves electricity I like using cold water and eco mode. The drum is so large I can wash my bedding easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's start out by saying the washer is really beautifully designed. It's just pretty to look at. I love all of the features that it comes with, but especially the app control features. I've done several loads of laundry and the large capacity is really awesome. I've been able to wash large comforters with ease. Typically I have to go to a coin laundry to wash my larger items but so far I haven't had any capacity issues at all. Really love the different laundry wash types can do from fragile garments to even water proof items. Another cool feature is being able to see into the washer. I'm not sure why I love it I just do. On the cycles I have used once the load goes into spin mode the clothes come out very dry. I've never had a washer that was this efficient at getting excess water off of clothing. Even my blankets were near dry. It really helps cut down on the drying time in the dryer as well. Unlike other HE washers I've had this one actually cleaned my clothing. The unit is also very quiet, if I'm in another room I can't even tell it's on. My last washer was extremely load and obnoxious when running. This one is a nice improvement. The loads are also pretty quick and I like that it gives you a timer so you can go do other things and know exactly when you're load will be finished. You can also utilize the smart things app which allows you to control the washer from your phone if you need it. I personally love that feature so I can do other house work or cook and can also monitor my washing cycles. I'm so in love with the ease of using the app that I think it's ruined me for getting any other washer. I've even started buying other appliances that are app enabled. I've only had one issue with the washer and that's the fact that I can't reach the clothes at the very bottom. I'm 5'4"and the bottom of the washer is completely out of reach for me. I have utilized a grabber to help me get the last of the items out of the unit to put in the dryer. This set from Samsung was worth every penny, I can't even imagine using a washer from anyone else. They definitely outdid themselves here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this Samsung washer for several months now and we like it a lot compared with all the washers we have ever had in the past. This Samsung washer has several settings for temperature of the water and I love that. I love that there are a lot of rinse choices and spin choices versus others that only have a few options. Another benefit of this washer is that it has a setting for waterproof bedding. I really love that there is a self cleaning setting and it reminds you when you need to do a self-clean. It even has a special setting for whites vs. darks. There are so many settings and choices. The most important thing to me is that it doesn't have the tube in the middle of the washer. I can fit a lot more things in it this way and it is sooooo much quieter.

My favorite thing is the capacity and tub design. It's absolutely huge. I can fit so much into the washer. I was even able to wash my comforter which had to be done at the laundromat b4 we bought this washer. That was a pain. I love all the settings choices. Our cat peed on my bed when she was accidentally locked in our bedroom 2 days before the washer arrived. I stripped the bed and waited the 2 days to wash it. I selected the maximum soaks, spins and rinses and despite sitting for 2 days every single bit of cat urine was washed away. No smell, no stain. Nothing! I was shocked. I only have 2 issues. I have short arms so I struggle to get to the bottom of the washer. I'm going to invest in a wood stool so I don't scratch my washer. My other issue is just that we have to plan laundry now because it takes almost all the water when it is running so u can't fill things easy (tub, pan etc.) Other than that I am completely delighted. It is truly the best washer I have ever used!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time trying out the smart washer with the smart app. It is very stylish washer which fits in my new home so good. And with the app I can get notified when the washer is done or indicating how long it remains even I’m not at home. (Which is good for mom of 3, I forgot to leave the laundry in the washer overnight few times.) and also there is even laundry receipt for all materials you wash. I like there is special function for my water proof mattress protector and a category in the button just for it. (And you cannot mix with other material laundry.). Overall it’s very good. But I do wish there is a category for cloth diaper since I wash cloth diaper all the time.

The drum looks really big and holds a lot more clothes than my previous washer. So many new options. Everything comes out so clean, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it was. The drum is so big! I love how I can throw my couch cushions and comforters in the washing machine with no problem. I love how many different settings there are. We tested wifi settings and it's amazing. It also has a self-clean reminder, Love it. There are so many!! I love the extra capacity. The washer is so big, I can barely reach the bottom of the tub. It also seems like our clothes are cleaner than with our older washer unit. I have never been able to do that before without going to the laundromat. We all hate going to the laundromat! Plus the washer interior is very large with stainless steel and no agitator, which you can wash very large loads and large items very easily. Of course the washer has smart compatibility, and you can change settings on your phone and upload custom wash cycles. One feature I noticed right away is the Vibration Reduction Technology. The washer is able to sense and balance the load, including heavy loads, which makes the spin cycle much quieter and with less movement. I don't have to worry about putting rugs and comforters in the washing machine. Also, the bedding preset is very useful. It dries bedding more thoroughly, and I don't have to dry sheets and comforters over and over again.

I would like to add a few features that I love The quality of the plastics used at small places The vibration of the machine while running is nil The noise is extremely low comparatively, much lower than my previous washer I like water proof washing feature which helps me washing outdoor picnic mats, mattress protector and jackets. Another notable feature is this washer has option to choose number of rinses accordingly . The time adjusts accordingly without changing the setting . As overall I like the appearance and quality . I love the Samsung washer more than the Samsung range lol

I am only 5 1 so no matter what I cannot reach the bottom of the washer machine. My husband had to go buy me a step stool so I could do the laundry. I'm not complaining whatsoever. I'm just putting that out there. Not everybody has short girl problems. The only other thing I would say is you need to leave the lid up after doing laundry just for a little bit for the moisture on the underneath part of the lid to dry. I don't know if it would dry on its own closed without becoming smelly or not, I have not tried it. To be honest, after owning a front loader I'm a little nervous too. I got to say though I really really really love this washer machine! If you are in the market for a new machine I highly recommend this one. Being short and all...lol!!

I like all the options on the machine from the timer to the water temp. I am also able to wash alot of clothes in 1 load with this washer. Not a huge fan of the song that plays when my laundry is finished.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received washer and dryer this afternoon ! Glad I bought them direct from Samsung , I have bought products from them in the past and they always pack their products with care.

Was a great washer, but stopped working 1 month after after 1 year manufacturer warranty ended. Samsung couldn't figure out what went wrong and Home Depot extended warranty was unable to repair. Unhappy with Home Depot warranty too....they didn't want to repair and offered a gift card, so now we may not have matching washer and dryer. Even with extended warranty I'm out money. Had to pay home Depot extra money to remove broken washer.
