This silcock was easy to install but was leaking after one winter. When I took it apart to check for debris, I found the connection from the stem to the valve seat was broken. I live very close to the ocean so could be a corrosion issue but had hope to get more than one season out of it. I don't believe replacement or repair parts are available at home Depot.

Easy to install just like any other SB fitting, however, mine started dribbling water from the valve about 12 months after installation. Very disappointed, for the price these should go maintenance free for a long time.

The Sharkbite connection was convenient when hooking up to the house plumbing however the faucet itself is below par (made cheap).

I installed it and it doesn’t shut off completely. Now I have to take it all apart and start over ☹️

No soldering, simply cut the old valve, clean up the pipe end, snap the new valve, Done. Leak free connection, job completed in 15 minutes.

Very easy to install! The only thing I would change is that I wish the mounting screws were included. Other than that great purchase!

I needed to get two hose bibs because mine froze this past winter in Fishers, Indiana. Both of my builder's grade copper hose bibs froze and split/leaked in the winter. This hose bib was expensive at over $40 each but they seem nice and were very easy to install. Hopefully with them being copper they will also not freeze as easliy. Lastly they were very easy to install with the push-to-connect pex style fitting.

Very easy connection ... no more soldering

Was not looking forward to having to solder in a new exterior water faucet, was in an awkward position behind my oil tank, I decided to give this one with a SharkBite connector in it a try, never used one before but I was willing to give it a try, well let me tell you, I cut the old one out and within 5 minutes I had the new one installed, worked perfectly, no leaks , I’m hooked! Great solution for homeowners!

Was able to replace a Woodford anti-siphon valve (failed due to the pipe bursting) without having to resort to brazing/sweating on a replacement valve. The Woodford was removed by using a $15 pipe cutter and the Sharkbite was just pushed into place and no leaks!

Worked as expected. Saved from having to solder several pieces of copper pipe
