Made replacing bathroom faucet easy.

Sharkbite products are amazing! Easy to install and remove. I highly recommend there products to anyone. The sink kit is very nice, they provide way more pex than needed, but better to have too much than not enough. All in all, I am systematically replacing old plumbing fixtures with Sharkbite!!

Great product, made installation of new sink a breeze. In fact planning on picking up another for the bathroom sink repair.

I used the sharkbite faucet installation kit to hook up a new sink and faucet in my newly remodeled half bath. This kit made installing the new faucet very easy. I don't know how to solder copper pipes so this worked out perfectly. I did have to move the hot and cold water pipes to hide them behind the new pedestal sink. This kit is great for DIYers who don't want or know how to solder. Just be aware that sharkbite products are a lot more expensive then your standard copper pipe fittings.

I replaced my kitchen sink and I wanted to replace everything else while I was in there and had everything torn apart. These valves are great. It was harder getting the original compression valves off than installing these. Since I was using these on pipes that already had valves on, I cleaned up the pipes with wire brush and sand paper to get a good seal. These have been installed for a couple weeks now and no leaks, works great. They look good too!

If you are installing a sink, get this kit, it has everything you need. Replacing the old faucets is a wise move if you are replacing an old one and this has everything you need so long as there is enough of the old 1/2" copper pipe sticking out of the wall. Turn the water off, open a facet as low down in the house as possible to drain water out. Gather a small basin and a towel. Cut off the old faucets and catch residual water in the basin and towel. Clean up the cut end so that it is nice and square. (There is a small tool to do this sold separately.) Push the new faucet onto the copper pipe. I like to attach the under sink connections next so that it is easier to see how long the vertical 1/4" PEX pipe (supplied) should be cut to. Push the vertical pipe into the top of the faucet. Close downstairs faucet and switch water on. Check for any leaks. Done. 10' of PEX pipe is plenty.

Over time our faucet valve become difficult or impossible to open due to the very soft water from our water well. When swapping out a fact recently I found the old valve fully seized and it simply would not budge. I hacksawed off the old valve, lightly sanded the pipe to get rid of any burs, and simply slid this valve in place. No soldering or clamps to use, they just slide right on! The kit has enough to do both faucets. Neither valve is color coded for hot or cold. A quick release tool is even included in the kit. It is time to retire the propane torch.

If you do any plumbing at all...from DIY to professional and you haven't tried SharkBite products, do yourself a favor and at least try them. I have been using them for years and they pass the test of time. They make plumbing tasks easy and they don't leak (if installed properly). Follow the instructions that are incredibly easy. Cut your copper, PEX or PVC pipe square, clean off any burrs, and make a mark 1" from the end of the pipe to ensure you have pushed it in far enough. Then simply push to connect. It's that easy. If you make a mistake on placement or orientation you can use the simple tool to remove or re-position the valve. You can even reuse the valve on another project. This kit for faucet hook-up makes the entire job quick and easy. I have installed numerous connections with this excellent product and will continue to because it is so easy and so practical. I have talked to other plumbers who also swear by the SharkBite brand.

Genius idea to put everything you need for a faucet installation in one package. This is for anybody, but the beginner DIYer will really be thankful. You really can't go wrong with a shark bite fitting, it's what makes plumbing so accessible for a DIY person. Inside the kit, there's a quarter turn valve, which makes it really easy. If you're a simple DIYer who wants to save money by installing a faucet by yourself, now you can! Great value!

I'm a real estate investor. Most of the properties I buy are 100 + years old and in need of work. I wanted to have this kit on-hand for the next sink installation where shut-off valves weren't installed or are not sealing properly. What I've always hated about sweating pipe is having to drain down the system and wait, and wait for the repair to be dry enough to solder. A few years ago I discovered SharkBite products. The ads seemed too good to be true but I decided to give them a try. I was, and still am, amazed at how well these fittings work. Cut and deburr the pipe, (copper or PEX) clean the ends and push on the fitting. Wet or dry I've never had a leak or a defective fitting. Another big advantage is that they are removable and reusable. This kit includes a removal tool. The fittings come with a plastic insert for use with PEX pipe. Although they can be left in place when working with copper they are not necessary and I remove them with a pair of needle-nose pliers. What I really like about this kit is that it includes a 10 foot coil of PEX pipe that can be cut to length as required. HD's web site says the kit includes both 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch disconnect tools but that's incorrect there is only a 1/4 inch disconnect.

I have been using Sharkbite products for many years and I love them. Many people are nervous using them, citing leaks, etc. I have not had one issue with any Sharkbite product I have installed, including couplers, valves, tees and various other fittings. They make plumbing projects so much faster as there is no need to sweat pipes. This faucet installation kit is perfect and comes with enough plastic tube to cut it to the length you need. Installation is quick and easy and too me about 10 minutes for the whole project. I recommend Sharkbite fittings to anyone who may not have the plumbing experience to sweat pipes or to anyone who needs to get the job done quickly. While they come at a premium, it is worth it.

I've been putting off replacing some screw valves under my sink due to the fact that its a tedious project draining the house of water pressure. I found this kit from SharkBite which provides all the things I need and an easy way to attach to my existing pipes. One thing to note there is a warning on the package that the product has pieces known to contain carcinogens in the state of California. I would not recommend this for kitchen or bedroom bathroom sinks, places where you might get a glass of water. The faucet connections and valve appear to be made of Plastic and some metal. The important pieces like the valve are metal. The pipe is a 3 / 8 " PEX pipe. Its nice that the valve only needs a quarter turn to open/close the valve fully. Overall the installation was fast and simple (minus draining the house pipes). The SharkBite connections connect exactly as expected, fast and simple. (Most of the plumbing retrofits and changes I make use SharkBite because of how easy it is to use).

This kit is excellent. The complete kit includes the right angle shut-off valves, the 1/4" pipe for the supply lines and the 1/2" female connectors for the faucet connections. It took almost no time to make the connections and hook up a faucet. It took me longer to drain the water from the pipes than it did to actually push the fittings on, cut the 1/4" pipe, and make the final connections to the faucet. There were no leaks the first time I turned the water on and the connections are still holding tight. I am quite impressed, and I would absolutely purchase the kit for a future faucet installation. The kit includes 10 feet of flexible pipe, and release tool for the 1/4" connections. You can easily adjust and reuse the kit for different or future faucets. My only issue with the kit is the lack of instructions. There are pictures on the back of the package, but not much in the way of detail. As long as you have some basic plumbing knowledge / experience, it won't be an issue.

Had to repair an RV faucet, water lines were leaking so opted to try this kit as I have Sharkbite connections in my home that are 13 years old and still leak free. Kit is good quality, complete with everything you need and easy to install.

Sharkbite fittings are simple and have saved me on many occasions, letting me avoid calling a plumber.

I purchased the Sharkbite faucet kit. I did a test install with a section of the white PCX tubing that comes with the kit. Nice clean install. However when I tried release the tube with the supplied orange removal tool, I failed. I also tried all the methods I saw on YouTube with no success. So in my experience the fittings are (not) removable.

These items are awesome and very easy to use.

Plumbers must despise whomever invented the Sharkbite connector. These make it easy for everyday aspiring DIY'ers to do plumbing repairs. They make upgrading sinks a breeze, as well as bath/shower upgrades. I dreaded plumbing repairs before, no longer.

The correct combination made the job a breeze!

Could not be happier! Old shut off valves and new supply lines started leaking after sink and cabinet swap. Took less than 15 minutes to cut off old valves, install the new SharkBite kit and test with no leaks. A very nice bonus was that the SharkBite valves allow you to swivel them after install for better supply line angle. Will definitely be purchasing another install kit when I install the new garage utility sink. One and Done
