Work very well. Works better using the galvanized ring shank nails to attach them to your poles....
Work very well. Works better using the galvanized ring shank nails to attach them to your poles. The screws stick out to far. Even worked well for my 2x8 boards.

Holds the 2x6 ok, but very difficult to install so that 2x6 is even with end piece. I had to use ...
Holds the 2x6 ok, but very difficult to install so that 2x6 is even with end piece. I had to use scrap piece and make pencil Mark's where bracket would go. Even then, I had to remove a couple and start over when it was misaligned.

This joist hanger is a much better choice over the conventional flavor when it is to be exposed in an 'open cover' outside deck or patio, especially when painted prior to installation ... much more pleasing to the eye ... no flange ears
