amazing stuff, worked great, however, it's way way way too expensive. will not buy again, i'll be getting the cheapest epoxy I can get next time.

The epoxy was difficult to push thru the mixing nozzle and would not go thru the extension tip more than half way. I had to purchase a different product to complete the job. Simpson has many great products and I am guessing the dual tube type would have worked fine but the single tube type was no good.

Seems to be a great product but only time will tell. Very easy to use and set up nicely.

Overall great product. Would buy again

Disappointed that the last 2.5 inches of tube cannot be used due to design. Had to go back for second tube.

Purchased HDX 10 oz Heavy Duty caulk gun from HD. Website says 10 oz gun will fit SET-XP....wrong. However, it will fit AT-XP. What's up Simpson? Don't get caught in field with this dilema. 5 star if not for this issue.

I used the epoxy to set some mounting bolts in a block wall for a winch system to hang ladders from. The deep mixing tube made the placement of the epoxy in the socket holes simple, and when the bolts were inserted i knew that there was sufficient epoxy. Since the material was pushed to the face of the hole and was sufficient to adhere the face trim on the bolt for the bearing surface of the winch. The material set up well and did not weep out or dribble down the block face. I was well pleased with the results and would purchase again for mounting projects on this type. I wonder if the epoxy is made in other colors for projects that might have visual exposure where the grey tone would not be acceptable.

The epoxy is good but the mixing nozzle doesn't work. It took too much pressure to get the epoxy out of the tube using the nozzle. So I took the nozzle off shot some into a cut off milk jug, mixed it with a little stick and used a disposable syringe with the end cut out of it to set it in the holes we drilled in the cement. Doing it this way worked well. the rebar was glued solid into the cement. Little messy but got the job done.

This is a really great product that is useful to glue, fill, or coat many things. It’s tough, strong, and hard. This is really a general purpose product that ought to be at every cash register, not hidden away with the foundation bolts.

Amazing bonding power. Right tool for the right job!

I had twelve 5/8" anchor bolts to install each set at an average depth of six inches. I used all of one tube and about 3/4 of the second tube to complete the job. The installation was easily accomplished using a standard high quality caulk gun. The ambient temperature was about 85 Deg. F. Excellent instructions. The 8.5 oz. cartridge is an perfect for small jobs like this one.

Worked okay, but comes with only one dispensing tube not two as shown. This did caused the work to go not as smooth as I would like.

This a terrible product. I bought to secure some rebar for a door opening project at my home. Home Depot doesn’t sell the heavy duty call gun required from Simpson. I bought a regular caulk gun and it broke trying to dispense product. The product wouldn’t mix as it is supposed to.

This requires a special caulking gun, it works if you have the right tools, I found the same stuff at Lowe’s with the usual caulking gun.

I would of given excellent but the product might have been part of a bad batch. It took too long for the right mix to start coming out of the tip when trying to fill the concrete hole. A lot was being wasted because both mixes have to mix at the same time for the right color to come out from tip
