This was a great alternative to climbing in the attic and running wire for a 3 way. Only problem is if you want to install in a 2 gang box, it doesn't fit very well. Other than that, it works great.

The switch functions as advertised. However, in the dark, groping for the small operating point is very inconvenient. Also the remote switch is an odd blue color rather than the normal white.

I would have liked to give this a 5 star review, but 4 stars was generous. While the remote switch works well when close to the transmitter switch, the range is very limited. I originally placed the switches about 40 feet apart, well within the stated range. Performance was intermittent. When I moved the remote switch to 30 feet in a less desired location, it worked fine. Extending the antenna by splicing in a longer wire helped. The switch is useful for a limited line of sight distance or under 30 feet, which may be satisfactory for hallways and staircases requiring a three way switch.

Fairly easy to install and exactly what I needed for stairway leading to basement.

I purchased and installed this in October of 2019. It functioned fairly well, though as noted in some other reviews there is a long delay between hitting the remote switch and the light turning on and off. The original battery died in January of 2020, only 3 months. The replacement battery lasted until February 2020, one single month. This is entirely unacceptable and I do not recommend this at all.

When ordering, it was not made clear, that the main switch did not have the filler switch,black in color, or as I ordered, the remote unit,to match the color of the other switches in my house. It does work nicely & when I receive the remote, to snap into the main switch, will match the other switches in my switch panel.

This unit solved a problem for us, we have a garage located about 20 m from our house. The garage is wired separately from the house, but we wanted to be able to turn on/off the garage soffit lighting from the house. I installed the receiver switch in the garage and put the transmitter in the house beside two other switches inside the front door. The directions were a bit hard to follow (poorly written) but I did eventually get it working. I did have a problem however; I mounted the transmitter close to the other switches and then placed a 3 -gang switch cover over all three of them (looking very tidy). The problem showed up the first night, we found our soffit lights on in the middle of the night. This continued for several days/nights - the lights would come on randomly and would be difficult to shut-off. Finally, I was so disgusted that I was going to take it back, so I began by removing the 3-gang switch cover, the lights were on and off randomly while I was doing this. It made me think the switch cover might have something to do with it. So I left it open for a few days - and it behaved perfectly. The final solution - I moved the transmitter about 3 cm from the other switches and used the switch cover that came with the unit. It has worked fine ever since (about 2 weeks). Would I recommend this to a friend? Not really, after I explain all of my problems, they would probably not buy it.

The system works well electrically. Problem is the mounting and instructions. The manufacturer cannot be contacted for farther instructions and the accompanying instructions are a joke. Retail sales cannot offer help and manufacturer will not answer phone. The mounting is very tricky, make sure you know how to mount. Seller not willing to compensate for remounting. Buyers be warned.

Works good most of the time. Every few months for no reason the remote control stops working and has to be reprogrammed to the switch(easy to do,only takes a minute).

Low cost and simple alternative to running wire and installing boxes. I have installed at least a dozen of these and they work well.
