Used two on each set of legs for extra support, installs easily, play set is very sturdy

Product worked great. Make sure you purchase a Total of 4 units to do 1 swing.

These worked out great for our meat pole apparatus to hang our deer on at deer camp. Had to order on-line as the store had already put them away for the season and wouldn't find them for me. Shipping was cheap enough and got them faster then having them shipped to the store and picking up.

The brackets worked great helps to have two people to put them together

Has worked as expected so far. Easy to setup and attach. Where it attaches to the top beam could be longer and provide more holes, but it isn't completely needed. I thought it would come with screws, but it didn't. Not a big deal since I had plenty for building the rest of the swing set.

For the top if my diy A-frame climbing play set it's the perfect connection. Anybody thinking it's all you need for a stable A-frame doesn't understand physics and the lever principle but this just btw.

After a recent storm took out our swing set, Home Depot came to the rescue with the parts to fix it. Instead of buying a new swing set for the grand kids, we bought 2 of the EZ A frame brackets, 2 8' 4X4s, a box of deck screws, & we are good as new. The only downside was the brackets were not in stock. Wait was less than 7 days & everything worked perfect.

We used this with two 4x4 on the A-frame and a 4x6 top beam. We used two brackets (one inside the "A" & one outside) & did put extra screws in from the top of the 4x6 to the 4x4s for added support because the beams we used were so massive, but this bracket worked perfectly.

these brackets make frame up a breeze , saves a lot of cutting and notching of parts.

I had too return to the store to look at a playset picture. When installed on the inside of supporting 4x4s on a 10 foot 4x4 span the self constructed playset was unstable. additional 2x4s were used for bracing. A longer top & addional screw holes might have provided greater stability.

Had to replace this type of bracket on an old swing set. They replaced the old bracket perfectly.

The angle is set at approximately 60 degrees which creates a base where the feet are as far apart at ground level as the length of the legs of the A frame. This creates a very stable frame. It is also takes up a lot of space.

I purchased a set of these brackets to expand the swing arm on my existing swing set by adding an additional A-frame brace and lengthening the main swing arm. The brackets worked flawlessly, making it very easy to line-up the correct A-frame angle. Only basic hand tools: drill, bits, wrench, were required to assemble the A-frame. It is easily assembled by one person, although final assembly of the swing frame definitely needs the aid of a helper, due to weight and bulkiness of the frame assembly. I'm planning on building a seperate swing assembly, with two pairs of these brackets, in the very near future, in order to mount a porch swing, so my wife and I can relax and watch the children play on their swingset/fort.

My wife and I used these brackets to build an a-frame for her garden swing. We assembled it precisely as she wanted. A few days later, she decided she wanted to move the legs outward a few inches. By myself(while she was at work), I don't necessarily recommend this, I removed the stabalizing screws from the overhead beam, and the bolt from the inside bracket on one of the a-frames, and loosened the bolt on the outside bracket. I then turned the aframe 180 degrees around the remaining bolt. Drilled new holes for the outside bracket and reattached the supports. I repeated these steps on the other a-frame; and, viola... in less than an hour, the modification was accomplished. It was fun and easy for us to assemble initially; and, thankfully, easy to modify also.

The brackets make it very easy to set the proper angle of the A-Frame and to align the crossbeam with the legs. One thing to note is that a pair of Easy Frame Braces (Model TB-1507) is required in conjunction with each A-Frame bracket in order to secure the crossbeam to the legs. I used the A-Frame Brackets / Braces to construct a 9.5' high swingset using 4x4 redwood for the legs and 2 stacked 4x4 redwood for the crossbeam. Overall stability was fairly good with only slight lateral movement when my kids are swinging very high. Pros: Makes it easy to set the proper A-Frame angle, well constructed. Cons: Need a long bolt to anchor the A-Frame to the Crossbeam (not included).
