Trim-a-slab is an effective product. It is rather quick and easy to install. I recommend it to those who want to provide a filler for the expansion joint.

Perfect filler for gap between pool coping and deck. Great product.

Followed the Sizing Guide to figure out what size to get and since the joint was uneven in some places, I went with the larger 1" size. I had no idea it would be so easy to install, even with the narrow spots that were more difficult. I only needed to trim either the bottom section down in a few spots or the sides down. It's a nice tight fit between my garage and driveway. I used the remainder for a strip between my front sidewalk that connects to the driveway. I would recommend this!

Great product and easy to use. The hardest thing to do is getting the PVC or old plastic out of the joints: this product inserts easily and, if you get the correct size, stays put after installing.

Few things that I have purchased over the years worked better than expected. Trim-a-Slab is one of them. I started with with a minimal purchase just to get an idea of how to work with it. When finishing, the first portion had already been down for about two weeks. The thought went through my head "No more weeds!!!" Sweet! I did it primarily to reduce subsidence and erosion issues under the slab. But to eliminate using weed killer and weed trimers all together was a true bonus. Well worth it and easy to work with once you have the knack.

Once you’ve cleared the expansion joint of all old wood and dirt, it’s much easier to install. I used a pick axe to clear the area. Make sure you measure the opening to order the right size.

We had 20-30 year old plastic joint fillers around our community pool and I didn't really want to put the same material back in, so I tried this Trim-A-Slab replacement and it worked liked a charm and looks better than the original. I highly recommend this product.

Trim a slab was very easy to install and saved a lot of time

Installs easily. After a few days it seemed to shrivel on top in this Sacramento heat. Filled the cracks between concrete slabs, but looks un-sightly. It will work, safety-wise until i can decide on a more permanent solution.

Great product for pool deck repair

Haven’t installed it yet but it should be perfect between garage gap and driveway. We also need 2” product but have been told it is not available.

Worked just as described. Purchased the sampler set first to make sure I bought the correct size. Very easy to install.

Excellent product. Before ordering, remove the old joint filler and verify the product size you actually need. Install tip: gently pound in using a non-marking rubber mallet. Get it mostly in to where the product top touches the concrete. Pounding it in too far will show irregular concrete edges, and is irreversible.

Easy to install but it’s not as clean and even as I expected it would look once installed. I ordered the sample pack before I ordered the size I needed to avoid buying the wrong size. My joints are all even in height and width throughout however the Trim-a-Slab product didn’t seat evenly.
