This product is amazing, easy to cut and easy to install.
I will never use Luan again as underpayment as a base for flooring. The boards are primaries for fastener locations to the subfloor. And when it’s installed the floor is solid. Great product.

Great, strong backing board and lightweight. Tough to cut with a utility knife, but then used a jigsaw and cut with ease. Awesome material for tile undersurface.

A year later in florida..
So others said its not good for outdoors or partially wet areas, well guess what, I had this around my lanai room on the bottom part of my screen frame since 4/2014 and I have sprinklers wetting it every second day, rain here in southwest florida and lots of sun and still looks the same way I bought it. No mold or stains, no chipping or cracking, my toddler keeps on hitting it with toys and its very durable, believe me..
So, if this fiberock can stay strong outside in this weather, then it surely can stay a lot stronger and longer inside.

This material is excellent! It is strong and easy to cut with a jigsaw. It made our flooring project go very smoothly. The job is done and looks like a professional did the work!

Great for tile in a non-moisture situation. You would want to add a moisture barrier. I used it for a hobby project, the cement side was not very deep into the core of the board.
